He truly is a magician.Everything about my multiple experiences was A++. Customer service, pricing, design, communication, and especially his craftsmanship is top tier.Andrew designed my first engagement ring around 2010.I returned to him again from out of state to redesign and refresh our first rings' look he had designed. A completely new design with many new diamonds.I was able to trade in and then upgrade Andrew's original custom ring from over 10+ years prior and provide my wife something different and special at our 10-year anniversary mark.I actually worked with Andrew from Maryland on my revisited experience and he made the process easy and convenient without ever having to step foot back in his Massachusetts stores.I vouch for everyone looking to get service done with my honest and utmost approval and trust in Andrew Smith service and craftsmanship. Full confidence with 0 disappointment.I would recommend Smith and Sons 1000x over to anyone who asks and would urge those considering their inventory or the need for custom designs to go no further than Smith and Sons.Thank you Andrew and I wish you all the continued best! It was a pleasure working with you both times over the years on items that could have easily been stressful, but you eliminated any such feelings with what is normally a large stressful investment with unlimited options for customers.

The owner identified the ring, (simple 14k ring with a few diamonds,) noted its features, and quickly gave me a price. Minutes later I was out the door with my cash - and satisfied with the price paid. I would definitely recommend this business if you: - Have a piece of jewelry you would like valued. - Would like more money than other gold traders. - Enjoy a riveting debate on the merits, and nature of golf. - Are looking for a decent establishment in Springfield to buy jewelry. Not to be disparaging, but I had first stopped at Gold Trader: Not only was the offer price 35% lower - the employee told me the diamonds in the ring were not real. Needless to say I sought a second opinion, and I am very happy I did so. Would recommend to friends and family. Will be returning myself. Thank you!

I reached out to a good friend of mine to ask him who he used as a jeweler for his wife's ring…read more I've seen her ring before and it was magnificent. He raved about Michael and I took the 40 or so minute drive from Newington to begin the process. Michael was absolutely amazing during the entire shopping and purchasing of the ring. His patience showed and he wanted to make sure the diamond I chose was exactly what I wanted and within my budget. Once I moved on to the setting I chose a spectacular Simon G setting. I told him that rose gold was a must, but not just any rose gold. The color could not be too orange or yellow. We discussed this with the manufacturer and he assured me the risk of getting it the exact color without dipping it was worth it. Michael delivered BIG TIME. The ring is absolutely beautiful and my gf, now fiancé, is absolutely in love with it. It's the dream ring she didn't know she wanted. Thank you to Michael and his entire staff.
