I wish I had found this business sooner. My iMac was running slowly and had been targeted with malware. Living in new Richmond, I took it in to our downtown repair shop. After going there three times and paying for a repair, it was no better than when I had first brought it in. Greg at digital garage had the computer less than a full day. It is now running well as it did when I purchased it new seven years ago. I can't recommend this business highly enough. Brought my son's laptop computer in to have the fan replaced, they claimed that when they opened it up and cleaned it, it was so full of dust that it wouldn't even power up. "Needs a new motherboard or processor" was the diagnosis. They charged me $48 dollars for this piece of insight, but didn't bother preparing an estimate for repairs because they didn't think it would be "worth fixing it when you could buy another one for $300 or $700". When I asked what they had, they said they really work with business computers not personal ones. When I took it for a second opinion elsewhere, it fired right up and they promptly put the new fan in as requested. What kind of hillbilly tech shop is this anyway? read more

We brought our laptop in because Windows was not loading. Nick called a few days later and said other than being slow, it loaded fine. We turned it on at home and it quit working after a few minutes. I don't mind paying $55 for a diagnostic fee, but I expect it to be diagnosed a little more thoroughly. Oh yeah, if it was his computer, he's get rid of it...too slow. I'm updating my last review. They were not able to recover the data from my hard drive but they did install my new drive and formatted the drive in only a few hours. I appreciated the techs suggestions on which drive to purchase from another computer store when he found out their suppliers did not have the proper drive in stock. So for this trip the service was A-OK. I think the price was reasonable for the work done. read more

Worst customer service ever. Absolutely terrible. The Owner / manager didn't seem at all concerned w/ keeping customers informed about progress. The part I needed was canceled - I only found out about it after I called to check the status (2 weeks and no response before that). I had to find the part myself online and hand-deliver it to the shop. When I arrived, the owner / manager didn't even speak to me (deep in conversation about a Star Wars movie or something), rather gave a head flip to his inexperienced, young associate who wasn't any help. The tech was MUCH more knowledgeable and helpful than the owner. Suggest NEVER taking anything here - expensive and long wait for service and correspondence. 4+ weeks for a new power supply. read more
