But they're under new management/ownership as of November 2023 & man, they're doing fantastic! They still serve the gas station pizza we all love (inexpensive, good, & so convenient!). But now they've added biscuits & chicken wings, as well as other staples you might need like eggs, milk, canned soup, chips, & cokes (sodas, for anyone not from the South). The pizza, wings, & biscuits can be called ahead to order or just walk in & order. Plus, they've renovated so everything looks so much better inside & the new owners are so friendly & kind. I'm so excited to have a convenient store in my rural area!

I arrived at the appointment at said date and time and was told "there's no doctor here" and "that wasn't us, we don't have a doctor here" and that I probabaly scheduled it with the wrong doctor. I explained that I made the appointment in office, this office, and she basically told me I was incorrect- although I have an appointment card confirming this appointment. She did not apologize. She was rude. And I would never come here if given the choice. Not to mention that the area of town this establishment is in, is not the best and the building upkeep is also not good. Awful service. Don't go here.

I decided to take a ride and check out this particular location. The store was clean and organized. This location didn't have a big selection in the shoe department but they offered a few brands not found at Belk. The sale items were at a decent price for out of season but could have been discounted a little more. I would take a ride to this location again.

You can certainly do all of your grocery shopping here and avoid driving into town when need be. Produce is not the best is not always fresh and sometimes the meat is too fatty but most everything else they have good prices and you pay less tax then the grocery stores and the surrounding area. You can't buy in bulk that's okay with me.

They also are the only store in town (that I know of) that sells Buffalo Rock ginger ale. It's an Alabama soda that's difficult to find but the BEST for a tummy ache, afternoon fizz, or a "working man's mule" cocktail (bourbon and Buffalo Rock). Stop by for a snack and to stock up on some southern classics.
