What an amazing experience! Guzal, was very gentle and courteous. She talked me through the steps and placement of my hand since I never did a Russian manicure prior. She was terrific, and took care of my cuticles thoroughly. The environment is very cozy and clean. The staff is very welcoming. I started coming here and fell in love how Kama did my nails ever since the start MY APPOINTMENTS were always with her.(I DONT LIKE CHANGE). Kama left in February. On MAY 15, 2025 I got my nails done by Aigerim and a week later I had lifting and a broken nail which never used to happen before. I've been to DidiNails for about 4 times even before they moved their location, by recommendation of a few of my girlfriends. Our friends rave about the work here. The nail artists there are incredibly sweet, super attentive, and they're beyond clean. They're super meticulous about sanitizing all instruments and desks. Their work is fabulous, amazing, and creative. Their new location is convenient, just a block away from the train station and it's much bigger and brighter. Lots of windows and great energy there, plus, they have more artists now and can do both mani + pedi at the same time. My only qualm is that every time that I've gotten my nails done there, my cuticles have been cut on multiple fingers. On my third time, I was bleeding profusely (I'm healthy, no preexisting conditions, and not on any medications at all). I had to call out sick from work to heal because as a nurse, I work with my hands and I'm constantly washing them or applying gel sanitizer, which is probably why I am so sensitive. It would burn to just wash them. I had my fourth appointment last week with Didi, my first time with her. I asked if there was any way to avoid cutting my cuticles' with scissors as I've bled profusely and been cut on many fingers. She did explain they were known for removing the cuticles, "That's why clients come here," she states sharply and agreed to just use cuticle bits/buffer to shave them down. Thank god! However, I'm not too sure if she got impatient (I've only had 3 cuticles left by now to shave), but she decided to just cut the rest, and lo and behold, I'm cut again. I had my wedding elopement at City Hall the following day so it definitely sucked that I was cut. They do amazing work and practice safety thoroughly so I will still continue to recommend. However, I do suggest if you have sensitive or small cuticles, avoid or be very diligent about telling them to use the bits to remove the cuticle. read more

The staff is very friendly and the inside of the salon is super cute. My nails were done by Shevy and she was 10/10. Her sweet and friendly personality just added to the service. I got my nails done there for the first time on Aug 19th. By the time it was Aug 21st my left index finger was very swollen, inflamed and hurting so bad. I was also unable to close my finger entirely. I went to the doctor and the doctor said either their tools were not sterilized properly or they cut the skin in a bad way. You could see the inflammation building up under my skin. I know my finger was swollen due to them doing my nails because I didn't do anything other than my daily routine nor did I cut my finger myself. When I messaged them to let them know about my finger they said their "technician do not remember cutting you"... of course she doesn't, why would she want to take responsibility for this? the tech that did my nails was Rushana. The nail polish on the right hand ring finger also chipped within 6 days. That was the first and last time I'd ever go there. If you're thinking of going there I'd highly rethink that. In the pictures I shared you can see my left index finger as compared to the right index finger is very swollen and in some pics you can even see the inflammation from under the cuticle. Update 8/28/21: There were no cameras in the area where I got my nails done. There are cameras in the entrance area, not in the back room where my nails were done. Rushana also used the very small scissors to cut my cuticles off. I will not take the offer to get my nails done there again. There is no way to make this right and the fact that you came on here and lied makes it worse. If you have the camera footage from that day, share it and let's see what tool she used to take off my cuticles. If you can't share the video then take a still picture of the video. As for my previous nail tech, this issue never occurred there and I even told Rushana that I hadn't gotten my nails done in the last 3-4 months, so my previous nail tech had nothing to do with this issue. It's 100% the fault of your nail salon. Update: 8/29/21 I see that the camera is not in plain sight overhead like the other cameras installed at the front of the salon. I never said the pouch was not opened in front of me. I said that it's possible that the tools were not sterilized. Opening the package in front of me does not mean that the tools were not contaminated before they were put into the pouch. You also said before that there was no scissors or nail clippers used. Please upload the video footage of how she removed my cuticles. She pushed my cuticles back, used an e-file with different heads, then used the little cuticle scissors to cut them off. That process is also what you show in many of the Instagram videos that are uploaded. My cuticles were cut off, if she didn't use a scissors or a nail clipper can you tell me how she removed my cuticles then? I also know you were not there when I was getting my manicure done, so you were not there to see it. It was just me, Rushana, and Liz in the room during my manicure. Update: 8/31/21 Are you going to provide footage of when my cuticles were getting cut? Or the whole process if possible. read more

Please don't come here if you want to experience racism. First I will like to address that I was block for booking for writing an honest review addressing racism I experienced in the business. Varago, their booking site informed me the business blocked me from booking in the future. Instead of addressing the issue of racism, they just decided to block me from booking, which is okay because there's plenty of places that do a way better job then them for more affordable prices. To me that is big red flag, and different reporting it to the state board. My honest reviews tend to get a lot of attention on Google, so decided to share my review here. Instead of the business addressing the issue and trying to make things right, they just block me from using their services, which tells a lot. I went on varago and saw that I was actually block. It was funny to see, but also showed how my point of racism. I'm planning on writing my review on the BBB. I went in here for the first time this past weekend and at first the place was really hard to find, and I had to call the shop to see where exactly were located, because Apple Maps wasn't clear or much help. So the front desk person was nice enough to come outside to help find me. I ended up coming 30 minutes early for my appointment, so I decided to go out and come back. When I came back they saw me right away for my pedicure. The pedicure was good, didn't think it was 2 hours, but I wasn't in a rush. The junior nail tech seemed to pay attention to details, took their time, etc. not like a rushed $15 pedicure at most places. When I was done I went to go pay for my service. While waiting their was clearly this racist lady kept starring and looking at me! Like blacks people are not allowed to get serviced or something. That made me really uncomfortable, and makes me wonder if I should come back for that. I don't want to pay my hard earn money to experience a RACIST atmosphere, even if the racism is coming from other customers. I did see another black person there, so that racist lady looked very disappointed in seeing me as well. Overall I'm not sure if I'll be back because I don't want to pay my hard earn money to experience racism, there's plenty of black own mail places that perform the same pedicure techniques from what I've seen all over social media. It's a shame black people have to deal with uncomfortableness. I'm not experiencing racism of no kind of form when paying my hard own money. My black dollar can be put into my own community. Another thing I noticed when I went to pay the lady tried to charge me extra, she asked if I got a gel soak off, and first I was confused and said yes, and added it on to what I owed, then I realized what she said, and told her no, I did not come in with gel on my toes to soap off. Plus I would've booked mg appointment. And she asked me did I got a manicure, clearly I didn't because I only booked for a pedicure. Why are you asking me this to charge me any extra, I'm pretty sure you can see in your system that I only booked tor a pedicure. I thought that was weird and was her trying pull one over at me. I was not going to pay for additional services I didn't do or book for. I don't know if she saw me as a target to scam, to charge more. It just felt weird. I noticed the racist customer was still looking at me so I recorded and took her picture, since she wanted to attention and starred so bad. She looked away when I put up my phone, a complete racist that made me feel very uncomfortable and not sure if I should go back. I don't want to pay any money to experience death stares and racism. And lastly when I do try out a new solan I will definitely informed them about this business about my experience. As black person our words and impact does matter. Since we set the tone on what's in style and what's not. I dont want to pay to experience racism. I'll be sure to be sharing my review on other platforms.
