Then when we came back, we were seated the waitress was extremely friendly and polite. She was on top of everything checking in. Do we need anything all the things that you want a server to do when you were at a restaurant. I ordered the chicken fried steak small size, it did not disappoint. It had enough breading, but not over and the meat went all the way to the edges. It wasn't just all breading with a little bit of meat inside. The mashed potatoes were extremely fresh and definitely made from scratch. My baked squash had the best flavor. We ordered a sampler platter that had a little bit of everything from cheese sticks to fried okra, onion rings, fried mushrooms, and fried pickles. When the owner came out and introduced himself to us a very quiet, humble older gentleman. He was so welcoming and inviting and told us about some of the specials that they're doing and we will definitely be going back. There's a few items that I really want to try like they have fish tacos that looked amazing. Definitely want to go back and have some more okra. I can guarantee like everything from beginning to end the ambience when you walk in is like a little café and extremely clean everything had a place. Just an awesome amazing place to go try.

The menu is a bit limited, and the pasta could be better in flavor and texture. However, the burger was excellent and definitely the highlight of the meal. Because we had a fairly large party, we called ahead to either reserve a table or at least give the restaurant a heads-up that we would be coming. The person who answered the phone (I believe her name was Jessica) repeatedly hung up on us and told us that a reservation wasn't necessary. When we arrived, we were informed that the restaurant was fully booked and that the wait would be about 45 minutes. There was quite a bit of back-and-forth with the host staff, and while I'm not sure if they were new, their demeanor and handling of the situation did not leave a good first impression. Having worked in restaurants myself, I understand how hectic things can get during busy hours. However, the front-of-house staff seemed disorganized and largely indifferent to the situation. We asked if we could be seated outside, where the majority of the tables appeared to be available, and were told the wait would be about 15 minutes, which was completely reasonable if they needed some time to prepare. Thankfully, our servers went above and beyond and somehow managed to work some magic to get us seated inside. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and willingness to help turned what started as a frustrating experience into a much better one. They were the highlight of our visit (along with the food and drinks)

It is a smaller place, Trump Vance memorabilia was there when I went, so I have a Trump koozie and a FJB koozie lol It is a walk up to order. Employees were really nice. Now when I went, I got the mushroom swiss burger with fries. OMG this burger was huge. Fresh ingredients and the fries were outstanding. Hot salty and perfect! I hate I moved out of state, because I'll never get to eat another. But at least I still have the memory! Solid 5 stars across the board for my visit and from what my Family told me about theirs a couple weeks ago.

My answer would be hell nah and I would rather eat at the worst restaurant I've ever ate at in my life than eat at Trump Burger again. Or even eat my own dog's poopoo would be better than eating at such a big beautiful establishment. But with some thinking I decided to only go for the Roland's Deportation with NO KINGS combo meal and an ICE tea which is by far the best meal on the menu and the greatest combo meal found anywhere in the world to enjoy for limited time before they close up shop. The service was a bit rude there but at least the combo meal was good enough to enjoy before seeing Trump supporters throw ketchup all over the walls with some confusion about the owner's deportation and claiming the immigration system is rigged against the owner and that the ANTIFA Democrats are just out to get him.

I know. "Fine dining" and burgers? But that's what I wanted. I searched the web and found the Chefs Table in Vintage Park, and it wasn't too far from us here in The Woodlands, so we decided to make reservations and head there. From the moment we entered, we were treated like special guests. The ambiance is rich, but not overdone or stuffy. Simply classic and relaxing. Our booth felt private and unhindered by conversations of nearby diners or wait staff bustling past. Our cocktails were perfect. The calimari we ordered as an appetizer was probably the most tender and delicious either of us have ever had. And when our burgers arrived, I was so happy. It was exactly what I had set my mind on when selecting my birthday dinner experience. The blend of brisket and chuck was absolutely delicious, set atop a perfectly buttered toasted bun, with some crispy onion straws on top. And the fries... oh my! I rarely if ever eat fried food - so clearly this was my big day to completely go off my standard fare, but those fries had the perfect crunch and flavor. Apparently, when my husband made our resv, he told them it was my birthday, so our server brought out a delightful complimentary spiced cake dessert after we were finished eating - for us to share. It was the perfect finish to an already amazing meal. Thank you to the entire staff at The Chefs Table yesterday, for helping to create a memorable and delicious birthday feast for my husband and me. We will definitely be back to try some other delights because the menu is packed full of amazing looking dishes.

The bad: The chili was weird, like it had a weird metallic taste, that then turned into a lingering spice. The spicy factor wasn't the problem, it was the weird taste. The queso wasn't queso. It was like a slightly heated cream cheese type mixture. So more of a cream cheese thick dip than a queso. They charged me $3-$4 for 3 bites of Mac and cheese (see photo)! Also, the breakfast I ordered was $14 and had dry French toast, way overcooked scrambled eggs, which became like egg nuggets and 2 skinny pieces of bacon, that I asked for crispy, but tasted burnt. The good: The Pulled Pork Sandwich was the star of the whole show. It has the Mac and cheese on top and we ended up ordering 2 to go. The drinks were so tasty and well made. Normal cocktail prices, but delicious every time. Our waiter/bartender was so nice and kind. Overall when food is concerned, would never go back. But if I wanted a good espresso martini or old fashioned and was in the area... I'd stop in.
