Sports headquarters!!!! Not only that but they have other outdoor goods too! Here they have a wide selection of Stanley and Yeti cups and tumblers! They're all color coordinated and organized. The guy in the shoe department was very helpful, nice and had manners. His mama raised him well! Only downside is you cannot push your cart through any of the aisles. It's so tight and cluttered. I couldn't shop, looking for clothes without bumping my cart everywhere. Watch for the prices, even when they say it's on sale, you're likely to get a better deal elsewhere, but this place is good if you need something right away. read more

I went into the store today to pick up a couple items one was kind of big and bulky waited quite a while finally got a sales associate and asked if somebody could help me waited another 12 minutes the guy showed up I said I wanted this item he disappeared for another 12-13 minutes and then showed up brought it to the front went to get cashed out he said bring the car to the front and we'll load it for you okay so I did I stood outside for over 10 minutes went inside and grabbed it myself that's ridiculous I'm glad my wife didn't pick it up it was very heavy you guys got a lot of work to do in that store all those Associates walking around not even asking if they can help read more

I had major surgery on my right foot and my surgeon suggested I purchase Brooks footwear. Still needing the same major surgery on my left foot I needed a good supportive pair of Brooks. On 5/12/25 I ran into your store to try some on. Susan approached me to see if she could help me. I told her my needs of a good pair of brooks and about my surgery. Susan took me to the brooks and asked questions ! Susan showed me the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 24. To say the least they where great and felt good . Susan also suggested Superfeet insole which also felt great. I've been in retail for 45 years and 90% if it was mgmt. I can't tell you how impressed I was with Susan! Great location, and such a big store, with LOTS of options! But the staff in the shoe department wasn't friendly, nor helpful. I'd be shocked if they worked on commission. The young lady who helped me with shoes, oh wait, she didn't.... I sought her out, only for her to come back 3 times and say "sorry, we don't have that size." Awful experience with this store and several others in California and Tennessee over the past year. After raisIng 3 kids, coaching all their sports teams, buying equipment and apparel for those teams at Dick's for years, my wife and I just went through a horrible experience at multiple Tennessee stores. I even escalated my concerns to their CEO, Ed Stack and didn't get a satisfactory resolution. This store was horrible to deal with, items ordered were for the wrong university after ordering it twice through them with an assurance it was resolve. Turns out their wherehouse management systems(skews) where not associated with the right apparel. Virtually everyone we encountered was awful and the antithesis of what serving a customer means. After spending thousands oof dollars at Dick's over the past 20 years, I've just spent my last dollar here and will tell everyone I can about how horrible they are to deal with Now! Definitely not the company I dealt with starting 20 years ago. They have lost their way in a big way from the way they used to treat their customers. New golf shoes WERE NOT on my radar but these simple black/white QUESTAR Rise were at such a good price and correct size I couldn't pass up the opportunity. I wear wide but medium was what was offered...and when I put them on I forgot they were Medium. Not only did they fit... they were soft and I never slipped once on our saturated fairways. Store is huge. They have supplies for every sport and outdoor activity. We went there to get some running shoes. Wanted to get my daughter some shoes as well. She is a size 12 and they had nothing in her size that we liked. We were able to find something for ourselves though. I will just buy my daughter's shoes online. It was hard to find someone to help us at first. Once we found someone they were very attentive and helped us find the sizes we needed. read more

My son decided he wanted to play baseball so we headed to Dicks to get him geared up. I didn't realize that they actually had bats in the 100's of dollars range lol. For his first year I decided to go with a 80 dollar bat, that way if he decided he didn't like the sport I wasn't out 100s of bucks. The salesman was nice, and he did not pressure me to make a purchase that I did not want to make. He made sure he was able to swing the bat, fit the glove, etc. He took his time with us and was very kid friendly. I will definitely return back here when my son decides to pick up another sport. read more

I finally spent some money and purchased a real set of golf clubs and took people's advice and went to Dicks for a fitting. I had a gift card and thought it would be all gone because I wanted all my clubs done right. Dave measured me from my wrists to where I hit the ball on a plate. He is very informative and knowledgeable. I was waiting to hear the costs to get my clubs done, and he said, no, everything is good. We could bend your heads if it is ok with Callaway, but nothing for now. He took the head of my driver off and after looking at the computer and doing some math. He changed the settings on the cog. I hit some more straight shots and was like mmmmmmm. I went to the real range and put the driver to the test. It was amazing. I hit over 50 balls with my driver and maybe hit 1 to 3 total left or right. Dave fixed my drive and did not charge me one thing. I dont trust a word from any car mechanic because of previous expereinces. Dave could have "fibbed" and said I needed them all redone. Great customer service, great advice, and i'll be back for sure. read more

Went today to purchase some shoes for my son. Found what we wanted and even on sale. Went to check out and they rang up higher than the sale price. Asked the cashier to please price check and they are on sale. She Called back to shoes and person claimed they checked and they were not in sale..?? I had my 7 year old and my 20 month old with me and told her that I would check myself. Had to walk back to shoes, take the shoe with the same advertisement I'd told them about and take back up front. Now I'm told my card was already run through and I would have to wait to get refunded and then billed again. ??? Waited almost 15 minutes before finally having to remind them I was there and I expected a refund. If my son didn't need shoes badly I would have walked out and gone elsewhere. I give two stars because the shoes were a good deal and there was a nice selection. As far as service, there was none. Dick's has plenty of business so missing mine will be no big deal. read more
