Absolute heaven. I went to this state park when I was a young child at summer camp and just returned for the first time in over 20 years! It was even better than I remembered. There is a very easy .5 mile walk/hike from the parking lot to this amazing place. As you're approaching Diana's Baths, you can hear the flow of the water and before you know it, you're standing at the base of a series of gorgeous waterfalls and natural pools along Lucy Brook. You can swim, hike, climb on the rocks, or just sit in one of the many crystal-clear natural pools on a hot day and be thankful that there are places like this in the world. read more

What a gorgeous area and beautiful falls! This 4th we visited the area and decided to take a hike up to the falls. We skipped paying for parking since we parked outside the park and hiked up. The hike itself was beautiful and not as intense as we thought it would be. There were a few areas that called for crossing the water but it was welcomed on a warm day. The falls themselves were great and swimming in the water was nice. The water was freezing which was nice but sunbathing on the rocks was the best part. The falls were packed in certain areas, but everyone was kind and it didn't seem chaotic. The one tip I have is pack lightly if you are hiking up. The incline can be a bit tough in places. read more

Great short little hike with a very well maintained trail. There is a 2 or 3 dollar cost to park and it gets crazy busy in the summer because you can swim in the falls area. I like a little more challenge and nature in my hiking, but it was a very pretty waterfall. read more

The baths and the pathways to the baths are very nice. The hike is very mild and mostly flat, even mostly stroller friendly. A dog friendly venue as well. The parking lot was full on a late June weekend, and it took several minutes for everyone entering to have to wait for someone to leave before they could park. The baths themselves once gotten to were the same FULL of people, but certainly refreshing. A picnic lunch would have been a great addition, for those with forethought. read more

What an absolutely fabulous place! I wish I could visit in the warm summer weather. Unfortunately, I was there in the cold fall weather, so I was not able to play in the water. However, I still enjoyed it's beauty. There are several waterfalls and "pools" to enjoy. There is lots of climbing and hiking. Even in the fall the place was busy, so I'm sure it's crowded in the summer heat. It's about a half mile hike back to it and the falls go up and up, we never did find the source of the water. We just moved to the area and can walk through the woods to Diana's. It's a shame it's become so well known because it's natural beauty is wonderful but isn't pleasant when over run with crowds of people. They've done a really nice hard dirt/paved path to the falls and there's lots of areas to have a picnic (if you can snag a spot). There's lots of pools of water to keep cool on a hot day and waterfalls to stand under. There is a trail to the right that goes up and around to the upper streams and is much quieter. You can find places to sit and keep cool up top! Look forward to going when it's quieter (hopefully!) read more

I love this place!! I've lived in NH for so long and have always wanted to visit and I finally got the chance too! There is a short trail leading to the baths but it's so gorgeous! I wore a bathing suit and would step around the rocks, it was so pretty! Definitely would recommend to a friend and I would definitely come back! There is a fee to get in but it is just a box in front of the trail and it was not expensive at all!! If you are vacationing in New Hampshire I would definitely come here for a day! read more

Best easy hike in the MWV area. Absolutely beautiful views up and down this area. Stunning waterfalls and pools.

Just a nice place to spend some time in and out of the sun. Need some agility as you can surely expect to maneuver in and out of rocky / tree spaces. Pack a lunch and bring plenty of drinks(no glass) and you will surely enjoy your stay. read more

We love how the baths are all naturally created, it just makes it feel special.. away different from just going to the pool, and plus, you get to hike up to get there! Nice place to visit with the family. Some fun spots. Kids were sliding on the rocks into the water. There's a water hole you can jump into on top of the rocks. Great little spot to get your feet wet with some fun waterfalls. Gets a bit crowded in the summer, but walk through the loud families and you will be on the trail to hike the Moats by yourself! I've taken our dogs here, and they enjoy the shallow pools too. read more

I sometimes sit stunned at the beauty around me. Well worth your time the waterfalls here are just MESMORIZING! even though there were a lot of tourists here you weren't really bothered by them. There was enough space for everyone to move around. At least most of the time there was. I would love, love, LOVE to come back during the summer, or when kids are back in school but it's still warm so I can sit in the shallows. read more

This is a beautiful spot. We were only stopping by for an hour, but could have spent much more time there. There are picnic benches and spots to have picnics on the ground. The water is very cold, but you can swim in it. There is a hiking trail as well. There are also nice photo ops. Parking is bad. There are not many spots and it is usually full. You have to just sit and wait for someone to leave. There is a $5 parking fee and you can pay by check or cash. There is an outhouse type bathroom. read more

This is a great place to go when you don't really have the time to do a lot of hiking but need to get a nature fix and relax. The walk into the Baths is about a 10 minute walk. It's very easy and most people will have no problems getting in. On a hot sunny day there's nothing like sunbathing on the rocks and occasionally dipping into the pools of running water for a cool down. Bring a picnic and enjoy the scenery and the quiet. On really nice days on the weekends there could be a lot of people there but during the week it's pretty quiet. I remember when this used to be pretty much a native-only spot because no one knew about it but I think the secret is out. Especially since they've added a parking lot and cleared a proper path. Bring your camera as there are plenty of opportunities for great shots. read more

What it is: From a large parking lot, a .6 mile walk over a groomed trail (we saw strollers and a motorized scooter make the easy trek) through woods to a beautiful multi-tiered set of falls. The easy trail includes a bridge, streams, etc. so there is a bit to see along the way for those not used to a day out in the woods. The 'hike' would not wow an experienced hiker (neither strenuous nor unique), but is perfect for simply enjoying the woods and has enough to see along the way to keep little ones occupied. The falls at the end are gorgeous, not blow-you-away awe-inspiring (not Niagara) but rather simply beautiful. Even very small children can maneuver down the walking path and wade in the lower falls (except perhaps in spring during the snow runoff). The more adventurous and able-bodied can use the trails or climb the rocks of the falls themselves (they are not vertical, more a series of small plateaus). This is a great multi-generational/multi-age expedition with enough adventure available in particular for teens who can go exploring (I live with 30 teenagers, so am always on the lookout for teen-appropriate spots) while those preferring a less strenuous trip can enjoy the lower tiers of the falls. The bugs vary considerably from visit to visit. My recent trip in August was bug-free, although mid-day in summer it was very crowded. read more

This is one of my favorite spots in the White Mountains. Parking is $3, then it's an easy walk to the waterfall. The path is wide and somewhat graveled, so strollers and wheelchairs shouldn't have a problem. The waterfalls/baths are beautiful, and their personality changes every day. Some days are slow and lazy, making it easy to swim and play. Other days are vigorous, like after a thunderstorm. No matter how busy it gets - and it can be slammed on a nice day - you can always find a spot for personal respite away from screaming kids. The only downside is that there is usually trash around the busiest areas because people are careless jerks who think that used baby diapers and pop cans are someone else's problem. read more

A natural wonder. It costs only $3 for a day pass to visit the falls and its worth it. Try go on an off time so you aren't bombarded by tons of other people. The walk was pretty easy, about .5 miles on mostly flat ground brings you to the falls. Next, pick a spot and then find a pool to dunk yourself in. The water is cold, ocean cold and refreshing. The falls are beautiful, but can be slippery, I'd wear water shoes next time. Go on a hot or humid day and you've got an instant cool off station. read more

This place is soooooooo cool. My babe and I arrived just as it started to rain which made our experience that much better as it cleared the masses out. We walked about .06 miles to the baths. It was awesome, all the little falls and tons of little pools everywhere. My love had the idea to climb further up, away from the left over people to see what it was like up stream. This was the coolest part, we just kept going and going, jumping and scaling over rocks to see even more beautiful pools and mini waterfalls. One guy told us about this black hole amongst the rocks that you can actually jump or dive in because it's that deep. It literally looks like a little black hole big enough for just one person. Crazy cool. The rocks were smooth and wonderful, we'd like to go back and have some more water fun. read more

I am not outdoorsy- my natural habitat is the mall. But even I can appreciate Diana's Baths. I was here the last week in August with my family (my husband, 3 year old daughter, & 6 month old daughter). We carried the baby in the Bjorn, but could have and should have used the jogging stroller. It was an easy walk to the lower falls, and my 3 year old loved splashing around. It's super shallow so she didn't need a life jacket, but water shoes to prevent slipping are a must. The upper falls were more difficult to get to, and I made the mistake of thinking I could climb up with the baby and all of our stuff to meet the rest of the family. I wound up shin-deep in mud that was like quicksand. It was not pleasant. Diana's Baths was so beautiful that even getting lost & winding up covered in mud won't keep me from returning next year. But I may stick to the lower falls. read more

What a little gem this place is. Nice place to go to relax and just listen to the water. Went with my future wifey and she loved it as well. It's a slippery on the rocks though. So watch your kids or put a helmet on them or something. Idk, I raise dogs that's about it. But Fido would love it too! $3 honor system for parking. Pay it people. Don't be cheap! It's a small price for the great experience you'll have. Feel free to drink the running water. It's better than most bottled water! read more

Located off a scenic road in North Conway, NH this place is a great spot for a nice walk through the woods. The walk was .6 of a mile on flat, open ground. It was nice and cool in the woods even though it was a sunny day and wasn't very busy on a Tuesday afternoon.Warning however, there are a quite a bit of mosquitoes and other bugs like horseflies along the path, so bring some bug spray. At the end of the short walk there are some random picnic tables and a nice waterfall, for the best parts, take the path a little way up, you can navigate the rocks and get to the middle for some pretty photo ops. I've seen a couple of water falls in my day and this one isn't drop-dead-awesome, but it's a nice, comfortable walk - I even saw a family with a baby carriage, so I"m sure it would be easy for small children as well as the elderly. read more

There is a little parking lot that charged $3/day and was easy to find. The trail was very wide and well maintained, and it is flat enough (and short enough) that I'm sure a wheelchair could easily make its way to the Baths. Since we visited in off-season, there wasn't anyone else around and we were able to enjoy nature's beauty. The water levels seem to vary greatly here, we were standing on smooth rocks that were obviously covered by water at other points of the year. I would love to come back in the winter when snow is all around. I bet it is gorgeous! read more

This place is beautiful and the people there are very friendly... I went on 8/27/2016 which was a Saturday and it was pretty packed... I did not park in the lot which was $3... We parked on the street and it was free... The water was pretty cold and the rocks were slippery so be careful... Other than that this place was awesome! Can't wait to go back!! read more

This is such a cool spot! It is a short and easy walk into the river and falls. We had two 7 year olds with us and they loved it. The water was nice and cool in July. If you can, wear something with a deck sole or non-slip sole, it helps. Bring a camera too and maybe some big spray if you like to wander. The bugs were fine in the water but were worse on the paths beside it. Absolutely worth a visit! read more

The waterfalls are majestic. They go on and on with each level being more fascinating than the one before it. What I like most about this trail is that you get to go on adventures jumping over rocks to cross the streams. The Appalachian paths (orange) has a couple of these crossovers and you have to be careful not to slip. Use a stick to balance yourself against the rocks. Perfect anytime of the day and any season event winter when the waterfalls are frozen. They look like ice castles. read more

I have often read about the beauty and popularity of Diana's Baths. On Christmas Day Hoover dog and I followed the path into the woods. Air was crisp and clear. Several other travelers were on the trail, but it was an open and easy walk. When we crossed the wooden bridge and walked a few more steps to the rushing waters I was in awe. In Summer time it may be "the place to be" but the Wintery Spectacular was beyond compare! 'Ice flows along the side of the falls made it difficult to scramble up to the very top, but the view from below and the sides were captivating. read more
