I found half a piece to be a satisfactory amount. My husband said he had almost ordered two pieces but only ordered one, he ate the other half of mine and found 1-1/2 pieces to be a good amount for him. He said he could have eaten two but 2-1/2 would have been too much. I chose a can of red wine to accompany this showpiece. The man behind the counter noted that the wine is made from Sangiovese grapes (as is Chianti, which is a Sangiovese blend). One of the best part of the Carving Board is their side selection. You can get just something to go with your sandwich, or go bigger to have some for later. There is a lot available, and all made in house. Their cold sesame noodles are a favorite of mine, so I got a pint of them so I'd have some for home too. The service there is always fast and friendly. They never take long to make each bowl so if you're in a hurry this is a great place to stop that's going to faster than any drive thru in town. I was eating in today so I chose one of the high tables. My husband was joining me with his Volcano Bowl, and we also got a fountain drink. I'm not sure what type of lettuce mix they use but it was the freshest and crunchiest I've ever had. I get salads at other build your own type places, but they are never this cold and crisp. Highly recommend getting it here if you are usually a rice base type person. Dining room is spotless as always. I can always find a clean table to sit and the beverage area is also kept spotless every time I've been in. Poke Star has been in this location for quite a few years unlike other places that come and go so you know they are doing something right.
