If I could give zero I would. Cursed at about a fellow employee I knew nothing about and verbally assaulted as I'm walking in the door. What an incredibly low standard for this normally good brand of department store. Of course I'm not all that familiar with the Volusia County malls customer service standards but holy cow. I recall now why it has been 15 years since coming here. Wow. Yuck. Never coming back.

Men's Dillard's

There are 3 different Dillard's. The men's and house wear is by sears, the women's and kids is in the center south side. This is the one with the very strange hair salon that you can watch people as they are getting there hair done. The north side of the center is also woman's with the ladies shoes section. I am not sure of the reasoning to split them up since there is overlap between the two women's stores in the center. Overall they are moderately priced. They have some nice items at times but nothing special. I have usually been here with my wife and/or daughter to look at shoes or dresses. They do have sales on dresses that seem to make them happy. I just wish they had some seating for the husbands.

Guest Relations Target Corporation…read more Subject: Complaint Regarding Black Friday Swag Bag Distribution - Daytona, FL Location To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the misleading Black Friday promotion advertised by Target. Your Black Friday ad clearly stated that swag bags would be distributed at 6:00 a.m. to the first 100 people in line. Based on this information, my sister and I arrived at the Target located on International Speedway Boulevard in Daytona Beach at 4:30 a.m. and waited patiently in the cold for over an hour. However, shortly before the store opened at 6:00 a.m., we were informed--only then--that the swag bags had actually been handed out at 4:00 a.m., well before the time stated in Target's official advertising. Not once during the hour and a half we stood in line did any staff member notify those waiting of this change. As a result, our time and effort were entirely wasted due to what I consider to be false and misleading advertising. I would like to know why the Daytona location distributed the bags earlier than the nationally advertised time. This inconsistency is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the store's adherence to Target's promotional commitments. Given the circumstances, I respectfully request that two swag bags--one for myself and one for my sister--be mailed to my home address. We both arrived early, followed the advertised instructions, and waited patiently, only to be denied what the promotion promised. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution.

This was the first time my wife and I visited this Belk in Port Orange. My wife was looking for a…read morepair of shoes on sale on line and this was the only Belk near us that had them in her size in stock. When we entered the store we saw several items throughout the store displaying 60% off. Well my wife found her shoes now she is loading up on other bargains at the 60% sale price. Hopefully for me she doesn't find too many bargains. Well one of us will definitely be coming back after payday.

My husband purchased a pair of Sketchers Sandals in December from Belk. He has worn them a total…read moreof 5 times. He went to put them on this morning and split in half. We went to Belk to exchange or get a refund since he's only worn them 5 times. They no longer had his size so we requested a refund. They said that they can't tell how much we paid being it was over 30 days. The sandals were regularly $65 and we got them on sale for $48 when we purchased them. The store would not credit our Belk account for the $48. Their system would only allow a refund of $17 on a gift card since we didn't have the receipt. If we had known the sandals were going to split like that we would have kept the receipt. I feel that their excuse that the system can't find pricing if over 30 days is total bull crap and a way for the store to profit and the consumer to be out of money for sandals that only last 5 times of being worn. We will no longer shop at their store. They should be able to look up anything that I charged on their Belk Mastercard. You have lost a loyal customer for such horrible customer service.

We were on a mission to find a light weight suit jacket for a friend of mine. After looking a bit on our own and only finding "winter weight" .. I found a sales person, no name tag actually he looked like a customer and I was hesitant on asking him, but I did ask him he worked at Penny's yes, then I explained what we were looking for... his response was over there...pointing to the "F" on the wall.. " See the "F" on the wall over there" Now in my past I worked for a company's that customer service was first...we always asked follow up questions as we walked the customers to the item..or the "F". Now we came into the store a half hour after it's opening...I've posted a few photos of the tables I can only say that the closing team didn't get the store ready for the next day... Did we find a jacket.... yes on our own it make me nuts to find the collection of jackets weren't sized, making it difficult to shop.? I can sense you thinking stop the whinning....but having to check each and every tag... can be frustrating. So we found a couple of shirts to try on with the jacket...so off to the dressing room. I sat in the chair provided...really was shocked at the stain on the carpet... not inviting. Now we're off to the cashier.... 2 men were there, we were greeted by one. The other associate was new and really hadn't be trained to ring as he was handed a manual by a supervisor. So why put a new employee on a Saturday without proper training. It's frustrating for the associate as well as the customer's waiting in line. The associate who did ring up the purchase wasn't trained properly as well, he was able to ring but was stumped when I showed him the Qcode for the 20% off....his response was "oh you have to write to corporate for the 20%". what? I asked him to try scanning the code, again he said "you need to contact corporate for the 20%. The sales associate who had helped me at cosmetic counter happened to walk by and heard the interaction...she stopped and said to the other associate I'll show you how to scan this. Her helping was the saving grace. It is so important that Penney's survive... we need to keep stores opened that can provide clothing, housewares etc for the middle income customers. Please I have read about stores closing, it sadly is the way of the world but I do believe that if Penney's put in bit more training, experience staff and expectations/standards to meet it would improve the shopping experience for all.

I can usually find what I am seeking when I shop at this location. I primarily shop for items for…read morethe Home. (Towels, kitchen items, sheets, etc) The store could use a few more registers (there is only a customer service area in Ladies and in Housewares). I appreciate the fact that they still provide Curbside service for the times I order something online.
