It came out of nowhere - I was…read morejust there a few months ago and never had this been mentioned to me before so I wanted to get a second opinion. I called Fresh Orthodontics and got an appointment two days later. The office is really nicely designed ("Fresh" is an apt name"), I was given x-rays and seen by Mark and Dr. Khanna right away who gave me an exam, a very thorough and honest explanation of what's going on in my mouth, and didn't pressure me or make me feel bad. On top of that, the Invisalign would be over $1000 cheaper here than at my dentist. I will be visiting again in 6-12 months to see how my teeth have progressed and if I should get the Invisalign, but it was incredibly helpful not to feel like they were going to try to sell me the Invisalign no matter what and that it would be okay if I didn't get it right away. All the staff including Dr. Khanna and Mark were extremely friendly, patient, helpful, and generally kind people. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, this place is absolutely impossible to deal with. I have been asking at every visit for a price breakdown of what braces would cost . I was told they would send me something via email in the next day two . However, 2 years later, I still never received a cost breakdown. I was told that my daughter needed to have oral surgery. The oral surgeon needed a referral from the orthodontist. This took no less than 10 phone calls and then finally two in person visits over the course of three weeks to get a simple referral sent to the surgeon for what they had asked me to do. It is so hard to get people on the phone. I'm glad to say I went to another location down the street and we got more done in our 30 minute appointment then I got done at fresh in two years. The orthodontist himself seems very nice but the administration and staff and fresh are incompetent.

I provided my insurance in advance and was assured that my out-of-pocket fee would be $72. After my appointment, when I checked out, I was told that only $72 was due and no further amounts would be due. Nearly 3 months later, I received a bill for another $14, even though my insurance provided Tend the expected reimbursement. It's such a small amount it's not worth fighting, but it's highly unethical, and they lost me a customer. The service also wasn't great - I arrived on time and I still had a long wait for the hygienists and the actual dentist. The visit took about an hour, which is far longer than my previous dentist.

Dear Potential Customers, Court Street Dental has tragically…read morelost its integrity and customer service way, and patients have become dispensable causalities in their chosen path to practicing greed. The days where Dr. Jeff Strachan's expertise and compassion placed a beautiful smile on your face, because you knew he truly cared, are sadly gone since he retired. This new group is built on strictly profits over people and their new staff members have callously adapted well to shaking down patients with an attitude of arrogance, obnoxiousness and entitlement. They will make you feel uncomfortable to ask them questions about their billing methods and outrageous fees. They will charge you $120 for a missed appointment and they will even threaten to bill you during a local weather advisory storm. Keep in mind that they do not participate in most insurance plans so if you are worker with great benefits, be prepared to pay out of pocket and no one in his office will be concerned about your out of network cost. They will simply offer you to go into debt through their third-party financing agreement (payment plans) with Care Credit, on top of your biweekly work deductions. So save yourself the unnerving pain of paying to be disrespected and instead spend your valuable time seeking your dental care from an office who has not opted to become your local friendly neighborhood "tooth sharks"

The front office staff is nice and accommodating. The dental specialist / doctors do a great job at getting your pearly whites nice and clean. They've got a brand new facility too as they recently moved across the hall in the building. The views and aesthetics are very pleasing.

I asked multiple times if there was any way to confirm my insurance coverage before coming in, and they said that was not possible. When I arrived for my consultation, the person working the front desk was able to tell me that they did not take my insurance just from me providing the name of my insurance (which I had provided over the phone). I asked why they could not have told me this over the phone to spare me coming in for no reason, and the front desk person said "I don't know why the person who took your call didn't tell you that." I will say that everyone who I interacted with in person was nice and courteous, but I was frustrated that the person who took my call mislead me and wasted my time.

So I asked them if they can book the appointment for my son to fill his cavities along with nitrous oxide because they had done it before. The receptionist was reluctant but she still booked it anyway. The day of appointment the female dentist approached my mother and snootily asked for us to book the appointment in the morning for next time. Like okayy, can we try to fill my son's cavities first. Then my mom spoke to my son and he agreed to listen to music and close his eyes while the needle came out and everything went smooth, no thanks to the dentist or staff. My complaint is that this is a PEDIATRIC dental office. Of course the kids may have anxieties when a needle come out. Instead they make snooty remarks and make it seem like my son is a difficult patient which is uncalled for. I've never experienced this with the dentist of the past that was here when we started coming about 10 years ago. It may be time to switch definitely since we're being treated like this
