Had to ask about their HH deals because it wasn't on the menu / the server didn't mention it. If we hadn't seen the sign outside, we would have no idea it was going on. 2.) Wanted to order another round while it was still HH but we couldn't get a hold of our server. Another friend arrived and asked about HH and she said it's over without even checking the time. My friend pulled out her phone to show it was only 5:54. Then she goes, "oh there's like 2 minutes left" (??) 3.) The server only took the third person's order and left without asking us if we wanted another round. Our glasses were visibly empty and we weren't even far from the POS. 4.) I tried to get her attention to order more HH drinks but she never looked our way or was no where to be found. Sure enough, she waited til after HH to get back to us. 5.) When we got our check, we got charged full price for the first two HH drinks. She never said sorry and just said "oh, let me check...". She came back with an updated bill, again without apologizing for the mistake.

We sat in a cabana which was super fun. It was snowing outside and we were perfectly comfortable temperature wise without our jackets on in the patio area. This would be the PERFECT spot for a small wedding or engagement party. I had heard great things about their happy hour and it lived up to all of my expectations. We had a dozen of their $1oysters as well as some $7 spritzes. The food here was also really great! We enjoyed the whipped ricotta toast and steak tartare especially. The staff here are lovely and super knowledgeable on wine. They have over 30+ wines by the glass at any time!

The space itself is adorable and cozy, with a sophisticated charm that honestly reminded me of being in Italy, like a tucked-away corner bar you just stumble upon. Our server, Austin, was amazing--super attentive, friendly, and fun, which made the experience even better. Definitely ask to sit in the cabana area if you can--it's absolutely beautiful. This spot is perfect for a girls' night or a date night since it feels intimate and special. One thing to note: reservations are timed, which I didn't realize beforehand, so that part was a little awkward while catching up with friends. Overall, I loved it and can't wait to go back.

But I decided to give it a try for takeout today, and I'm really glad I did. The biscuits were fresh and so tasty, and the chicken was pretty much perfect. We ordered two chicken biscuits, and thankfully the sauce came on the side, so nothing was soggy by the time it arrived. I went with the one that has a bit of a kick, and it was great. I also ordered the Nashville hot tenders, and they were amazing. Honestly, they might be some of the best chicken tenders in the area. They were fresh, juicy, and full of flavor. Again, the hot honey sauce was on the side, so everything kept its texture. Compared to other spots within driving distance, it is a little pricey, but the quality backs it up. I didn't interact with the staff since I ordered delivery, so I can't speak to the service. Based on the food alone, I would definitely order again and highly recommend trying their chicken.

In the modern world of $20 cocktails, craft double imperial IPA's with names like "a pidgeon's nightmare", sometimes all you want is an affordable ice cold miller light, play some pool, and watch some College football on a massive TV. The clientele clearly come to this traditional watering hole to make new friends, strike up fun conversations, and maybe throw back a few whiskey neats along the way. Don't expect an "instagramable" neon sign to take a picture in front of, but you'll find a no-nonsense bartender who will get you a cold one and listen to your life story. Don't get me wrong, I love the vibrant stretch of new American dining in Roscoe village right next door, but sometimes simplicity is all you need.

Has a pool table and everything. The drinks are the main thing, and it's a good place to get away from crowds and not care about looking cool and stuff. A total neighborhood bar. It probably has the same group of regulars here almost daily. They won't turn you away just because you aren't from around here though. Always happy to take your money in return for a drink. It's about $6 for the cheapest stuff. Basically it's just a place to drink. There's some snacks like chips or pretzels. For sure it's not the cleanest but it's not a dump. It had simple entertainment like a pool table and some TVs that have been around for who knows. This is a popular place for darts and there's lots of tournaments.
