We were told to air fry them for around 3-4 minutes and let me tell you... we aren't big sweet eaters but these pies will have us coming back. Next we went there for the hamburger. This is our first time to ever visit the Greasy Cove. My wife and I split a cheeseburger with onion, tomato, pickle , lettuce ketchup, mayo and we added mustard. The homemade fries we ordered ($4.00) on the side came in their own basket. Piping hot and fresh. I told my wife they served too large a portion. We finished them all. The burger patty was cooked on a flat top, so the edges were crispy and they hung over the bun. So good. This was our first visit and we have noticed Greasy Cove on different social media platforms for a couple of years and finally decided to try them as we passed down 59 South and took the 15-20 minute drive. Thought I would share our experience with a review... by the way we arrived at 10:45 for our "lunch" to try the burger and left so happy. Greasy Cove..!

They have had refrigeration issues from day one, but can't seem to get them functional. The issues are deeper than just inoperable refrigeration, they continue to sell items that have gone bad because of the inoperable refrigeration. They have no quality standards, and often I have had to stand in line to wait on someone to check me out (even though they had very few customers). This place is in bad need of adult leadership. I am also going to report their repeated failures, to the Health Department.

I guess I really expected there to be a large selection of meats. When we went there were a few things, but nothing that really wowed us...also, what they did have was kind of on the spendy side. Not sure if we hit them at a bad time and they had low supply or if this is the norm. They also had coolers of frozen foods that you could meal prep. Things like okra and other veggies. Also, they did have some meat rubs and sauces that were kinda original.
