My husband and I went here twice now, this time for a tent for him. The first time was to look and see if they had bows and arrows. Which they don't. This is the closest Dicks Sporting Goods near us. It's really small, considering it's connected to Sunrise Mall. Which this mall has been closed for sometime now. This location is also only one floor. It's nice, if you don't want to deal with crowds. I'm positive it has everything else that a Dicks Sporting Goods has. read more

this is my second time going to this store and it's good place to go if you're into sports. they have all kinds of teams jackets and jerseys for all the professional sports teams. if you're into camping or fishing they have plenty of stuff for your needs, and getting checked out moves pretty fast. I will definitely be going back for my fishing and camping equipment. read more

Huge location. I came here looking for paintball equipment but I didn't see any. I however saw basically every other piece of equipment they sold and they pretty much have everything covered. Great selection of shoes also so I will be considering this place to purchase some shoes/boots in the future. I also like that they had a vast selection of fishing equipment. read more

Came in to return a pair of sweatpants, and the young girl at the register told me since it was an online order she would have to return it and exchange it. and come to find out I have to pay more than I spent all because she rung me up on a register that "doesn't have access to exchange online orders". she should have told me that from the beginning instead of agreeing with me when I asked her will it be the same price. Hit or miss most of the time. Young kids whom cannot help with stringing a fishing reel. But at least it's close to the house.

My second visit with the store manager Ken proved even more why he shouldn't be managing any store let alone a massive store like this. He told me if I can prove I paid a certain price of an item from another Dicks Sporting goods with a receipt he would match it. When I then went to my car and got the receipt he said he wouldn't honor it and admitted he is going back on his word. What type of manager does that? The difference was only 1$ to that he wouldn't match. He wouldn't match Eastern Mountain Sports, Mountain House and other big companies as well. I go shopping at every single Dicks on Long Island and MASSAPEQUA store is the only one out of them all that refuses to price match. I'd never go back there again, unless they get new management. read more

The employees at DICK'S today were so helpful and patient in the midst of holiday bustle and I appreciate them so much. I wish I got their names so I could properly shout them out. I tried to buy ammo for my fiancé for Christmas and my future sister in law gave me some information to work with. Two employees helped me search for the right ammo but we needed to know a little more to get the exact right ammo. They both started searching the internet with me to figure out which was correct. I appreciate that in the middle of the busiest time of year they were helpful and didn't make me feel rushed. read more

Has everything you could need for anything athletic or outdoors at a reasonable price. Also check out the clearance racks, always have some good clothes for really cheap! Friendly staff as well, might take a little while letting you I to the fitting rooms but really good experience. read more

Today I wanted to order some jeans in the store because they weren't in my size. I went to the front and the lady working sent me to the back because "she was the only one up there". I turn around to find no one else in line. I walk to the back and I get there and the man says "we can't order back here, you'll have to go up front". Still no line in the back either but he walks me to the footwear section at least. The guy at footwear asks the other guy to do it although he is clearing not doing anything himself. I tell the guy in footwear that I want to order the pants and he tried to convince me to pick the item up in Huntington (not in my direction at all). He finally finds the pants online and tells me to go in front of the computer and type all my information in myself. He preceded to do nothing but stand around. Then another customer comes up to me as I am standing in front of the computer asking for help. I clearly state, "I don't work here."But maybe I should because I was doing the job of the employee. The point is 3 employees were doing actually nothing and kept trying to send me around the store and pon me off on someone else. Terrible service. Not impressed one bit. read more
