I was going to eat in my car once, but homeless people kept knocking on my window asking for money. This only happens at the Gadsden store. It may appear a little scary on the outside, they could definitely use a remodel including a dab of paint, and once you get inside it has the look and feel of a place that could use an overhaul. But, I would put this out there, this is the grocery store equivalent of a dive bar. Produce section isn't enormous, but they have everything you would need and the prices are upwards of 1/2 that of the other local places. Typical grocery store items through the middle, canned foods, boxed foods, etc, you know what you'll find in a grocery store. Where these guys really shine is their meat department. Great quality and really good prices. Always able to find some good options for cooking for the week. Highly recommend this place if you are anywhere in the area .... especially for their meat. Side note, if you are looking for bakery, this location is a little limited on their offerings (compared to the other two that I've been at).

Some of the items at Aldi are good deals and some of them are good quality while being a good deal. A great example is their bread. Good quality and they offer it at a great price point. I often get their hot dog rolls. They are better priced than the cheap store branded hot dog rolls at other supermarkets and are actually good. They also have good produce. The store looks cool enough, but they are too short staffed and do not offer bags or anything. I also remember trying to call another location once upon a time to find out that Aldi does not use land lines. Rather inconvenient if you need to call a location.

As far as rewards and stores go, I prefer Mapco, but this is a solid second place. Not an exceptional # of pumps, but enough to never be all full with customers. The store isn't as big as other Shell locations, but has all the staples that you would want for a quick in and out driving snack or drink. Station and market are well kept and clean as far as gas stations go. I don't have any issues with this location and would recommend it to others.
