They said brakes were dangerously in need of replacement and catalytic converter was 'trending down' and would need replacement. Jaeckels inspected the vehicle and reported that the brakes had at 20k before they even needed to be looked at and, as I suspected, the catalytic converter was fine and you can't test them to rate as trending down. I appreciated the honesty and the integrity to give the facts when we would have been accepting of brake jobs and been unaware they were not needed now. The dealership put my daughter in a state of fear because they said the brakes were so bad they were unsafe. She even postponed a trip until we could get them taken care of. Jaeckels has earned my future business and my respect for their business practice. I recommend Jaeckels without hesitation.

I showed up on time for my appointment, only to be told that I did not have an appointment scheduled. They offered to try to squeeze me in, but then told me they would not perform the free rotation because there was some wear on my front tires. I was also told that when I originally purchased the tires, I had declined an alignment. I want to clarify that I did decline the alignment, but only because I had already been sitting there for well over two hours when I purchased the tires and simply could not wait any longer. This was not because I did not want the service. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have experienced this type of treatment, particularly when it comes to services that are supposed to be free under the tire warranty. I have repeatedly watched other customers who arrived after me get taken care of while I continued waiting. I have been a customer here for years, and my family members have also purchased tires from your store. However, after this experience, I will no longer be returning. I purchased these tires with the understanding that they came with certain warranty services, including free rotations. Being told that the store would not provide that service--especially after I had called ahead and arrived for what I believed was a scheduled appointment--is extremely disappointing and unacceptable. I hope management will review what happened and address how these warranty services and appointments are being handled. Longtime customers should not have to repeatedly deal with these kinds of issues.

Checked the battery. Added some gas, because we were low. Nothing. They suggested we tow it to Pat's. I called, and he said to bring it in. Alex helped us right away and told us he would get somebody on it, so we could be on our way. We had a view from the rather clean office, and it wasn't looking good. Tech kept working, and he was able to find the problem. Had to get a part from Ford. They sent a guy over to pick it up, so they could get it fixed quickly. And they did at a cost that seemed very reasonable. We were off. Not the way we intended, but it could have been way worse. These guys were quick and efficient.
