December 11, 2025 decided to stop by Dickie's barbecue ordered chicken breast sandwich no sauce with delicious fries and pulled pork. No extra sauce with fries, we will provide it with excellent customer service by Kurtis and Liz. We appreciate you buying the extra mile. The food was delicious. I highly recommend this location. Will be back on Thursday or Saturday to enjoy your excellent customer service. Thank you again. They provided us with excellent customer service and the food was delicious. I really appreciate it. 3 Meat Plate: double sliced brisket and Polish Kielbasa

BBQ was fantastic. I got the 3 meat plate with a double portion of sliced brisket and Polish kielbasa. My sides were baked beans and loaded mashed potato with gravy. The place is clean and the service was great. Miss the old days of the pickles and ice cream. Took more than half the plate home so the wife will be happy :)

This our first time here. We came at almost closing ( 840pm) but the employee was really nice to accomodate and still help us with the food. We ordered a combo 2 for $29 ( only online) n got it to go since they almost close. The food came out hot and portion is generous, they gave a lot of meat and sides r delish. For a bbq chain this is really good quality. Fries r crispy n well seasoned, mac cheese was good, bbq sauce was delishhh. The toast was soft but crunchy at the same time, very buttery. The meat is so juicy and tender and soft fall off the bone type. I couldnt finish my plate in 1 go n i was pretty hungry! Definitely will be back again :) 9/10

Me and my wife came in at 8pm and ordered the Mac stack, wings and loaded fries and were met with friendly staff and great food, would recommend this place for anyone who likes good barbecue food like brisket, wings, or ribs, and wants a calm vibe. The sweet sauce is really good with brisket and Mac .

Absolutely delicious local bbq food! Please dont pass this up! The Brisket is tender and falls apart, the polish sausage has a great snap to it and the fried okra is delicious as well! I got to try the Turkey and Pulled pork and it did not miss, this food was cooked to near perfection! Will be coming here again!

I should of read the "don't go after 7pm" review, but I will NEVER go back. Being in the mood for brisket I thought I would satisfy my craving by going to my "neighborhood " Dickies.... Here is my review. I was just there ordered the brisket plate. Received nothing but FAT , there was only one edible piece. Also the Caucasian "friendly" guy gave me the creeps. My hubby and I were looking to get some Bbq and thought we'd try this place. The moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile by Kurt. We told him that this is our first time here and he gave us recommendations off the menu. We ordered the 3 meat plate. This is a very welcoming environment! Really clean, rustic environment. Food and service was great! The gentleman at the counter was patient while we looked at the menu and tended to us quickly and politely. My girlfriend and I got the meat plates. I got the 3 Meat Plate with Brisket (sliced), pulled pork, and smoked chicken with the sides of mac n cheese and fries. I loved every bite. The meats were nice and tender, plus their sauces pack a ton of flavor. I recommend trying any of the 5 options! I'm surprised this place is not busier, the food and service are great. I've tried to place three orders through GrubHub within the past two months and each one was canceled. I enjoy the food but it's frustrating that the business continues to cancel the orders. I thought the first time was an isolated incident so I tried again then my husband convinced me to try a third time...but, I'm done now. This has to be the nicest Dickey's I've been to. It's not only super clean, but the staff is awesome. They honored my request for lean cuts, unlike many other SoCal bbq places I've been to. The young man who helped me was super polite, & very accommodating. I struck up a small conversation as he prepped my food, & he was cordial along with being very astute. I wish I got his name so the owners can give him the recognition he deserves. Give that man a raise so you retain him. Help like that is hard to find! I was there the afternoon on Friday, same day as this review. Overall, great restaurant, great staff, great food. Dickey's needs to bring back the free ice cream, but I can't fault this place for that. I may need to make the drive up here more often. read more

Buyer Beware In case you hadn't noticed, Dickys is adding an additional charge to your bill called Renew/Recycle Program. I didn't see any notification in the store, so they're basically picking your pocket. The charge seems to vary based on your order. Had I known, I would have walked out. This is in addition to the price increases added to their food, but all restaurants have increased pricing. They are also adding 50cents, per container if you ask for extra BBQ sauce on Togo orders. At least I was told this at the register, at the time of payment. Consider bringing a small container and add additional sauce from the containers on the table. read more

I ordered on DoorDash and apparently they must've been out of something on my meal plate, because they decided to just refund the entire plate and not give me a meal...instead of actually trying to contact me and see if I wanted to swap it for something different. Along with that I had ordered a pound of chicken with no sauce for my husband who has stomach issues. It came covered in barbecue sauce. So I had no meal and he couldn't eat his meal. It turned out to be a great choice. The prices are very reasonable and food was excellent. The brisket was extremely tender and the tangy bbq sauce on the side was great. The Texas Toast was buttery and just the right thickness. Their brisket quesadilla was also quite appetizing and the portion was generous. We'll definitely consider coming back the next time we have another optometrist appointment in the area. The restaurant is located in a large strip mall that's quite busy but there is a lot of parking so no problems there. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself was very clean. They have a patio area next door if you want to take advantage of a sunny day. A good choice if you're in the area.

It was definitely not fresh (a dead giveaway was it was about 50% cold and 50% lightly warmed) pretty good indication that it came out of the refrigerator. It was also very dry and when I say "fell apart" it was more like crumbled apart. The one positive though was the mac & cheese! It was out of this world delicious, over the top amazing probably the best mac & cheese I've ever had. It was piping hot and cooked perfectly! I feel like it must've been a very off night for this restaurant, based on the majority of their reviews, I had very high expectations that it would be amazing. I was kind of bummed that it fell very short of amazing.

They said no, it's always been either rib eye or NY. Every single one of the many I'd had before were the same. This one was different. Even looked different, as if it had been run through a machine in an attempt to tenderize it. Didn't work! You could see through some parts kind of like the way a knitted scarf would look If you stretched it out and could see the holes in it. Anyway, the guy said, "You must have got a tough cut" or "bad cut". I can't remember exactly the wording. But then he just shrugged me off. No offer to fix the problem. I was hungry, I hadn't had breakfast, and it was obvious the guy didnt care, so I just went back to my table and ate the rest of the bread and fixings while gnawing off any edible meat from my horrible steak. $26 for a sandwich and fries. Not willing to spend that much and hope I get a good cut of meat. I'm done.

We ordered a family pack with two meats (BBQ ribs and beef brisket) from this location yesterday for lunch to host some guests and I'm extremely disappointed. I had ordered the same meal from another location before, and it was fantastic, but this time was a completely different story. The beef brisket was incredibly dry and tasted old, like it had been left over from the previous day. Despite specifically noting in my order not to overcook it, the brisket still turned out poorly. None of my guests enjoyed it, which was embarrassing since I was counting on it to be the highlight of our meal. The BBQ ribs were passable, but they didn't make up for how bad the brisket was. Overall, this experience was a big letdown, and I won't be ordering from this location again. If you're looking for quality brisket, I'd recommend trying another branch or restaurant entirely. read more

I hate leaving negative reviews because I have previously managed a business that received a lot of business due to our Yelp reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others of this location. I ordered two, two meat plates. The meat was dry to the point that my wife would not eat it. I got to my sides and the macaroni and cheese tasted like a campfire. It was scooped out of a pot on the stove that had charred residue all over the edges. It was inedible. I will be seeing if my dogs will eat it soon so that it doesn't go to waste. The only reason for 2 stars is that the manager, possibly owner, provided great customer service and even offered to help carry my food to my car. I would strongly recommend better product quality control if you hope to keep your customers and attract new ones. read more

I live/work near by and I enjoy Dickey's, but lately it's been ... a little slow (to put it in nice terms). The last time I went, I arrived when there weren't too many people (one or two in front of me), yet it took forever to get my to go order. I ordered the three meat plate, my sides were served and I had fully paid, before the kid had even started making my plate. Now, like I said, I do enjoy Dickey's, so one slow day wouldn't get to me, if this same kid hadn't messed up my order before. I ordered a sandwich WITHOUT CHEESE, I can not have dairy, and I swear when I got to my office there was EXTRA on there. stopped by last Friday and they were out of a lot of items by 6pm? For just opening shouldn't you be a little better prepared for people to come in? So what they did have was tri-tip so I got that with two sides and bread for $30. When I got home the entire tri-tip was burnt and dried out, less than a third of it was actually edible. The baked beans and mac n cheese were cold. What a waste of money. So if your packed and running out of items how does the tri-tip become so overcooked...makes no sense. Been wanting to try Dickies for quite awhile, since they opened one up by my work, just today realized there is one in Whittier got excited and FINALLY tried it and was not disapointed at all. The food was GREAT and so were the fixins cole slaw, mac&cheese and the yummy baked potato caserole. My friend and I shared the Rib plate and a 3 meat plate and we both left FULL and with lunch packed for the next day. The staff is AWESOME! Food is good as always. Dickies never disappoints. But their employees do. This guy right here is the worst. He's an asshole. No customer service at all. In a bad mood. Cleaning his mouth and spitting in the sink in the kitchen. Specially with what's going on right now. Covid-19. He's such a dick. He gives you a look like if you're an idiot. I'm extremely satisfied with my visit to dickey's. The workers are so friendly. And I'm very satisfied with johanne, Caesar, and Armando their service was immaculate. The brisket was perfect and their macN cheese was great. My favorite was the free ice cream. And the crushed ice. And it's also very clean and well put together there. First time we went, shortly after they opened it was really good, after that not so much. Now it's hit or miss if you get meat or just fat and gristle. I guess the owner doesn't let employees decide to trim meat, just give the customer whatever comes out of the wrapper. The prices are a little high for what you get, you are better off just going to a sit down restaurant. read more

To start off, We paid 71.89 for a Family pack of garbage. Poor customer service, The employees looked all pissed off taking our order with no smile on their face. Didn't get the warm welcome we deserved. The beef brisket was mostly all fat and little meat. I would never go back again and not recommend anyone eating here. Crap food way overpriced!! read more

We came back here again because we're in town for work and had a great visit here a few months ago. The staff here is so friendly. They're quick, too.
