I'm not experienced with jewelry so I didn't realize how bad it was. I've been putting up with the prongs getting caught on everything for the last year, but I didn't wanna go back to ask for repair when they already messed it up. So I waited a year to find a new jeweler and when I took it in to Biondi jewelers the ladies jaw dropped. She could not believe that they actually did that. Her words were that I should go back and ask them for a refund. I'm just gonna move on and let y'all know that if you are not satisfied with the work you get at Vic's you should go back right away and hopefully they make it right.

We recently bought a replacement bezel for my wife's watch, so yesterday we stopped by to see if they could swap it over for us. When we asked if this was a service they could provide, not only were they friendly and attentive, the jeweler took it to his workbench and returned with the watch sporting its new bezel in only a few minutes. When we asked "how much?", he informed me that there would be no charge. Now I'm not trying to say that they won't charge you for any kind of servicing of your jewelry (our need was a quick & simple one), just that their friendliness and professionalism was exemplary and it has certainly won our future business.

I brought my mothers antique heirloom ring which I inherited when she passed away. 2 small diamond chips had fallen out and there was a slight crack where the band met the diamond. The jeweler said it would be no problem and he would have it done in a week. 10 days later I called. He said he needed to have a different jeweler look at it and he needed to take it to him in Parker. A week later I called and he said he had forgotten to take it to him but he would and get an estimate. A week later I called and he said it would be over $3,000 to fix. I was so confused because initially he said about $500. It was truly 2 small diamond chips that needed replacement. I provided him with new diamond chips. So the orginal ask was to replace the diamonds provided and fix the crack in the band. I said no thank you. I had my best friend pick it up because she lives very close to store. She brought it to me. The ring has been completely sawed in half. It is literally in 2 pieces. I am beside myself not knowing what to do. This man who calls himself a jeweler destroyed my deceased mother's ring. He should not be in business. Do not take your jewelry there. I wish I could give a 0 or a negative but 1 is the lowest star you can give.

I learned online AND called to verify that if I come here, I can get an item appraised, and…read moreeverything was confirmed that yes, I could. When I came to the store, a woman was helping me behind the counter and was basically just weighing the silver. I'm not sure how this works, I am not knowledgeable in this area, but I thought that an antique set of something is likely to be valued beyond its raw metal weight. Such as a silver coin vs antique silver jewelry vs flatware. The item itself surely impacts value other than just the weight of silver? The rarity of an item, for example, would surely impact its value, right? I don't know, but they only seemed interested in weighing the items. They were VERY VERY PUSHY in getting me to sell the items. I just wanted to start with value and had to repeat myself over and over and over, this is the first time I'm looking into this, and I'm just interested in learning the value right now. It's like they did NOT listen to the words I said at all, which is extremely frustrating. Eventually, some older man joined in the conversation, and he was one of the rudest, most aggressive people. He didn't even come over to SEE what I had yet, and was already accusing me of "not believing him" for what he was going to give me as an estimated value (in the future). How could I not "believe" something I hadn't yet been told??? He gave me a price, and then when I said, for the 4th time, I wasn't selling and was in the early stages of understanding a value, he repeated back to me multiple times, "You'll be back to sell it to me". No, you don't know what I'll be doing, and you clearly are refusing to listen to what I am telling you. I also had some coins, and same thing, they just weighed the sliver. No interest in how rare they are or anything else. He was sure to point out damage on ONE but used the same valuation for both coins that were the same. So, if only one is damaged, why wouldn't the other be worth more? I don't know, this seemed off to me. Then, to be extra rude and careless, after they removed my very neatly stacked items in a very nice carrier, they just threw everything, unorganized and piled on top of each other, messily, back into the carrier. How are you in this line of work and don't understand how to treat other people's property? The way it came to you should be the same way it's returned. So, I sat and rearranged my items back in place since they clearly were not going to do so or have any respect for me or my property. I will not sell to this rude man, even if I did decide to sell it. I walked out feeling dirty and mistreated.

When I asked whether it might be possible to complete the repair within a week, the staff laughed in my face. They did not examine the watch, ask what it needed, or simply explain that my requested timeline might be unrealistic. They just made me feel foolish for asking. What bothered me most was that my daughter witnessed the entire interaction. There was no reason to treat someone so dismissively for asking a genuine question outside their area of expertise. A knowledgeable professional should be willing to educate customers or, at the very least, treat them with basic kindness and respect. The complete lack of courtesy, combined with an unmistakable air of superiority, was honestly disgusting. There is nothing classy or impressive about using your expertise to make another person feel beneath you. I went to another shop just down the road, where I was treated kindly. They examined the watch, explained what it needed, and said it could be repaired by Friday. Expertise means very little when it is accompanied by arrogance and rudeness. Based on my experience, I would not recommend David Ellis to anyone seeking patient, respectful customer service.

Extremely helpful with showing me options and sizing and accommodating my requests to see other watches. Very knowledgeable and professional, cannot emphasize enough how great he was. Part two is for the used watch side of the business. Unfortunately I did not get the name of the employee who helped me. I asked for his card and he wouldn't give me one. To start he was super vague on the Rolex watches I inquired about. Didn't know anything about them. Then he lied to me twice saying a watch I inquired about was not in stock. After sensing I actually was looking to buy and asking if he were to find one would I buy it, I said perhaps, it depends on the watch, he walks away and comes back with the watch. He knew all along he had the watch in stock but lied to try to make a sale on finding a unicorn. I am in sales, I know what shady tactics are and this guy oozed incompetence and simple minded efforts. When I started looking at the watch and trying it on he started taking notes on his cell phone and said he will show me when we are done. I decided that particular size of the watch was not what I was looking for, and I didn't feel like paying the 2k markup he offered so I decided to think about it and perhaps revisit it when I was back in town 3 days later. As soon as I said that he showed me his notes which said "He won't buy the watch even though it is perfect." I was immediately angry. What a total sleaze ball. Insulting a customer is rarely a good sales approach. How someone that incompetent and feebleminded has a job in the luxury business is beyond me. Instead of spending 10k on a watch yesterday in your store, I walked across the aisle and bought my wife some Louis Vuitton bags. I will gladly work with Carlos in the future and Rolex AD side. You couldn't pay me to step foot in the utter failure used watch side of that business. -10/5 stars.

Last year, Isi helped us reset my wedding ring in gold, and he guided us to the perfect setting. He even let me borrow a similar ring while mine was being prepared, which was such a thoughtful touch. I absolutely love my ring! This Christmas, my husband took me back to have my mom's engagement stone set in a gold pendant with a paperclip chain. Jennifer was amazing in helping us choose the perfect setting and chain. At first, I thought the chain was too long, but it has four different clasp points, allowing it to be worn at different lengths--such an incredible detail! It's now my favorite piece of jewelry, second only to my ring. To top it off, I was lucky enough to win a gorgeous necklace at the CV football auction, and it's a gold pendant of Castle Rock and it's beautiful!
