Everything was so good. We ate outside with a great view and took lots of pictures. We ended up buying a couple of bottles of wine to go! It's a small craft distillery, with much of the space dedicated to production, which actually turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit. We were given a brief tour, got an up-close look at their impressive still, and had the chance to ask questions about the distilling process. That personal interaction really added to the experience. We opted for a tasting flight of three spirits. Unfortunately, the one we were most excited to try wasn't available for purchase, even though it was the main reason we made the trip after reading about it. Disappointing, but understandable. We ended up taking home a bottle each of their whiskey and bourbon. At around $45 for the smaller bottles, they felt a bit pricey compared to similar offerings from other craft distilleries. Even so, I'm always happy to support local businesses, especially when they're producing quality spirits. The smoked gin is what first caught our attention, and I'm really looking forward to its release. Since the distillery doesn't open until 5 p.m., a visit requires a little planning--it's not the kind of place you'll casually stumble into while exploring. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and genuinely hope they succeed. The spirits we sampled were well made, the behind-the-scenes tour was a nice bonus, and we'd love to come back on a weekend when the atmosphere is a little more lively. We'll definitely be watching for that email announcing the smoked gin release. Here's hoping it's worth the wait!

Their home‑style tasting room welcomes leashed and friendly dogs, and the back patio opens to a peaceful countryside view that makes you forget how close you are to the NJ Turnpike. What made the visit unforgettable was the warmth. The owners love sharing their process and stories, and soon we were chatting with every guest around us. My only criticism which dropped a star from the review is that they don't offer samples or small pours. What you order is what you get, good or bad. Luckily everything i've gotten so far has been excellent. As far the the atmosphere it's great. Small and cozy. No TVs, just a place for good conversation and listening to some vinyl. Came here on a Saturday afternoon with my girlfriend and the place was absolutely mobbed. Packed to the rafters. Somehow we got two seats at the bar and were immediately greeted by one of the bartenders who asked us if it was our first time there and thanked us for coming in. I thought this was great customer service - despite how hectic it was behind the bar, he still made the effort to have a positive interaction with us before taking our order. 20 beers and five seltzers on tap! Two beers on nitro and one side pull lager. What an offering! We went with two flights. I got the Champagne Sournova, the Hawaiian Noises, the Chocolate Strawberry Swampdog, and the Straight Outta Belgium. I'm someone that always appreciates variety in a beer list. As much as I like IPA's, it's no fun going to a place where they make up 3/4 of the menu. So the variety at Neck of the Woods is quite impressive. But all that variety is worth nothing if the beer isn't good. I'm happy to say the beers I had were perfect. Big and bold and and truly worth savoring every drop. On a random note, this brewery also had the cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen at any bar/restaurant/brewery I've ever been to. Decent sized parking lot, and a nice little tasting room inside. Nice decor and variety of seating, including authentic German beer garden tables and benches. It was pretty dead when we visited, just six people at the bar who all appeared to be locals. The bartender was quick with service but didn't engage with us further. $7 pints and $9 flights of four 4 oz beers. There were 9 beers on tap and one seltzer when we were there. We each had a flight so we got to sample most of what was on the menu. Unfortunately we didn't really like most of what we had. The Mexicali Brews (a mojito Pilsner) was definitely interesting in that I've never seen a beer like it before. It was the best of my flight. The Galway Girl (Irish red ale) seemed too watered down, the Stalk n' Hops (cream ale) was just ok, and the Gravity Storm (DIPA at 9.45%) was, I hate to say, atrocious. The Double IPA is by far my favorite style of beer, and this was too watery and had a bitter aftertaste without any of the smooth, nuanced hop flavor I've come to expect from other DIPA's. Most breweries will offer a brief description of their beers, including intended flavor profiles, hops used, etc, but there was none of that here so it was hard to tell what they were going for and what went wrong. If you're local, I'm sure this is a nice place to hang out with some friends and beers. They do a lot of fun events including food trucks and live music. But this is definitely not a place to go out of your way to visit, as you can find much better beer elsewhere.
