We got great personalized service. They were so nice to my son. They even let him watch the holes get drilled. And feed the fish. And while I have zero idea of how much that should cost, it was only $25.

Another pro shop I've been to previously was condescending and not helpful at all. I will never go back there. I switched all of my equipment over to the interchangeable thumb system and all fit perfectly. Had an issue with my Dexter's and they resolved with the manufacturer. There were times when I asked what I thought were dumb questions because I'm not the best bowler and just didn't understand the tech or layout. (Older school bowler) I am always met with the personal one-on-one time explaining it and understanding no matter how busy it is. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. These folks in here are top notch!! My neighbor and I brought his GT Aggressor bike in with a…read moreseized bottom bracket. Now, of course Bike Doctor sells and services waayyy better bikes than a GT Aggressor, but we were not treated any differently than a customer bringing in a $5000 bike for service. We were quoted a 4 week turn around for service and if we wanted to just purchase the parts and make the repairs on our own, the parts would take about a week to arrive. So we agreed to purchase the parts and necessary tools. The guy rolled the bike to the back to get the part number so we could order them. Fast forward about 10 minutes, the mechanic comes out of the repair area with the bottom bracket in his hand, and he explains to us that there is nothing wrong with it, and if he puts it all back together and tightens it up we would be fine!! He told me to take a picture of the part number incase we have any issues in the future, and he would start putting it back together. Whoaaaa! So much for that 4 week wait time!!! About 35 minutes and $20 later my neighbor is walking out of the store with his repaired bike and a HUGE smile. I will definitely be patronizing this bike shop for all of my cycling needs, and I will be encouraging others to do the same. Thank you very much Bike Doctor!!! ‍‍‍

Had a great experience the first time we bought our kids their bikes here. So when the kids outgrew…read moretheir first bikes, we came back again. This time, we needed helmets too. The rep fitted our kids with their helmets which cost 75 each. I don't know anything about bikes or helmets or fit, so I bought what she said was right. We started using them. About three weeks later, someone points out that my son's helmet is too small, doesn't cover his forehead. I decided to trust Croft on bike doc people since they must know what they are doing. A few days later someone else says the same thing. So I call them...wondering if they can reevaluate. This is an expensive helmet, and my kids safety is paramount. Welp, they said I was a few days outside of their 30 day return/exchange window. Wouldn't budge. Looks like we'll be shopping for a helmet and our bikes elsewhere. Anyway, place doesn't correct mistakes, and too inflexible on such a small thing to keep a return customer happy and safe without charging them more money.

Old guy detour (includes some get off my lawn); YouTube is just fine, and we as a society can benefit from some of the material therein. However, there is sometimes a place for "experts", people who do a thing, who have trained, and prepared, and have the tools to achieve a correct outcome. There is nothing wrong with getting some tips for a minor problem, and (if you are a bit handy) taking the DIY route on something. However there are some things that we should leave to those who have trained, worked hard to acheive the skills to do a thing; governance, surgery, complex plumbing, electric, tree felling, bicycle derailleurs! I have the luxury of being able to leave work in the middle of a day on Friday. I called, they were available, we drove over, they took the bike right in. Had some pleasant conversation, they fixed it in 15 minutes ($20), and educated us [they always do]. We have been here 3 times now, and 3 times an absolutely 100% positive experience. This is a quality business, with capable caring folks. Good products/service/expertise isn't "cheap" it shouldn't be. This place cares about the work they do, they care about cyclists and they are an excellent resource. This is our new "go to".

When I broke my Gates Carbon Belt Drive on my Priority Current, I couldn't find someone to help me…read moreinstall a new one on my ebike. I ended up learning how to remove my rear wheel and install a new belt. However I had trouble reattaching the cable onto the internal gear. When Kevin started Terrapin Bicycles, he helped me a great deal with my Priority Current and getting a new motor for it. Years later, I remember his generosity. I called up the shop and nearing closing time, Brie, the bike mechanic said to come in and he'll help out. In 15 minutes, he'll got my bike in top shape. It's so important to find "your guy". Terrapin Bicycles is incredible in their service, knowledge, and relationship with the community. Thank the bike gods for them.

Mke was able to get things tuned up and fixed while I waited. His goal is to get you back on the trail. We have since bought 3 bikes from trail werks and get all our service done there. I turned my friends from Harrisburg Pa on to trail werks because Mike is an expert on shocks and suspension, The owner is also very involved with advocating for and building local mountain bike trail A real asset to the mountain biking community.

We had walked away from a large purchase that we had refunded after our unpleasant experience. My husband rarely post negative reviews but this purchase was different. The paddle boards were Birthday presents that I had purchased for my husband and oldest daughter. Within a couple of hours Karen had reached out to us. When we went to go pick up our kayak we were once again reminded why "buying local" is more than just a trendy phrase. The owner, as well as the people who work there went above and beyond to make sure that all of our questions were answered and that we had everything we needed (at ridiculously good price) to really enjoy our first kayak.
