Everyone is consistently professional, kind, and welcoming, and the quality of care is excellent. Over the years, I've completed Invisalign and had my wisdom teeth removed through their office. When Dr. Devani discovered that one of my teeth had a dead nerve, he referred me to an excellent endodontist for a root canal. The procedure and recovery went smoothly, and Dr. Devani continued helping me afterward with the appearance of the tooth. Michelle has often been my dental hygienist, and she is wonderful. She is thorough with my X-rays, cleanings, and checking the health of my teeth and gums. She is also incredibly friendly and sweet, which always makes appointments more comfortable. Dr. Devani is knowledgeable, patient, and always takes the time to explain everything clearly. I also think it speaks volumes that so many members of his team have remained with the practice throughout the seven years I've been a patient. I even recommended him to my partner, who never enjoyed going to the dentist or felt motivated to attend regular checkups. Premier Smiles completely changed his perspective! I genuinely trust Dr. Devani and his team and will continue recommending Premier Smiles Dentistry to my friends and family.

I usually stick with the same Hygienist for this, as I am a creature of habit. Second, my actual Dentist always takes a look after my cleaning is done so that he can let me know if there is anything that popped up while I am there that might need attention. This is good. Now... my last two cleaning sessions literally broke my heart. The ladies at the desk have ALWAYS been very kind to me, but on these last two occasions, it was as if... I don't know... something PERSONAL was happening with me. First, she all but snapped at me when I walked up to the desk, and then DEMANDED that I "pay first"... like they used to do to Denny's patrons back in the day (which REALLY made me uncomfortable) so, according to her, "...we can all get OUT of there and go home!". Then, my usual Hygienist was not available, and I wish they had told me this beforehand, and some other... person... did the cleaning, to the point that I can honestly say that she was DEFINITELY UNHAPPY with me!! I didn't know that a simple cleaning can HURT so badly!!! At any rate, I don't know what it was that I did wrong, or who I made angry enough to deserve this treatment, but I can take a hint. No more PAIN, please. I am sorry for whatever it was that I did wrong. I have never been treated like this, not even in the U.S. ARMY. :-(

Word of caution for others: Always verify that the entire process and all scans are in-network before accepting "free" consultations or CT scans. Transferring scans can sometimes cost money, and anything that seems "free" may actually be eating up dental coverage that could have been used at your suitable in-network office! Here is why I highly recommend Cypress Smiles Dentistry: 1) Comprehensive In-House Care: They offer endodontics (including molar root canals) and implants under one roof, saving you from needing outside referrals. 2) Skilled & Gentle Clinical Team: Dr. Tuan Nguyen and his dental assistant did an amazing job with my root canal and crown, causing minimal gum irritation. 3) Outstanding Front Office: The administrative team, Heva and Emily, are super nice. A special thanks to Heva, who patiently navigated my complex insurance situation to get me the best possible quote and explained every detail clearly. 4) High-Quality Materials & Fast Recovery: The Zirconia crown they used is top quality and feels incredibly smooth. It has been a week, and I have zero pain or issues!

I like being able to see the same dentist versus revolving dentists. I also appreciate Toothworx's reasonable wait time and availability of late afternoon and weekend appointments for working adults and school-age children. In the past few years that my family received care from Dr. Faye, she had earned my trust and respect. After she performed an initial evaluation, she recommended that I see an endodontist as soon as possible. My dental benefit for that year maxed out after seeing the specialist. Basically, she only got paid for preventative dental work during my first year with her. In order to maximize her earning potential, as soon as possible, she could have recommended that I do all the other work under general dentistry first. Besides, as a business owner, one never knows how long a new patient will stay to complete the recommended treatment plan. Because she was capable of correctly diagnosing a chronic tooth infection from my x-ray (which no other dentists in recent years prior to her had caught), she helped me solve and address a medical mystery. Because I experienced no pain from my problematic tooth, which already had a root canal, I did known the source of my infection. Nonetheless, the infection kept showing up in my annual blood & urine labs. Antibiotics did no lasting good. Dr. Faye is the dentist and owner for both Toothworx and iSmile (another highly reviewed dental office at Lakewood). My only complaint is that my dentist is too successful in serving the community and cannot physically be at both practices at the same time.

Starting with a consultation, Dr. Kang's knowledge and professionalism was immediately apparent, and gave me the confidence to select him for what could be a problematic implant removal and replacement. Dr. Kang took a strong interest in my case and even contacted the implant manufacturer for my specific type of implant, who volunteered whatever technical assistance may be required to remove the damaged fixture. Within a few weeks I had an appointment and Dr. Kang went to work. After a reasonable amount of time and considering this was a difficult situation, he was able to remove the damaged implant and prepare the gum for a new crown, using state-of-the-art electronic measuring equipment. Two weeks later he installed my new crown which fit and functioned perfectly. I couldn't have asked for a better result in what I previously thought might be a hopeless situation. The price was very reasonable and Dr. Kang's staff did a wonderful job assisting him. On top of the excellent workmanship, Dr. Kang is very friendly, easy to talk to and takes a sincere interest in his patient's understanding of the process and their overall satisfaction. I am grateful for the excellent care that was provided and highly recommend Dr. Kang for anyone that may be considering an implant.

I've been coming to this practice for about 25-30 years. I absolutely Love the care & treatment…read moreI've received there over the years, plus all the staff were really really great. Sadly with the passing of Dr. Kanemaki (Lord rest his soul) and the selling of part of his practice, practically everyone there now is new. My 1st visit there last year was because my tooth had cracked and I needed a crown. Thankfully I got 1 out of the 2 original doctors left there treated me, but all the assistance were new. When I went back for the actual crown to be put in the assistant had a hard time getting it to fit right, it took quite a while and quite a few times for her to get it in. After that visit I felt as if my crown didn't feel right but I thought it maybe because I was feeling a little soreness from the amount of tries when putting it in and it being new. Unfortunately my crown continued to not feel right and then a little aching started, and unpleasant pain when chewing. I know I needed to go get it checked out but life got busy and I just delt with it until I couldn't take it anymore. Which brings me to present day, just about 1year after the original placing of my crown. I called and they were able to see me in 2 days. When I got there, once again everyone was new to me, and upon checking in the receptionist said she didn't see that I had an appointment. I explained to her that I had called 2 days ago and was told I could be seen on this day. She proceeded to tell me that she didn't see anything down for me and that maybe I called their other office. I said no, I called the office I'm in right now. Before she could say anything another gal there in the front office (who was on a call but I'm sure she heard everything) she jumped in and said to me "It's okay Ma'am have a seat, we will see you shortly." As I was waiting I was able to observe a few of the office staff and dental assistants doing their jobs, but not one of them looked familiar. When I got called back, there were 2 assistants clearly going back and forth as to who was going to take me (pretty awkward). But thankfully the assistant Floř that I ended up with was very very nice and friendly. I had asked her which doctor I was going to be seen by and she told me Dr. Robin. I asked if the original doctor I had seen last year was available. She said no, he was no longer there that he retired. I was a little sad to hear this news. I asked for the only 1 original doctor left which is Dr. Trent Kanemaki but he wasn't working in that office that day. Unfortunately he only works in the Buena Park office 2 days a week. So I was seen by Dr.Robin, she was very nice and thoroughly explained everything that may have been going on with my crown and what needs to be done to fix the problem. I now need a root canal, she referred me to see a specialist for evaluation & CT scan before proceeding with the root canal which is normally procedure. All in all despite the fact that I need a root canal, I feel good and am satisfied with the service & experience I received from Dr.Robin and dental assistant Floř. I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for the situation upon checking in. Hopefully everything works out great for my future appointments with ALL the staff there in the Buena Park office.
