Alright, I would like to educate people looking to review digstown on the fact that the long ( incorrect ) review by Byron should not be trusted. I am a customer or Digstown and have a best friend who works there who would never lie to me. I know many of the employee's who are good people. Byron comments on ther false inability to follow specific directions. My dog needs to be tucked in, given medications, and fed in special food bowls. They have always completed this b/c I have seen them do so when my friend has sent me pictures of them doing so. They always feed animals ( if a dog does not eat, it is b/c just like humans, dogs get stressed when they are left somewhere too, often causing lack of appetite) Though Byron claims to KNOW his puppy... I knwo my dogs too, my dogs ALWAYS eat too, sometimes at digstown they do not, due to excitement, or stress. The women who works the front desc is a Bel Rea graduated Vetrinary Technician, SO I call absolute BS on this whole " what medicine" comment. My one dog has seizures if he misses two doses of meds, something I never told digstown. My dog has never had seizures after hsi stay at Digstown, which proves to me he always receives his medication. The comment on the beds, ACTUALLY the dogs do not sleep on "cold cement" All dogs owners are asked to bring anything including beds and toys that the dog would like to sleep with/on. If a dog does not have a bed ( or the owners neglect to bring one) the dogs are offered a cotton fluffy bed ( ask for a tour, you will see them all over the back in the runs) Digstown chooses not to give afternoon naps b/c so many owners have said they do not want there dogs to be forced to rest if they want to play all day. That is why I LOVE digstown. its the only place my dogs can have fun ALL DAY and I do not have to pay extra. If you would like your dog to have a nap, you call them and your dog will receive one. As for the comment on staff age... I do not think it is correct of Byron to be descriminatory of age. My friends who work there are 21, 26, 35, and 38 years of age. The comment on the Ziplock bag being full of food is , digstown trys there best to save the customers money. I myself have asked them if my dogs do not eat there meals, to please save them and put them back in the bag. they told me they always do that. so that explains that. As for the losing the bed situation... not possible. When you bring your dog's belongings to Digstown, they take digital photos of all there belongings and the date. if anything were to go missing, they look at the picture and would reimburse you for the loss. My dogs have 2 beds and several toys,, none of which have ever been lost. As for the whole knowing your dog thing .. obviously you do not. My dogs have been to the Petsmart Pet hotel, and came home CRAZY b/c they did not play and have fun. I have been sent pictures of my dogs taking naps at digstown, and when I pick them up they are still exhausted and hungry ( even when they eat) b/c they spent so much time havging fun in the pools and with the other dogs !!! I fully recomment this daycare as I bring my dogs all the time !!!! Also, they give you a FREE day of caycare to start, so try it for yourself and see !!! Dont take mine, or the incorrect "byron"'s words for it !!! read more
