    Well worth a short drive off south of 81 to cure your barbecue craving. Very friendly establishment that personally ensures that you don't go hungry. A small local business the way barbecue is meant to be! Five Yelp Stars! FYI - Walmart parking across the street from establishment for large commercial vehicle parking.

    This is my second Dickey's experience and I returned semi-begrudgingly, as my first experience wasn't that great. I ordered the polish kielbasa, a Caesar salad, and a sprite. My husband got the brisket, mac and cheese and sweet tea. The customer service was fantastic and my food wasn't bad. My husband's brisket was okay, but I much prefer Mission BBQ to Dickey's. I would return again but it wouldn't be my first choice for barbecue.

    Had great BBQ. Pulled pork, ribs, kielbasa. So many good sides for the meals. From slaw and potato salad to onion tanglers and mac and cheese. Will return. But wait ... there's more. The management staff at this Dickey's was so helpful and friendly. It was truly the best dining interaction I have had in years. They explained the offerings and specials. They gave us coupons for future visits. There's even free ice cream. I had never been to any Dickey's before. Recently many places are short on staff as well as the food items. I think I was so amazed because they had the food available and the service was outstanding. I will likely become a regular customer.

There is nothing about this place to set it apart from any of the others...except it is the closest to my house. A few drawbacks: -most of the breakfast meals came with homefries OR toast...not both. And if you wanted to get the potatoes and order a side of toast, it was grossly overpriced. -I received the wrong meal. Turns out the waitress ordered it wrong, wasn't the kitchen's fault. In her defense, she did give me a discount on our bill. -the entire restaurant just had an "unfinished" feel to it. I didn't feel like we were sitting in a dining room. It was just a bit weird to me. Would I go back? Probably...but there are a few diners I like a lot more within a very reasonable distance. It isn't going to be my top choice for sure.

It's honestly the kind of menu you'd expect to stumble upon in a dream where the universe says, "Go ahead, choose joy." I originally planned to be "responsible" and just grab a slice to test the waters, but they didn't have any slices ready and would've had to make an entire pizza just for me. That felt like a sign from the Universe to stop lying to myself. If they were firing up the oven anyway, why not go big? So I took the cosmic hint and ordered their semi-Instagram-famous Mexican Breakfast Pizza: eggs, chorizo, mozzarella, cheddar... a 10" "personal" pizza (their wording, not mine) for $14. Twist my arm. Drinks live in the cooler by the door and you just grab whatever you want and pay at the end. As I was mid-debate between soda and water, the guy behind the counter popped out from behind the curtain and said, "Hey, since you're getting a breakfast pizza, if you want juice... orange, cranberry, apple... you can have it!" Placed my order at 5:02, snagged a seat by the window to watch the sunset fade and the traffic chaos whirl by. The crust hit that sweet middle ground between thin and deep dish: sturdy, doughy, beautifully crisped on the edges, and wonderfully yeasty. The eggs-to-cheese ratio was perfection, and the chorizo? A knockout. Spicy, chunky, far more personality than the usual breakfast-pizza sausage situation. I ate 1.5 slices and boxed up the rest, which will easily feed me for another three days because, yes, I believe in leftovers as a lifestyle. As I was leaving, the man behind the counter introduced himself--Sebastian--and he had been nothing but attentive, kind, and genuinely invested in making sure I had a great experience. Service like that sticks with you. Total damage: $22.26 including tip. For great food, even better service, and days of leftovers? That's what I call winning. I'll definitely be back--probably at another totally normal breakfast hour.

They also had this badass bartender named Tom who had an outgoing personality, so much so that he could light up a room. Things were a lot better when Gus was around. He was an elder Greek man that would come into the bar and order one shot and one beer and he'd sit there for a good bit of time just soaking in the ambience. He'd then come back to the kitchen and bring A REAL, LIVE SKINNED GOAT into the back of the building and chop it up. I've never seen something like that until him, and he was one of a kind when it came to culinary arts, not just having a knife in your hand. He was a master like no other. There is an ongoing pattern in these comments. We all see what we see. You'd be better off going up the street to Sals and get yourself a 10 or 11 dollar sub and it's like 1ft and a half long.

It was quiet, no too-bright lights, and warm. Cozy. Calm. Very much my vibe. I was handed a menu, told I could sit anywhere, and instructed to head to the order station when I was ready. As I perused the menu, I found myself in a familiar internal conflict: I really wanted the Smoked Beef Tri Tip & Burrata sandwich, but I also really wanted a smash burger instead of sliced beef. So naturally, I decided to test the limits of the universe. I gathered my courage, went to the order station, and told the man taking my order that I appreciated him entertaining what I was about to say because I was trying to break reality just a little. Then I asked: "Can I get the Smoked Beef Tri Tip & Burrata...without the tri tip...and with a smash burger instead?" Without missing a beat, he replied, "Well, I have to tell you--we're actually out of the tri tip, so...sure! We're going to confuse the guy in the kitchen, but let's do it." A million out of ten stars! Total for this beautiful nonsense: $16. I upgraded my fries to black truffle fries for $2 (as one does) and added a Diet Coke for $2.75. With tip, my total came to $25--very reasonable for the experience I was about to have. I returned to my seat and soaked in the atmosphere. A few minutes later, Order Station Man reappeared to let me know they were out of the bacon jam sauce that was supposed to go on my sandwich--but offered to whip up something similar if that was okay. YES. Always yes. Thank you for offering a solution instead of a shrug. This is a huge win in my book! While I waited, more folks filtered in and joined the couple seated near me. They clearly knew each other, and after a bit of chatting, someone called the group to order and they all introduced themselves. That's when I realized I had unknowingly scored dinner-and-a-show: a Dungeons & Dragons meetup. I ate my burger while listening to character introductions. Zero complaints. And the food? Exactly what I hoped for. The smash burger was a perfect, smaller patty--ideal size for me--loaded with creamy burrata on a fluffy roll. I quickly finished the entire thing, which is the highest compliment I can give. Midway through my meal, Order Station Man appeared again--this time holding a bowl of black truffle fries--and apologized for initially sending regular fries.
