Found Haynie's Garage while looking to replace an auxiliary battery on my Dodge Durango. I had the…read moremain battery replaced at a Valvoline in Lewisville. Valvoline replaced on the main battery and failed to strap it back down where it sits under the passenger seat. That's how Haynie's found it. So this cause out Durango to not start properly due to not having the auxiliary battery. I called Haynie's garage and a really nice guy answered and when I explained what I needed he went into all this detail what that auxiliary battery does. I had no clue. Found out I was talking the owner Chris. Super nice and absolutely knowledgeable. They close at 5:30pm and I got there at 4pm for the battery and to have my oil changed. No problem. I didn't ask for the oil change til I arrived and he said he had literally just used the last oil filter on a Jeep but would get one right over and was apologetic. That was absolutely fine with me and I didn't mind waiting. Chris also told me that he found my battery was not strapped down from Valvoline. This garage is off a dirt road since he moved to this newer location. His shop is sits off the road but it's still easy to find with a GPS. It's worth the trip. Haynie's Garage is absolutely awesome. I will only take my vehicles here from now on.

My car suddenly wouldn't start unless jumped and was making a disgusting scraping noise so I decided to try to find a mobile mechanic so I wouldn't have to drive it to a shop. I am SO happy I went this route bc I will now be using Wilson's mobile for all future car problems moving forward. The owner, Ethan, is extremely knowledgable, honest, trustworthy, and great at explaining everything in a way that's easy to understand for people like me who know next to nothing about cars--I actually learned some things in the process. In addition to that, his response time when i reached out was extremely quick which was super helpful as i was essentially stranded at home. I ended up getting a diagnostic quote on one of the issues (scraping noise which was a wheel bearing issue) from Pep Boys...and Wilson's Mobil's quote was $500+ cheaper! That's a BIG chunk of change for me! Cheaper AND more convenient than driving it to the shop--can't beat that if you ask me. I truly am so grateful for the help and top notch customer service. Brought in my 64 corvette {c2 corvettes are a challenge to work on, so had issues finding someone…read morethat would work on it}, it was pulling hard to left when braking, I had guessed it was a front right piston, so left the parts with them and the car. They are busy, but were able to get started on it the first day, and found it was not the front piston after replacing. They were able to keep under covered parking while they worked through the possibilities, replaced rear pistons and some other needed parts along the way, and turned the rotors and it is now braking better than ever, and they did it all at a reasonable price. They are talented mechanics, I highly recommend them for any work needed, old or new cars.

He showed me the before and after pictures, and let me tell you he did an amazing job fixing the damaged sheet metal and body panels. It drives like a dream and looks great. You would have never guessed it was in a wreck! I bought it over 2 months ago and it's my daily driver. I've had zero problems with it, and I still smile every time I drive it. Hugh is an honest guy and he was great to do business with. He even has a one year warranty on his work, which is pretty cool. They told me there had been one previous owner, that was true. They told me it was a commuter vehicle, explicitly claiming it was not a work truck. The first time time I washed it, a business logo appeared on the back windows. It can only be seen in certain light, with a thin layer of moisture applied. But, it does seem like it was, in fact, a work truck. Next up, come time around a year after purchase. Paint on hood, bumper and above wheels faded. The paint does not appear to be original on these parts. Lost their shine. I would speculate they aren't even the original parts. I do not know the details, but reviewing the carfax I see the vehicle was partially rebuilt just before the ownership transferred from the original owner to Charlton. But they did not mention that. Did they not know? Or did they just lie to me?. I guess when the dealer tells you something to your face, you have to check the carfax and not trust what they tell you. But I did not know that. I was young and naive (still am maybe). Thirdly, the salesman mentioned he had been driving the vehicle personally prior to the sale. I would rather not know that the salesmen drive around in the vehicles until they are sold. That kind of taints the experience, eh? Fourthly, when going over financials, the salesman asked how I made my money and complimented my salary. Next, he bragged that he, in fact, made more money than I did. Well, good for him. Not quite so professional, huh?

Had to return to get my vehicle inspected as they could not do it at sale time as the vehicle had an issue they did not fix. When using their finance they will tell you 2 hard hits which became 3 hard hits to the credit report after I was clear I would not accept more than 2. Response: Thats what happens. Did not complete the work they were supposed to do and agreed to do. The vehicle had a check engine light at purchase time, they replaced an O2 Sensor and said it was fixed. 19 miles later the light came back on. In a txt message they replied "Looks like we will have to replace the catalytic converter" They knew it was bad and tried to get away with it. I returned the vehicle and they sent it to the Manufacturer dealership for repair under factory warranty. A review of the Huffines Dealership will be separate from this one as Huffines was horribly slow. They were supposed to replace the trailer wiring that had been cut and install a replacement wiring harness for a 4 prong trailer connector. The sales guy said Yes it is right under here. Went to hook up my trailer and got under to find it.. Not there.. I just ordered myself a 7 to 4 adapter so as not to go back to this place. Not a big deal but why lie about it. What else did they lie about I wonder. During the time my new vehicle was in the dealership Charlton provided a loaner car. This car smelled of cigarette smoke so bad I could not sit in it. They did not have another and asked me to Febreeze the car. Seriously I can show you the txt message on this. So that sat outside not being used as the stench was horrendous. Maybe this was a horrid sales guy, maybe a one off occurrence but frankly I would say to go somewhere else when looking based on my experience.

Purchased a GT-B Legacy that just had a fuel pump done at this shop. Car instantly went into limp…read moremode. Running VERY rich. I called Ivan to ask what pump he installed in the car, I was told "our universal turbo car 340lph pump". This is bone stock legacy with a 2.0 engine. Needless to say the fuel overloaded the factory regulators like they weren't there and despite going into limp mode the ecu couldn't save it and the fuel washed the rings. The oil pan is full of gas and the car is hurt. I didnt have the car a full 24 hours and its seriously injured. Why they decided a 340 lph fuel pump was smart instead of looking at the factory regulator specs is beyond me. These cars are totally over whelmed at anything past 255lph. The fuel returns cannot flow it. So a simple fuel pump job has taken my otherwise pristine JDM legacy off the road and left me walking.
