I took my vehicle in for a simple oil change at 5:14 I was treated very rudely my the woman at the counter even though the text message said my vehicle was complete, she through my ticket aside and kept giving me rude face and sarcastic comments. the problem I really have is that it took two hours to complet the job. PSA folks if you need an oil change or something else done at Walmart in Oxford Alabama just go somewhere else or YouTube and learn how to do it they are worth your time and money. August 21,2023 at Walmart Oxford ,Alabama : We are just trying to see if y'all had Ostreo Bi-Flex and everyone in the whole store. pharmacies included ,were very rude and didn't even go see if the product was on the shelf, just guessed. Management created a culture at this Walmart that is not welcoming. I went to the money center for banking related issues, to be met with two managers who couldn't do anything for me but waste my time. Customer service and management both were not helpful at all and incompetent at listening in order to solve this common issues. Management then proceeded to ignore me by calling up the next customer. Don't plan on going back there just from the vibes along. read more

The Worst Auto center in the state . I was the only vehicle with 4 employees, it took them 2 hrs to change my oil . After a hour wait I ask them what was going they said they needed to rewrite my ticket and ask now why didn't you ask me once you found out , they said we will give you a discount on synthetic ok... now additional hour later I am still waiting, .... they said they have been with working with my skid plates .... did I say I was the only vehicle here with 4 guys standing around it . I hate Walmart. It is a necessary evil in my life. There is never an employee when you need one and if you DO happen to find someone, they don't know how to assist you. I am currently waiting on someone to unlock an Adirondack chair for me but it seems no one knows who has a key. I forgot to grab a couple things before heading to Atlanta for the weekend and had just stopped to grab some BBQ and this was nearby. Ran in for a couple items and then back on the road. So what I like about chain stores is how they typically set them up in a very similar fashion. You go from one location to another location and everything is in the same place. Makes it simple to quickly get in and out and find what you are after because it has the familiar feeling. Not so much the case here. This location doesn't follow the standard Walmart layout. Really not that big of a deal, but worth noting. This location has plenty of parking and is large just like all others. I think my main issue with this location is it feels like it is in need of a good cleaning. Not the worst Walmart I have been in by far, but they could really stand to spend some time cleaning the place up. Prices are similar to other Walmart locations, and tend to be very reasonable. No interaction with staff on the store floor and when I went to pay there was no line at the self check out so I took advantage of being able to skip the line to have somebody else scan my items. So I'm not sure what the employee interaction at this Walmart are like. If I was in this area and needed something I would grab it from here. Wouldn't go out of my way to shop here in the future though. read more

Charles and Laura, from the automotive department in the Oxford, Alabama WalMart deserve recognition. While on a weekend trip we stopped by this WalMart and came back out to find our car wouldn't start. Charles came out to the car, checked the battery, and after we purchased a new battery came back out and installed it for us. Both Charles and Laura were helpful, kind and respectful. They were knowledgeable and professional. They went above and beyond. read more

Grocery pickup is horrible at this location. Substitute items aren't even close to the chosen product. They are constantly claiming they are out of items. Funny thing is I put it to the test and went inside to find one of our missing items, they were fully stocked just as I suspected. Employees here are lazy plain and simple. Update-- one of the employees at this location didn't like my review so they sent me a "compliment" and cursed at me lol. So in addition, the employees at this location are vile. Beware and shop at a different location that appreciates their customers and understands without customer they are out of business. read more

It's a giant WalMart that has everything you could ever need. It is open 24 hours, but they close one of the entrances at night. The parking lot is used by truckers who like to sleep in their trucks, so if you come at night be aware of all the 18 wheelers you will have to navigate around. read more

I had forgotten how big this Walmart was. It's huge. I ended up being one of those "People of Walmart" walking around in my pjs and a snow parka at midnight. There are a variety of interesting people who visit this Walmart late at night. I'm sure they thought the same about me. In any case, this has to be the one stop shop for everything in Oxford. If you can deal with all the craziness, this would be the place to shop to get everything you ever wanted. read more

This is a BIG THANK YOU to the lady working in the money center on Oct. 31,2016.I wished we had gotten her name. we were there to get a money gram for a ATV we were to purchase. We had talked to EBAY and they said our money would be refunded if this purchase wasn't what we thought. So we did have some doubts. But we were about to take the gamble. We had never purchased a money gram before, so we asked her advice. She said this didn't look right. It should go through pay-pal and not need a money gram. We told her we had talked to Ebay and she said, with a concerned look, "I wouldn't" . My husband asked if she thought we were being scammed? and she said, "That's what it looks like to me". We said thank you and left with our money in pocket. How right she was!! We called the air force base, this sgt. was transferring out, and they never heard of her and said this was a common scam, unfortunately. This lady could have just done her job and sold us the M.Gram, but she went beyond the job and treated us with human kindness. We appreciate her so very much. If I ever do need any services in the money department, I will never go anywhere but this WalMart. read more
