I had just bought some beats studio pros in the electronics department and go and shop around a…read morelittle bit. i find four more items i need and go to the self checkout. come to find out my items qualify for a $5 gift card. ok fine, so i scan it and it needs a team member to put some security label on it. so i wait for 5 minutes for one to come over. finally a woman comes up, grabs the label and scans it, and as she's doing it she's muttering something about "f my life." young woman, short hair, glasses at 3:30 3/29/26. throws the gift card on the scanning platform, doesn't say a damn thing to me and zooms away as fast she can. i would have been perfectly happy to give up the stupid gift card as long as i didn't have to wait and put up with this bs.

Your only other choice for shopping in the Oxford/Anniston area is the Quintard Mall. While they offer different stores, the Quintard Mall is a lot older and run down, which makes shopping at the Exchange the better option if you have to choose. There are several stores here, including Target, Best Buy, TJMaxx, Kohl's, Old Navy, Bed Bath & Beyond, Petsmart, Rackroom Shoes, Kirkland's, Dick's Sporting Goods, Hobby Lobby, Lane Bryant, Ross, Dressbarn, Merle Norman, and a few more. If you're hungry, you can go to Olive Garden, Longhorn Steakhouse, Golden Corral, Mexico Lindo, or Arby's. There's also a 49 degrees (frozen yogurt) and a Dunkin' Donuts.

The big departments stores here are JCPenney, Sears, Dillards, and Goody's. There's also American Eagle, Aeropostale, Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works, Hallmark, Rue 21, Payless, Spencer's, Avon, Icing, Claire's, etc. Campus Spirit sells a lot of Alabama & Auburn items if you're into that. You can get a haircut at Mastercuts or Regis. Regis is more expensive and busier, but there's a reason for that. Moon Day Spa offers eyebrow threading & waxing for $10. You can also catch a movie at Amstar Cinemas, which is the only movie theater in the area. The food court doesn't offer a lot to choose from. Sbarros shut down recently. There's still a Chick-fil-A, Great American Cookies, Max Orient, and American Deli. I usually eat at American Deli, which has decent gyros & a really yummy peach punch.

This store is laid out pretty similar to any of the other ones I've been in. Staff (one person working at the front check out) greeted us when we came in and wished us a good night when we left. Store was clean and prices are prominently displayed on digital readouts located by the items (especially in kitchen gadgets area). All in all this location is pretty good, clean and well stocked.
