Nope. Horrible customer service. I pressed the button for help and was ignored by their sales associates. I couldn't find what I was looking for and had a question. I tried on some garments and went to get another size and came back to find the fitting room locked. When I pressed the button no one responded. Sales associates stand around talking to each other. Walked out of the Sports Authority a couple of blocks away because I couldn't find anyone to help me out. Headed over to Dicks for the first time ever. Great experience. Very large selections, very clean store, great service. I was in and out in 10 minutes. I recommend Dicks over Sports Authority any day. read more

I love any sporting good store... so many fun items. With that said...... I actually came in for this particular visit, to return a pair of shoes that I bought on their online store, since they were too tight; possible manufacturer defect. I went ahead and ordered the same pair ( they are so pretty and are my favorite model), but had to order in the store with a store associate since they don't carry that shoe to get free shipping, which I originally had in my first order. In addition, to make the story more complicated, I originally had 15% off the shoes, they gave me a print out to get 15% off, but it was only good for store purchase within 3 hrs. The lady attending to me in the front sent me to the back shoe section to order the shoes, their computer system was down and no one at the moment could attend to me. They told me to wait till someone got off their break and then sent me to the hunting section, in which a young man took my order. Very nice and patience good man. When I realized my credit was $90 with change, the amount owed was approx. $110, and the coupon provided was not valid, he called a manager through their ear set- they said no, but I asked for the manager to come and speak to me. He realized it made no sense I would pay more for the same shoes i just returned, and guided the young man to chat online with Dick's customer service; they provided a code and voila - new shoes should be delivered to my house at same price 50 minutes later..... pffffff. Mission completed, but since I had to stay with the people the whole time, they finished after closing time and I couldn't explore the store. My friend gave me a gift card and I want to spend it.... oh well, will have to come back another day.....or maybe shopping online won't be so complicated . read more

Very average store. Trying to get an employee to help can be difficult as employees here tend to either not care or have very little to no idea what they are talking about. There are plenty of top brand merchandise to get gouged over though. read more

This has got to be the worse store every time I come hear they seem to lack employees . Like is always a mission to find someone to help you . I tried to buy a utility bench and they didn't have it only the one that was on the floor so I was like ok I have a car and it will fit in the back can you wrap it . I waited 10 minutes before someone helped me in the fishing section. Once someone showed up, I asked him about the live bait and he responded what we have is in the fridge. I said the fridge was empty and he replied , oh I guess we didn't get a shipment. So I reluctantly grappled some fake bait, when I got to the register it didn't have a price. It took 15 minutes for them to get the price! I complained to Dicks online and they replied "we'll speak to the manger". Avoid if possible! read more

Came here with the guys because I found that I had a gift card that I hadn't used in a while and must say that it was hard to get some service in here. The woman who scanned my card seemed to have seen much better days and the staff were in la la land doing their own thing talking to each other. Typical south florida right? Anyways, I did enjoy being left alone to walk around and see what I want. Wide selection and prices are a little on the high side, but what sports store isn't nowadays. Came in for a pop up canopy not one associate stopped to help they walked right by. Went back to shoes I was looking for a specific kind. The three associates in the department stood together and chatted no offer of help! There was no one else shopping in the dept. I finally went over to them and interrupted their chat. Purchasing shoes was a nightmare. It took forever. One guy working and was going crazy. Every shoe requested was out of stock. I think he was just tired and said that so he wouldn't have to go search. It would be better if the store had all of the shoes out and customers find their own shoes. Very disappointed in the employee's attempt at customer service. I went in to buy a bike for my daughter and he had no interest in helping. He didn't even take the bike off the rack for her. He gave one word answers only if I brought up something and when he was out of stock he didn't bother mentioning how to order more. My first visit to dicks. I was looking for swim trunks for my son. Now let me start by saying this place is huge. Very impressive. It is so well organized and categorized by sport. Being my first experience lets just say I was very impressed. A welcoming good morning as I walked in the door. Every store associate said hello, how are you? Can I help you? I mean every store associate meaning at least 5. I can tell you that this would never happen at the other sporting goods store. Keep up the great work! Ever since the end of Sports Authority, I came to this store a couple of times and to be honest, the store does have a few extras compared to the shut down store. Sadly there was no skateboarding equipment to browse, which is a shame since I wanted to buy my brother his first longboard. Staff is a bit hard to identify but not a huge issue. I went in looking for a kayak after speaking to George, one of their kayak associates. He was knowledgeable about the products and was very understanding towards my budget and concerns. I asked the manager of the store his opinion and he specifically told me he would never buy the kayaks I am interested in prior to asking me my needs in buying one as well as the reason of size of the ones I was choosing from. He recommended one over 200 more than my budget and wasn't as pleasant as I would have expected someone wanting to make a sale. The name on the outside of the store tells you exactly what you are going to find on the inside. I went looking for some new marlins gear but ended up finding a bunch of dicks. As we walk in, two staff members are having a conversation in the doorway and look at my wife and I like we are interrupting them when WE greet THEM. We wander around the store for about 10 minutes, seeing the occasional young staff member shooting by at the end of an aisle but unable to get someone to point us in the right direction for Miami Marlins stuff. We finally find it ourselves, and the selection was dismal at best. One type of jersey in one color and a couple of different t-shirts in sizes up to large. My wife chooses a shirt and needs to try it on... No one is anywhere to be found again. This wasn't an issue for us because I'm a locksmith and I just opened the door for her... This didn't attract any employees either... Maybe if I was a hot 20 year old chick looking for some new workout shorts I would have been able to get some help. Never been more dissapointed with a store I have bought so much from. Im a coach for multiple sports teams with 3 kids at home. I switched from sports authority to Dicks. Bought my first pair of under armor sneakers and one of the bottom panels blew out in 3 days. Store manager said we do not stand behind our products you will have to return it to the manufacturer. Item was "in stock" not "limited stock" on their website and available for store pickup but because they didn't have it available on the floor they denied the sale. They said it normally takes 24 hours to restock the floor and they don't check for inventory in the storage room. With that said they lost a customer! read more
