He wasn't trying to hock his most expensive pair, though; he showed me what was on the wall and then the massive clearance rack, which had a remarkable selection. Their prices were already lower than Dick's, and the selection was solid. I settled on a pair of Pumas that were well below my price range with a great fit. Bottom line is that you're getting solid selection from knowledgeable staff for low prices. I can't think of a way to beat that.

When I called back the next day, I was told confirmation was never provided and they haven't started a repair. Kim, the manager, provided no value or remedy for the situation. I'll make every attempt to avoid spending a dollar with Dick's Sporting Goods again.
