Great staff especially Dimitri. We needed a harness for our little chihuahua rescue and Dimitri dropped what he was doing and tried the various sizes of harnesses on our little dog to make sure we had the correct size. Then he fitted the harness on our dog to make sure he couldn't wiggle out of it. Dimitri and staff are excellent and the prices were reasonable considering we were in Carmel. read more

The selection of toys, chews, collars, and everything else to spoil your fur baby lives here! There is so much to choose from here that you can spend lots of time browsing. We got some collagen chews for our doodle that he absolutely adored. Sales staff goes out of their way to help you and makes excellent suggestions. Daisy and parents had SO much fun in Diggidy Dog. Meeting Demetrius was a big plus. He took time to walk us around; help Daisy with doggy shades; and encouraged we try clothes and items on to make sure they fit well. We also went in at the perfect time to find great priced Halloween outfits. Their customer service is over the top. Guests are welcomed in, given attention while visiting and spoiled with treats. We bought Daisy a new harness and a sweater but some of the items we wanted were a bit small and we couldn't find the right size. Hopeful, next visit we find her right size. read more

Cute place! Well stocked with not easily found goodies for your puppy. My dog loved it. Everyone here is super friendly too.

Staff was supper friendly and gave my pooch treats and let us try on a couple of the outfits before we decided what we wanted.

We were eating nearby and decided to go for a walk downtown. We saw a bunch of dogs outside and thought we might as well check this place out. A boutique, for dogs! There is a ton of variety of shirt, sweaters, costumes, treats etc here and we found ourselves spending a decent amount of money with a smile still on our face. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even as busy as it was we still felt like our interactions were genuine and we didn't have any questions left so that felt good to know we were appreciated as customers. I also wanna add that the snacks are impossible for your doge to hate. Our little pup doesn't like eat every type of dog treat we've given him but he went crazy over all of the ones we brought from here. Definitely coming back and loading up the cart. Did this store get a new owner since the last time I was here? (8 months ago) Went in yesterday and it is was messy and unorganized. The photography studio area was gone and replaced with misc merchandise shelving and piles of messy sweatshirts and misc crammed on the shelves in no particular order. I loved seeing the medal winning surf dogs sitting in there whenever so would go and they were not there. It just feels different. Still a nice store but hoping it stays that way. read more

They were out if a certain treat for our pup and he immediately explained the out of stock reason due to how these were made and offered to ship to our home since we live out of town from store. I called him to order and all was handled quickly, friendly, professionally, and arrived to us in short time. A great store to visit if you have pets and are in Carmel. read more

We stopped by this cute store at Carmel on our weekend getaway from the city and it was such an adorable shop! Everyone in this store was very friendly and ready to answer any questions we had about dog goodies. Our doggo even got treats twice from the workers. They sadly did not have the shoe size we were looking for for our Border Collie. We ended up getting something else instead. Regardless, this is a cute store to stop by if you are in Carmel, with extremely nice and helpful staff, and lots of dog goodies for your furry friend. Sadly, our bigger doggo isn't the friendliest so we had to leave him in the car. Maybe one day he'll be able to step into this cute store with his "sister". read more

Such a cute store with lots of treats and accessories for pets. We loved seeing all the different breeds of pups coming into the store. They even have a dress up station for your dog with so many adorable cool things to choose from. The owner is very nice. We got to speak with her for awhile about our pup and her store. The only situation that gave us a bad taste was with the cashier as we were paying for our items, a couple who happens to be from another country decided she wanted to keep looking around but then as soon as we got to paying she decided she was now ready to pay for her items and the cashier dismissed us and said "oh I'm going to help them first" which we felt was very rude and could've been handled differently. Having them wait back in line behind everyone else would've been fair to everyone else waiting. We may visit again just for the owner being very kind and engaging with customers and pups. read more

My family and I came here to buy a leash and a harness for my pup since we had forgotten to pack that before we left for our family trip to Carmel. When you enter, there are doggy treats by the door on the right hand side. They have a wonderful variety of items: leashes, harnesses, toys, treats, clothing; they even have a professional photo studio set up! The lady that helped us was super nice. When we were trying out harness sizes on our dog, she told us we could put him up on the table that they had designated for that purpose. We were relieved because it was way easier to put the harness on him from there compared to on the floor since he kept trying to smell everything. Be sure to stop by this lovely, unique place for all dog and cat items related. read more

What a cute little shop to pick up goodies for your beloved canine! The layout of the store is extremely inviting. Tons of toys to choose from and the quality of these toys appears to be high! Furthermore, at the entrance of the store, there's a huge bowl of treats to keep your dog(s) occupied as you peruse. The lovely ladies that work here are extremely helpful and for Fourth of July, they were offering 15% off storewide. Also for checking into Yelp, 15% coupon was provided though you're unable to stack the two. Anyhow, walked away with couple of toys, I will update to see how they hold up! May add an extra if it holds up as these toys weren't cheap! read more

Located in the downtown area, this is cute store for doggos! We were greeted with a friendly welcome and a "would your dog like a biscuit?" Already...a winner in my book. The store has a ton of fun things for dogs. With lots of dog toys, a variety of dog chews and treats and a cute selection of doggie apparel, this is a sweet boutique for your dogs. I liked the layout with toys, treats, beds and other novelty items in one area, and apparel, collars, harnesses and a "fitting table" in another area. We walked away with a few packages of dog treats, a dog chew, a new harness, a cute raincoat and two new dog toys. You'll pay a little more than your average "big box" store and ordering through Amazon, but the items were appropriately priced for the downtown Carmel area...plus, it's always good to support a small local business. Most importantly, our little pup was very happy in there...that counts for a lot. read more

I was excited to stop by this store since that meant I could spoil my brother's fur babies once I return home. Stopped by on Monday, Memorial Day, and they had a few sales going on for some of their clothing items as well as a general discount for the holiday. One side of the store was mainly for toys and treats for your fur friend and the other side had some clothes and bags to carry your pets in. I ended up getting one squeaky toys, two bags of treats, one large cookie bone, and some dog ice cream. One of the workers actually held my squeaky toy for me at the register since she saw that my hands were full from carrying other purchases I made at other stores. Yesterday we ditched work. It has been raining in the South Bay for days and was still gloomy outside so we grabbed the pup, hopped in the vehicle and drove down the coast in search of blue sky. By lunchtime we were in Carmel-by-the-Sea with 60-degree, sunny weather. After a meal we wandered Ocean Avenue, picking up a few things for home. Our puppy was in her element. She loves walks and exploring, greeting strangers and meeting their doggies. When we arrived at the door of Diggidy Dog her enthusiasm went from ten to eleven. Diggidy Dog is a canine-focused boutique filled wall-to-wall with fun stuff for your pupperino. There are lots of treats, toys and clothes for doggos of all breeds and sizes. They also have a portrait studio with various photo packages available including framing. The shop was quite busy this particular day and full of lots of dog lovers and their furry companions. Our pup loves pet stores because she knows they are all about her and she went from dog to dog, greeting them all, sniffing all the treat buckets and looking at all the stuff she could possibly have. Although they were really busy there was plenty of helpful staff on hand. One offered CoCo a treat when entering the store. Another fetched a sweater in her size when we didn't find it on the table. Checkout was quick and efficient. Prices are on the high side, but that's what to expect when shopping in paradise. Our first experience was great. The items were all unique enough that I think it justifies picking up a thing or two every time we're in the area. For CoCo, Diggidy Dog is the dog diggidy. read more

This is a fabulous dog boutique with a wide array of doggie delights. Expensive? You bet. We spent $24 for a tiny bag of Wild Meadow Chicken dog treats-our girl is well worth it. We tried to buy other loose treats but they have a bag you fill for $12, can't purchase unless you fill the whole bag; too much for our small pup so we passed. We always stop here for their glitzy dog collars, warmups, snacks and everything you can imagine for our lucky canines. Highly recommend! read more

5 Stars for Sandy and her outstanding customer service and care!!! It was my first time back to this store in 8 years. I drove over 2 hours to get here as I was treating my pup to a day out and picking up some things for him and our new fur baby. I have just recently lost my other pup and remember how great this shop was with xxs and xs small sizes for little guys. It appears a couple years ago they switched owners (which I could tell based off brands and style of collars etc) but I still love the spot and what they have to offer. Sandy and I quickly connected over what I was looking for and my recent puppy passing story. She helped me find all I needed (and more) and by the time I left I was already telling her I would see her in a few weeks! You CAN teach an old dog new tricks! My poodle Murphy is almost 12 and half-blind, and he got disoriented and lost for a few minutes on Carmel Beach and it scared him (and us). I never thought I'd be one to carry my dog in a backpack but, he wants to go everywhere and he can't keep up with the pack anymore for long walks, especially in sand. We stopped by Diggidy Dog - A Dog & Cat Boutique and found this really cool @k9sportsack. He absolutely loves it! My girlfriend bought one too and her dog (Murphys cousin) was so happy in it he fell asleep on the way home. Shout out to this awesome sales lady who taught us all about it and the big table covered by a yoga mat in the shop. It made it easier to get him in it and comfortable and realize that this is a good thing. Now, Murphy won't have to miss out on all our adventures. Diggidy Dog indeed that I found this pet store during my weekend retreat in Carmel. It's Top Diggidy +'s: + Product variety. From dog shampoo to leashes, collars, harnesses, beds, toys, treats, and PJs, Diggidy Dog did not disappoint my two pups who sauntered right into the store to do their exploration. + Quality goods. My pup had the itches from running in all the sand at the nearby beach. We needed a shampoo to relieve her from all the sand caught in her fur. The aloe and oatmeal shampoo by a reputable brand did the trick. + Tasteful clothing. Raincoats with rubber duckies, hippos, or bumble bees?! I wanted them all. They come in all sizes. Don't forget to check the PJs and Diggidy Dog's own brand. + Great space. Plenty of room for patrons and their dogs to inspect all the goods. During times of a pandemic, the extra space was very welcomed. + Good practice of health. Wear your mask please. Sanitizer also available at the counter. + Friendly and helpful staff. They were very helpful in answering a number of questions I had about my dog. It's not so Diggidy -'s: - It's hit or miss sometimes when you are searching for a size. Not all the PJs or raincoats had all sizes available. - Side note that I will 100% support privately owned businesses over large public corporations if the mark-up is slight. But I did find one of the items marked up $22 higher than another seller. That's significant and hard to ignore. I ended up buying it at DD because I wanted to support the store but next time not sure I can keep affording to do so. read more
