Not sure if they're suddenly out of business or what, but definitely cannot recommend at all. Update- we finally received a response from the owners, who cited an emergency with one of the crews and stated that, while they were still trying to catch up from yesterday, today's conditions would prevent them from servicing us today and for "the rest of the season." To summarize- we signed a seasonal contract with them, they not only didn't show up but also didn't communicate anything about an emergency or change in plans that would allow us to make other arrangements, then canceled our service. Terrible customer experience.

Even though Bento did show up everytime for the past season, it will be nice to get some notifications like when the team starts routing, when they might show up or will they do a de-ice etc.

Snow began falling at 8am on Thursday.....we (a 5-month pregnant woman, an infant, and 3 people who had to drive to work on Friday) were not serviced until 4:30pm Friday.....32 HOURS without service. The initial promise that all sidewalks, stairs, and most importantly the driveway would be cleared by 6am Friday morning was clearly just a bunch of BS, which the point person Mike seems to have in spades. Two of us lost a day of work, another incurred $70 in uber charges to get back and forth, and another had to adjust her weekend travel plans because all 3 of our cars were still snowed in. What's worse, is after everything settled down, i gave Mike the opportunity to have a conversation about our on-going services with his company, and despite 4 texts, 2 voicemails and an email i have yet to hear back. For this, more so than the mishaps in service, is the reason we've decided to cancel our service from them. Stay away!

Originally, I found their business on Craigslist, when I was looking for a snow removal service for my house in Boston, back in 2010. Since then, I've used them for snow removal, house cleaning, plumbing, painting, even some other small home improvement jobs. I still use them today and recommend them to friends and clients. This is a family-run business in the truest sense and they are honest, hard-working folks that provide excellent services at very reasonable prices. On top of it all, they are very diligent about their paperwork and billing, which I find to be rare in the industry. I get electronic copies for my records in my email.

The business line is dead and email is the only way to reach them. They used to show up during a snow storm two or three times during the storm. Now you're lucky if you see them once, hours after the snow has stopped falling and everyone else in your neighborhood has been shovelled out. During the big last storm, they hand shovelled property because all of their equipment was broken. I'm sorry I can't write a better review - Billy used to be great. I don't know what happened, but I'm embarrassed that I recommended them to friends whose experiences have been similar to mine.

Now I've been in charge of the "landscaping" of my yard, so let's just say it was an absolute nightmare to begin with...I mean bad...to the point I almost (notice I said almost) went and cleaned it up before they came. These guys went nuts. Within a couple hours all the over grown bushes were trimmed down, the scrub was cleaned up and I was left with this awesome looking yard I hadn't seen since what seems like the dawn of time. Even better, the guys came to my door when they were done, walked me through everything they did and asked me if there was anything else I wanted them to do before they left...how cool is that! Needless to say Michele is super happy and have officially locked them in as my go-to landscaping company.
