I visited Dick Smith location in 2005 I met a salesman name Emmanuel Ibekwe he was very nice friendly and helpful he sold me my first vehicle and from that point on because he helped me so much I continue to buy every vehicle that I got from him and I referred a lot of my family and friends my family lives in Florence South Carolina and they buy all of their vehicles from Emmanuel they were not deal with anyone but him I believe he is a great asset to Dick Smith when it comes to selling their vehicles he is also a very nice and friendly person all of my friends call me and I always refer them to Emmanuel he will go the extra mile to help you and he always answer the phone when you called he do not lie and make things sound good he is real honest and genuine I appreciate him a lot for being such a good salesman I do believe that he is not in the car selling business to make the money he is there to help the people so Dick Smith as long as Emmanuel is working with you all I will always do business with you all read more

We purchased a used 2018 Ford Explorer from Dick Smith Ford in Columbia about a month ago (November, 2018). I have seen all the poor reviews about this dealership, but our experience with Eric Basiliere, our salesman, was perfectly fine. We would have liked to paid a little less for our car, but Mr. Basiliere found out from us what we wanted in a car, and he found that car at another Dick Smith location, had it brought to Columbia for us to check out, and ultimately handled the sale of this car to us. He and the other sales people with whom we dealt were entirely professional, right through to the paperwork completion with the dealership's finance officer. We haven't had the car long enough to need Dick Smith's service department, but if they are as responsive to our needs as Eric has been, with all our questions about all the features of our new car, I don't expect any issues. read more

After searching for a vehicle starting off in Lugoff and the dealership owner jacking up the price my family and I left after having spent over an hour going back and forth with owner; we then headed to Greystone boulevard to a particular dealership and they had no cash cars left; So we headed over to Dick Smith Ford to see if Jason Milton a salesman would be true to his word and work with us on our budget and when I say my family and I walked out with a very nice sports car in our budget without any undercover fees and unscrupulous tactics it was a miracle!! We are from North Carolina and we're in the process of towing a trailer to Myrtle Beach to pick a car. A diesel fuel line came off and our F250 lost power. My husband called Dick Smith Ford and talked to Katie in service. We had it towed to the dealership (leaving the trailer sitting on the interstate). I call for a service appointment and was told first come first serve. I was very impressed with the service I received from the time I drove into the service bay and when I drove out. My F-150 was serviced while I waited in the waiting area. Jarrod kept me informed of when it was ready and the exterior was even washed. This was service with smile. Mr. Errin greeted me, may I help you, handed him my warranty card. Here for my 1st oil change. Asked if purchased car here, yes. Stated information would be in computer. Hey they are TOPS at Dick Smith! Had some work done somewhere else and it was suggested that I return my car to the place of original work. They did offer some to redo some of the work but wanted another $587.00!!! I went back to Dick Smith and while I still had to have some work done due to the other mess up, it only cost $364.00. There was a recall on my Ford Focus in Oct. of 2016 for a Transmission Control Module which I took in to DICK SMITH FORD for the service. I took my FOCUS in for another problem in April of 2017 and was told that the TCM Module was bad and had to be fixed at the cost of $765.00. I tried to talk about the recall but they said that it was to late, that it had already been fixed. read more
