**Disappointing Customer Service and Communication**…read more Our experience with COMUNEO has had its ups and downs, but over the last months perhaps a year, we have seen a noticeable decline in customer service and communication. Emails to our community manager, Michelle Schimmer, often go unanswered, even after multiple follow-ups. Several neighbors have shared similar experiences. The same issue occurs when contacting the assistant. What is particularly frustrating is that general announcements about pool maintenance or holiday cleaning are communicated, while important matters affecting homeowners' properties go unanswered. In our experience, interactions with the manager have also sometimes lacked the professionalism and service-oriented . One example that stands out is when a homeowner left an honest review about a vendor charging less for a service than another vendor. COMUNEO responded with a lengthy email explaining why the review was inappropriate. In that situation, Michelle was very present and actively involved. Yet when homeowners need assistance with significant property concerns, getting a response can be extremely difficult. This contrast is disappointing. I understand that managing communities is very challenging, but consistent communication, professionalism, and follow-through are essential. Growth should not come at the expense of existing customers. For HOA boards considering COMUNEO, I encourage you to speak with current homeowners and ask about response times, staff turnover, and how property-related concerns are handled. This review reflects my experience and concerns shared by other neighbors. Homeowners deserve responsive, professional, and accountable management.
