DO NOT get gel full set or fill! They're lying to you, using acrylic nails then gel overlay and overcharging!!!!!!!! Another salon in the area taking advantage of people not knowing the difference between gel and acrylic! Do your research before going here and STOP them if you go in for gel full set/refill if they pull out powder and liquid IT'S ACRYLIC. Gel full sets need to have EVERY nail cured with the light immediately after extension is applied for gel nails before polish is even applied. Then, again every time they do a coat of no chip polish. You can tell from my pics they're acrylic and not gel with their poor application. Stay far away from here. read more

Dustin treated my toes with great care and got out all the build-up from under my toenails. I live in Park Forest, and Diamond Nails will be worth the drive. I have always been happy with Tony and his nail stylist staff. I was a client with them when they were located in Manteno and I followed them to their current salon in Bourbonnais. It feels good and looks good to have styled nails. I have thin, weak natural nails and can't keep them looking great on my own. I used to get artificial gel nails but about 3 months ago I was talking with another of their regular clients who started getting a no-chip manicure on her natural nails. Pleasantly surprised with my last minute walk in decision to get a mani/pedi here. Came in a dress, was immediately offered a towel for my legs. Gentleman doing my nails was extremely thorough, gentle & relaxing. I didn't want to put my dirty-makeup covered mask on bc I had just had a facial & he gave me a new one. To start, I am not from the area. I have family here so sometimes if we have downtime, I like to go to the nail shop. Today, I a pedi from Danny and it was great!! He has an eye for detail, does not rush, and overall gives a great pedi. Was impressed with his paint skills too!! Got a fill from Tony. He did a great job with my shape and color. There were no bubbles, ridges, or spots left unpainted (I am a stickler about them not painting the sides all the way to cuticle). Experience was great. Calming/ "spa-like" music played the whole time which was nice opposed to a loud tv on a random station no one cares about. One of my favorite parts was the color selection. MAN! I was quoted 35 dollars for a full set over the phone, my daughter went with her friends, they were all charged 70 dollars each. I went the next day and questioned how much for a full set and also how much for art because she got 2 nails done with art (literally drew an S, supposedly a snake) told me 35 plus 5 each nail for art while I was standing there. I clarified.. ok so 45 total? He said yes (Tony) I then asked why then did he charge my daughter 70 dollars ...then all kinds of excuses. They took advantage of these girls, and when he saw her reach in her wallet and only had 2 dollars left he laughed and said oh I'm taking all of your money. He is GARBAGE! Considering most of my reviews of salon services focus on quality, while being quick and easy with limited frills, this one is a little different. Maybe I do like to be pampered when I have the time? I was visiting my mom, who lives in the area, and decided to try this place for a pedicure. It looks brand new and is very clean. I didn't notice the usual chemical nail smell most nail places have. They have a great selection of colors. The pedicure area is in the back and feels private. They massage chair was the best I ever experienced. They offered me a small bottle of water and they have a nice flat screen tv and a good selection of current magazines. You can customize your pedicure, which was great. I can't remember all of the details, but I upgraded one level and got a salt/sugar scrub and wrap. I wouldn't suggest freshly shaved legs before getting that, (Dr. Oz said that's not a good idea before a pedicure anyway). ;-) I also liked that she asked me if she could use that razor thing on my feet before just going for it. Overall, it was just a very pleasant experience. Over three weeks later and my pedicure still looks perfect. read more

I think that this is one of the best salons of this type in the area. As another reviewer already stated, they offer everyone a bottle of cold water. The salon was very clean and I really liked that the pedicure area was separate from the nail area. I didn't hear them try to upsell service to anyone there, but instead just had a simple "pedicure menu" attached to each chair so you could see what was included in each service. The man who did my pedicure took his time and I think it was the most thorough pedi I've had for a long time. The chairs are very nice, wide, and have a huge variety of massage options. They are angled so if I were going with someone and wanted to chat, I would ask to have seats across from each other rather than next to each other. Instead, the tech put a white tip on and then filled my nails pink powder. No white sculpted tips for him...?! What!!? I got a no chip manicure Friday at Diamond Nails. My real nails started breaking 3 days later just putting on clothes. I paid $40 and went in after calling and telling them. I guess it's my fault that I had to put on clothes lol so now I have to pay to get the no chip removed a week later. I'm extremely upset. A friend of mine, my daughter & myself all took a girls trip to get our nails done November 17, 2019. We all got No Chip full sets, mine itself was $70 my daughters was $50 somehow our total was $122. My daughters nails ALL fell right off the nail beds Nov 23rd only 6 days later. Cheer season is over so it's not like sport were the reason! My nails also started falling off a few days later, my friends nails Also are falling off! Not only did I feel like I was "welcome" but they kept telling me what I wanted was expensive, not a yes or no that they could do the design when I asked. I told them they kept telling me it's expensive as if I can not afford it! My nails also ended up looking corroded, so after all of that time and $122 later for 2 sets I have a few nails gone off my hand & my daughter has no nails to show on her hands! My girlfriend got her nails done here for graduation. She asked for them to be slightly rounded, but not much. What she received was the complete opposite. Her nails are more rounded than the tips of her fingers, and when she called to ask for them to be fixed they told her she would have to pay and it "wasn't their problem." Absolutely absurd. She thought she had a good experience and said the guy who did them was very friendly and personable, but when she called the next day she was blown away by the rudeness over the phone. I do not wish to take business away, but if you give someone the opposite of what they ask for and then say it's not your problem to fix, you don't deserve business in the first place. I went here for the first time today and I am absolutely amazed with the service! My 4 year old who is autistic sat threw her pedicure and her manicure and the older gentleman who did her nails was so patient with her and every time she accidentally smudged her nails he fixed them for her. We didn't have to wait long at all for our pedicures. I waited a little bit to get my natural nails done which was no problem at all. Tony kept apologizing for the wait which was no big deal! Wow! This place is amazing. I came to visit from California and had one of the best experiences. The people here are genuinely welcoming and catered to my needs. I recommend getting your nails done by "Tony" he does an amazing job and also is very funny. Overall, a great experience and I will be coming back in the future. My girlfriend had such a wonderful time here and the owner also mentioned how they have recently taken over the place (a few months) and how they remodeled the entire shop. I cannot deny this place looks wonderful it is probably one of the prettiest nail saloons I have ever been too. The customer service is less than stellar. While I was trying to pick a color for my nails, the lady who wasn't even doing my nails, stood right next to me and tapped her foot as if I was taking way too long. Mind you, as soon as I told her what nail service I wanted she told me where the color selections were and then proceeded to stand right next to me while I was trying to pick, so it had been maybe 10 seconds. I watched her do this to other customers as well, making everyone feel rushed and uncomfortable. The person who did my nails didn't even say hello. Couldn't wait to get out of there. I had to wait 45 minutes because i was a walk-in and i got a full set of acrylics, they werent bad but then when i asked if they had holographic the lady was confused and said it was "chrome" so i just went with it. charged me $5 per nail that had holo. i also wanted a design too with rhinestones on my index finger and when i got it i did NOT like it at all so another person had to do it and it was decent. Charged me 3$ per nail that had the rhinestones and charged me even more because of how long they were and they werent even that long, i paid $58 it was NOT worth it. read more

After getting a pedicure at this salon at first I was happy. The lady took her time and they looked great. However upon taking the polish off my toes I had fungus. I would 100% not recommend going to diamond nails. I wanted to get my nails removed which was only $8 the first time I Went there. He removed the acrylic, barely wanted to make my nails look fresh and natural, and did not polish them (which is what they did the first time).
