Fantastic experience! Nathan and his group help my wife and I with getting a great loan for our house two years ago. And now recently helped us again with a even better rate and payment by refinancing our home. Nathan walked us through the process with such patients and very little work. He was on the phone with out hesitation when ever we had a question or concern that we might have had. He is personable and kind to us who know very little in the matters of home loans. Over all I am 100% satisfied with our experience with Nathan and his group! My family and I thank you Nathan. read more

Nathan and his team are awesome! I've worked with his team before to refinance a home loan - and they did a great job helping me complete that process. Thus they were the only team I considered for a new place. Nathan provided clear instructions, tips, and breakdown of loan options based on my needs, financial situation and current housing market. From open of escrow to close, Nathan and his team closed it in 14 days. Very responsive, professional and knowledgeable - I highly recommend Nathan and his team! read more

I been buying, selling, and refinancing for 19 years, I never met anyone more professional than him. Straight and to the point, no games. At first I was skeptical about the company because I had no references other than yelp, but to my surprise I found an excellent loan officer that I will recommend for years to come. He answers your questions promptly and follows up in any concern you have. Trust me, do yourself a favor don't look anywhere else, he will give you the information you want without the games most loan officers play. Mr Rufty you really help me with my refinance, you gave me a great rate and excellent service, thank you. read more

Nathan and his team did a wonderful job making our 1st home purchase as smooth and easy as possible. Definitely would recommend.

So it may seem odd about leaving a review about a company I didn't end up using but I've gotta tell you how impressed with Nathan. My specific situation wouldn't allow him to utilize his services BUT, he gave me multiple options to seek from others and for that I am grateful! In fact, out of 4 companies I emailed he is the only that got back to me. Great job all around. KC Bloem read more

It's my extreme pleasure to write this review for Nathan Ruffy at Mountain West Financial. Nathan have been handling home loans for our family for the last several years and we have always been fully satisfied with his performance. Personally this is the second time that my husband and I have purchased a home. We are so happy that we chose to use Nathan as our loan officer. We could have used my son in-law that works for Wells Fargo but we chose Nathan. We came to him with credit challenges and he advised us on exactly what we needed to do to bring our credit to an acceptable level to receive an initial pre-approval. After a few months of doing exactly as instructed we received our pre-approval and started the search for our home. Throughout the entire process Nathan delivered extraordinary service well beyond our expectations. Jennifer which is his assistant was also on board with this transaction. She compliments him well with her excellent customer service skills and she stays abreast of needed documents to move the loan forward to the next level of the process. We also received updates regarding the loan status on a regular basis as the updates became available from the processor and underwriter. Most recently we received thank you cards showing appreciation for us using Mountain West Financial as our choice lender...And my husband even received a birthday card. To top it off; even when we thought things couldn't have gone any better; we received a folder with all of our signed loan documents in it and our home appraisal. I give Nathan and Jennifer both 5 stars for supreme service and attention to detail. I recommend anyone looking for a great and dedicated loan officer; Nathan is the one. You will certainly be happy and satisfied with choosing him to serve your home needs..... Thank you again Nathan and Jennifer we are so happy that you both were a part of making our purchase of this beautiful home a dream come true..... read more

I found Nathan thru Yelp and once again Yelp did its job. From the minute i called him, Nathan was on it. He would listen to my questions, provide immediate answers and provide professional advice. He was always available if i needed to speak to him in person, email or my favorite a quick text message. Throughout my refi process, Nathan would always call or text me on the status of the new loan, and what was going to happen next. It was the smoothest process i have ever gone through. I would no doubt recommend his services to friends and family. I've worked with a few other real estate agents/Brokers and Nathan, with his kindness and professionalism, far exceeded them all. Thank you Nathan. read more

For anyone who is interested in buying/re-financing a home, NATHAN is for sure the guy to go with. I was once told that buying a house is as stressful as a death in the family. If you have any mortgage needs, Nathan Rufty is your guy! We recently needed help with a refinance which led us to Nathan, and we couldn't be more pleased. He did everything he could to make sure that we were happy with all the terms and secured us a very low interest rate. Nathan Rufty and his assistance Jennifer were great, very professional, answered all my questions, purchasing my first home was terrifying but they made it so enjoyable that my nerves calmed down once my offer was accepted. I had spoken or tried to speak with other loan officers but they seemed not to want to help me or want my business. After I was referred to Nathan by my friend who has used him for a refinance she spoke very highly of him and his team. After the first call to Nathan I knew he would be the one to guide and help us through the loan process of buying a home. We closed on time and the process was not bad at all, from other people I heard that bought a home said it was the worst experience. That was quite the opposite with Nathan and Jennifer, can not say it enough, thank you thank you and thank you for helping us purchasing a home. He has all my business and I will refer him friends and family who are looking for a professional loan officer for a home loan. read more

Nathan was AWESOME!!!... I have been trying to refi a house i have lived in for 8+ years (in my mom's name). I was working with a guy whom I had dealt with before and respected since June. He finally gave me a numbers breakdown and told me I needed to come up with 36K to do the loan. I was floored to say the least....4 months into this process and now you tell me that? Anyways, I found Nathan on here and he called me back after sending him a Yelp message within hours. We spoke I explained my situation to him and he walked me through the process and numbers very concisely and clearly that I understood all of it. Although he was unable to help me or change my situation, he went above and beyond for someone whom he couldn't even help! That saying of character is how you treat someone who can do nothing for you... I believe that is him!!!! Thanks again Nathan! read more

Nathan Rufty - Canopy Mortgage - Nathan Rufty at UCREP - Mortgage Brokers Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

We just closed on our VA IRRL re-fi and could not be happier. Nathan did everything that he said he was going to do, when he said he was going to do it. We got an unbelievable, once in a lifetime rate of one point nine nine and we could not have done it without Nathan. At first I had my reservations about trusting a mortgage broker who I had never met in person to coordinate such an important deal. But he was on the ball from the beginning to end and delivered a great deal. You can trust Nathan. read more

I cannot say enough positive things about Nathan & his team. I started the home buying process with a different lender- one of the big national companies that is constantly advertising how easy they make it to get a home loan. However, talking to their reps felt like talking to a giant call center with limited knowledge and generic answers. They also asked for so little information from me that i did not feel confident about a smooth or quick closing when the time would come for actual underwriting. After a couple weeks of uncertainty AND nervousness, I decided to try someone more local and I am so happy I found Nathan on Yelp. From the first call he provided me with so much more information and specific answers to all my questions. His team is very thorough and they make sure from the get go that they have all your information, paperwork, and potential hold ups cleared to ensure that everything will go smoothly as soon as you do find your future home. They also break down the numbers in detail so you know exactly what to expect in terms of closing costs and mortgage payments under various scenarios. For a process that can be so daunting and one of the biggest purchases most of us will make in our lifetime, Nathan's team makes it as painless and easy to understand as possible. They take away so much of the worry and handle everything for you so that you can put your focus on finding the perfect home. One you go into contract on a home, they stay on top of everything including other parties, like Escrow, so that there are no delays or hiccups and you can close on time, if not early. I will absolutely be going with Mt West Financial and specifically with Nathan Rufty for my next home purchase or refi and will happily refer my friends and family to him. read more

My wife Paula and I are mobile notaries with over 10 years of combined experience as loan signing agents. We have notarized documents for hundreds of different loan officers. Yet we would definitely not recommend all of them. At the signing table we hear the client's good, bad and ugly experiences they have had with the whole loan process. Time after time we get nothing but positive feed back about Nathan and his team. They stress how great the communication and level of care they have received regarding their loan process. When dealing with such an important purchase decision, you want someone on your team with the knowledge, experience and personal attention to your goals that would make your transaction a great one. When recommending lenders to friends and family, Nathan Rufty is always at the top of the list. read more
