Tried this nail salon a week ago for the first time . I spent $151 on a full set and a pedi. Less than a week later, the polish started chipping and one of the nails broke. I went back to have that polish taken off and redone and was charged another $40 as if it was a new full set. I will not be coming back read more

I always go to this nail salon with a sense of optimism. Hoping that it will be a relaxed environment which it started like that. My nail person was very quiet and seemed a little sleepy. I tried to talk with her briefly. Then all of a sudden she peps up when one of her regulars came in. She held an entire conversation with her while doing my feet. Then another nail person rushes over and starts working on my nails. She was shaking and I felt like she was rushing. It felt like a production line atmosphere at this point. The young girl immediately jumped from me to her known client to provide her with nail service. At this point, I did not feel relaxed and when I mentioned my concerns to the manager, he dismissed it and said it's nothing personal. I never said that but I do want to feel valued as a customer. If I could give them a negative one that is what it would be. Don't patronize places that wont even honor what their own receipt states. Repairs within 3 days. If your polish is being watered down or so old that it won't dry that is not a I problem that requires me to pay again for my nails to be polished over. My complaint is not the only one people just choose not to leave a review and just go somewhere else. I will never patronize this shop ever again. They say the polish may take more than 20-30 minutes to dry. That is simply unheard of no matter how humid it is outside. May your business RIP....... Fairburn deserves better. 8/15/2021. My service was great, both ladies who serviced me were polite and professional. The 3 stars is because I did not see them clean the pedicure seats after each client. Don't even bother. Every single time I come here, there's always an issue. A rushed pedicure with no hot towel, an upset nail tech with the fact that i changed my mind on the color... it's just always something here. Literally the worst nail experience I've ever had. My friend and I decided to meet up and go get our nails done. There is about a 30 mile distance between her and I, so we decided to try out a new nail shop. Upon arrival, the energy of the nail shop was pretty nice. It is decorated beautifully and they played good music. We both decided to get gel full sets and a couple other services. Her and I both noticed that the employees were kinda passive aggressive, but we ignored it. Her and I both hate our nails. My nails are way too thick, wide and they are even curved. They are hideous. My friend hated her nails as well. The nail tech placed the nails on crooked and made them wide like duck's feet. She was only offered a $5 discount. Went in for a polish change on my nails and toes with a design on my nails. I have no complaints on the polish change on the toes, but the nails did not last a day. My middle finger chipped four hours into the night. 12 hours later, the gel was peeling off of both hands. I had to come back to the salon twice before being asked to wait 30 minutes to get serviced. I asked could anyone else take the gel polish off and they said I had to wait for the person who serviced me. They refused a refund, which caused me to leave. read more

This place is OVERLY PRICED and they charged me for a service that wasn't even performed. I got a pedicure and a full set of nails. I told her which pedicure I wanted and realized when I left that I didn't even get the hot stone that was listed on the pedicure I paid for. When I set down to get my nails done I asked how much would it cost to get 2 lines down my nails as a design she told me 30 extra dollars. FOR 2 LINES. I was charged 5 dollars to change shape, 5 extra dollars for color, 5 extra dollars for acrylic. Everything was 5 extra dollars. Not to mention the very next day my nail broke after spending almost 200 dollars on there terrible service. This was a painful experience for $50. I don't know the lady's name but she sit in chair 3. She kept digging her mail into my skin. Each time she switched hands she would snatch my hand toward her. She squeezed my thumb so tight I begin to get a cramp. I kept saying that hurt she would say sorry but continued to be rough. I've been going to the same place for years. I take advantage of their reward program which keeps me coming back. After my last visit ill be learning how to do my own nails or find somewhere else to go. I noticed a sign plastered everywhere that the prices where going up June 10, 2022. Now they are not the cheapest by far but what I paid for and had always gotten cost me $35 MORE this time AND I used a $10 off reward. Dre performed my fill in and I actually chose him based on a previous satisfactory experience. This tome was quite different. I'm my attempt to self advocate to let him know that the e-file was hurting my cuticles since he was not using a rounded safety bit. Dre decided that getting loud with me was his best solution exclaiming that he didn't cut me. I actually was aware that he didn't not and was not insinuating this but letting him know that the drill bit was too close to my cuticle and causing discomfort. Instead of engaging with his combative behavior that drew attention from all over the salon, I decided instead to write this review. People do not come to spend their money to be told how to feel and certainly not to be utterly disrespected. Additionally, this occurred in the presence of the manager who seemed to not care since there was no immediate reprimand or change in course of action. Saying all of this, I will no longer patronize an establishment that feels that they can disrespect customers when the customer attempts to improve the quality of the service being received. I arrived as the doors open for a full set and a pedicure I waited over 25 minutes after sitting in the pedicure chair in cold water I had to ask several times for my water to the heated I received service the lady rushed through my pedicure. Then as I sat in the chair and I waited for my fill I waited over an hour minutes for three people to come back and forth and finish partial Processes on my nails They had literally only been filed so then when I asked just to have a gel polish change instead he got mad . And They charged me $28 for a polish change try to recoup their money for not getting a fill. Although the business is clean as a local business owner of multiple businesses in the beauty industry in several states. I will not ever patronize this place ever again. Myself and my bf came here to get our feet and my nails done while waiting for our reservation. My toes look great my nails on the other hand was a terrible experience. My nails are SNS that typically last 3 weeks without chipping, cracking, or falling off with my usual salon. I've been getting them done for 3 years now. Within the first 2 days of coming to this salon they began cracking then eventually on the third day it cracked so deep that it was painful to remove the first one. The other nail cracked and when it fell it completely took my nail bed off. I went to my typical salon to get the rest soaked off because it looked awful and they were appalled by how bad this set was. I called and sent pictures of how bad my nails look and asked for a refund for just my nails and they wouldn't provide that. Now I have to wait for my nails to hopefully grow back and if not that's the end of my nails getting done. I guess that's what I get for not going to my normal salon please don't go here. BEWARE!!!!!!!! Notice all the 1 star reviews! This is one of the worst establishments I've ever set foot in. Abby did my lashes last week. I asked for individual (vs. clusters=really heavy). They were done in 20 minutes and Abby glued my eyes shut 3X. I could barely open my eyes when she was done due to weight of the lash and the amount of glue used. They were a constant aggravation when I blinked due to uneven placement and massive balls of hard glue. I kept telling her that something wasn't right. I've been getting my lashes done for years and know how they should feel. She didn't isolate them or even tape my bottom lashes which she was ripping out trying to get all the glue off them. She stuck all the extension cluster to each other and to my SKIN. She charged me double the listed price (see other reviews about price gouging) and said it's because she did individual which is more expensive. Number one-she didn't. Two-that price difference should be listed if that's true...I'm quite sure she made it up. Right then I knew she was scamming me by charging me double the advertised price. But that's far from the worst part. Within days the lashes started falling off in HUGE clusters with rock hard glue bases (proof she didn't do individual which she charged me double for) breaking all my eyelashes off in the meantime. Not even a week later they have all fallen out in massive chunks and I have NO EYELASHES of my own left. Abby completely destroyed my natural lashes and I'm literally walking around now with NO EYELASHES AT ALL. I was in tears over this. I went in this morning to show her what she had done and ask her why she did not do the individual lashes I requested or paid for and to show her not only did they all fall out but broke all my natural lashes off. She DID. NOT. CARE and tried giving me a bunch of bs lies and excuses to avoid accountability. Being the con artist she is, she tried to say she did do individual lashes but I had the proof in hand to show her the massive clusters that came off my eyes leaving me lashless. Clearly not individual. She then refused to give me my money back for ruining my lashes and lying about the price and service and offered to put on another full set but that I would have to pay for that too. I was in disbelief. I don't even have anything to attach new lashes to. Nothing I said to her about how wrong what she did was got through to her and she refused all accountability. She tried to lie about several things to avoid blame but it was clear in my responses that she was lying so she just avoided the whole conversation and kept saying things like "If you broke a nail, you couldn't come and get your money back". This is no comparison to that. She CAUSED DAMAGE that will result in me having to walk around with no eyelashes for months. Furthermore, charged me for one thing and gave me another. Had she done what I asked and paid for, my lashes would not have been destroyed. When I tell you that they have absolutely no idea what they are doing when it comes to lashes, trust me...red flag number one...gluing your eyes shut!! It is so obvious that they don't even care. They just want to slap something on you real quick, price gouge you and double the listed price, and take zero responsibility for their actions. I asked for the owner's name repeatedly and Abby refused to give it to me. I had many valid points that I raised to her including the fact that (I now learned) there are several reviews out there with customers having the same experience as me. All she responded over and over was that she wasn't taking responsibility, giving me a refund for ruining my lashes or for charging me for something she didn't give me, and would only try to fix it if I paid her for another full set. These people need to be out of business. Not only is customer service non-existent but they are INCOMPETENT THIEVES WITH ZERO ETHICS. I will be putting complaints in with the BBB and the Georgia Consumer Protection agency today. I urge all others who have had this experience to do the same. read more

Before writing this review, something told me to come on yelp to see other reviews and I should've saw them prior to my latest service. I am in TEARS writing this due to my frustration because I already had a semi bad experience the first time because of the same issue but I waited a year to be my second time getting my nails done at the 8030 diamond nail and spa in Fairburn location just to see any improvement. Unfortunately, it has gotten worse. I recently came to get my nails done October 13, 2022 for a wedding out of the country. I spent $77 on just SNS again because it's been said that SNS is a healthier alternative to acrylic. The guy who did my nails assured me the nails would last at least 2 weeks( which didn't even last a week) and that I wouldn't have any issues while I was at the wedding out of the country. As soon as I landed, nails IMMEDIATELY started to pop off left and right to the point that luckily a few people of the bridal party had spare press-ons. Needless to say, this isn't the worst of the story of this experience. When I returned to the states, you'd figure I could just get the nails fixed that were damaged but no, when I arrived to the shop they stated there is a 4 day policy to which I can have a repair which isn't listed on their website or listed in the shop. The person who did my nails was off so I couldn't speak to him. Then, the "manager" called the owner to speak to me about the situation and the owner said they can only discount 20% of the service I already got done so I would need to pay more out of pocket. She also said i was being rude because I stated she shouldn't hire people who don't do nails properly because my nails weren't right based on the shape having dents and weren't concave I'm the first place. Then "management " (who stated to my boyfriend she goes by the name Marleen) explains to me SNS doesn't last long if my nails are long. My nails aren't even medium length btw. If they don't last, they shouldn't be a service. Things began to turn for the worse when I stepped In again to reason with them and "management " cursed at me and said she doesn't give a fuck and told me I can leave and closed the door on me. A tech named Kay was very rude and unsanitary. She never washed her hands or even used sanitizer going from one customer to another. She kept rubbing her eyes that looked infected. My nails were shaped horribly. Plus they added on fees that I wasn't aware of. Don't waste your time. read more

NEVER AGAIN!! I hv given it four chances! No appts! No favorite person! DIRTY! Nasty jars of flourescent product on back shelf. I absolutely would not go to the restroom. Too crowded! Very very sexual music videos while children were in the salon. Music is not relaxing! Mani/pedi is not relaxing! Very noisy! Male manager(?) constantly speaking in loud voices in his language. You can not walk straight thru because of chairs, etc in aisle, which is a hazard. I do plan to report to the Health Dept or governing agent over nail salons. As a friend of mine says "a car wash nail salon". The final straw! I use my hands while doing hair and my last visit, the nails were THICK, FULL OF GLUE, GLUE ON MY HANDS AND BLOOD FROM PULLING GLUE OFF. I did go back and and have them drill down some, but they are still stuck to the sides of my cuticles. Everyday, I'm trying to get the crap out from under and unstuck. This Salon came to our area and everybody was so happy. It was beautiful and of course clean. It continued to be clean for awhile until it started getting busy. This was my 2nd time going to diamond nails. Dre performed my fill set. I showed him pictures of how I wanted my nails before he even started, He told me that he could do it. He seem ok at first, but as he was doing my nail, I noticed he was not doing them the way I showed him so I stopped him. The young female manager came over very unexperienced, very young and did not make the situation any better. She was very unprofessional and so was he. She allowed him to continue to be rude to me in front of my kids. He made a statement that he's doing me a favor by doing my nails doing this pandemic, and I stated to him you're not doing no favor for me I'm doing you a favor by paying you to do a job. He then told me to just go ahead and get out of his chair and go somewhere else.The manager stood there the whole time. Dre made a Racist remark stating " I can't with YOU Ignorant people", as he walked towards the back of the shop.
