Sone of the Bæst team struck out on their own and created a slice shop. I didn't know this initially but a restaurant person tipped it to me they had great slices. A good start was seeing the palettes of Mulino Marino flour outside. It's from a chef in Piemonte that has a pizza place, grain mill and worked at a 2 Michelin star there
Got pepperoni and nduja slices. Both excellent and you can taste the sourdough starter in it. Met one of the owners and the restaurant manager who were super nice
