My boyfriend and I came here the other day so he could play pool. He loves the pool tables here so we try to come out when we can to this location, though it is a little ways out from us. The staff is really friendly for a pool hall. The place is relatively clean in the bathrooms are really clean which I absolutely appreciate being that I don't get into the sport of pool, I like to be in a pool hall that is clean and with clean bathrooms while I'm there a few hours as he plays. I had a buffalo chicken wrap and we order a side of onion rings, and my boyfriend had one of the burgers. Everything came out really good. The Firecracker Burger is delicious, I love heat and this doesn't have a ton but it has great flavor. The staff has ways been great and the food comes out quick even when they were busy. The Billiards tables looked to be in great shape although I don't play much the ambiance here was exactly what I'd want if I played more. Why didn't I know this was in Midlothian? We started at one restaurant in the complex, a bust, went to another, a bust, went to another, a bust, and as we were walking to another new restaurant...we found this little gem tucked into the corner. Robert, an amazing employee, invited us in and we had award winning hamburgers ( serious awards guys) and jerk chicken wraps. Wow!!! How am I in a pool hall with amazing food?? We played 2 games of pool and had a delicious dinner with drinks, "are you ready for this" For much LESS than any other restaurant in the area. This might just be one of the best Midlothian secrets. A great place to play a game of pool, and their food options were good. I had a flat bread pizza that was $9, which was pretty tasty for bar food. A nice friendly pool hall, the regulars play in tournament fashion in middle tables, and outside tables are for players coming to play for fun. Star members were friendly, and the place was clean. I was surprised to see kids playing pool, but I think they were there with their dads...which makes it kind of sweet. Overall, a fun place for guys or girls night out. read more

My wife and I went here because a friend who is in several billiards leagues recommended this place to us. This friend said the pool tables were nice and the food was really good. We got there and it was pretty crowded for Friday around lunchtime. The hostess assigned us a pool table and let us know that we got two free hours of pool with our lunch order. If we went beyond two hours, it would be $6 per person per hour. We ordered the Jerk Chicken Wrap with French Fries, Steak and Cheese Egg Rolls and Crab Cakes with Sweet Potato Waffle Fries. We began playing pool while the food was cooked and the wrap and crab cakes came out fairly quickly. We both enjoyed the wrap and crab cakes. I enjoyed the fries and my wife enjoyed the sweet potato waffle fries. The egg rolls took longer and were good when dipped in the cheese sauce. We agreed that we wouldn't order the egg rolls again but the rest of the food was very good. The soda options were limited so my wife got water but I was good with Diet Pepsi. We would really love to have Diet Dr. Pepper available as that is our favorite. The pool tables were nice and we used the pool sticks that were provided in house. Unlike other billiards places, the pool sticks here were not labeled to indicate their weight in ounces. We will definitely be back as the food was good and the pool playing experience was great. My boyfriend and I wanted to shoot some pool and have some drinks on Memorial Day. We decided to check out Diamond Billiards since our regular pool halls were packed. Diamond Billiards is a great find! It is super clean and all the pool tables are nice. I love that this pool hall is smoke free, which is awesome. You leave most pool halls smelling like a pack of Newports, but not here! The price for pool was $10/hourly. Not too bad. Worth the surcharge for the ambiance. The crowd was chill, no raucous or drunkards. Just groups having a good time. It was awesome. The food was typical bar fare but very good. We had wings and southwest egg rolls, washed down with a few cold, Bold Rocks on draft. The bartender/hall manager was laid back but nice. The music played mostly 70's rock but we didn't mind at all. We will be back for my pool and drafts, probably during happy hour to take advantage of the deals they offer! read more

Equipment is perfect/new condition. That would be enough for any pool hall to get 5 stars. Pool was FREE on Saturday, as long as we bought a drink or two (some REALLY small minimum - $5 maybe?) Food was large - we got nachos and was enough for 2. I was so happy with the place I ended up buying a new que! They even have a separated off area - 3 tables - so that guys who are super serious (and likely putting some sort of stakes on their games) will not be disturbed by the rest of us 99% who aren't quite on their level or even 3 or 4 levels down- that's a service to both them and us, because you really wouldn't want to bug somebody accidentally that had something riding on their game... I've played pool all my life. I own a high quality food business, ranked #4 out of 4399 in DC: If I ever had the money to put together a pool hall - this is the one I'd make if I could afford it. Great job guys. Side note - every good business deserves to make money. I hope the Free pool for just $5 in food is enough to sustain the business. (it would be a shame if this place ever went away. Most people expect to pay an hourly. Not sure why this place isn't worth it; of all the places I've played, the tables and nice space here are certainly worth a charge. Great place if you really just want to shoot pool in a relaxed atmosphere. The equipment was all well kept , including the straight pool cues, so no using that as an excuse for your missed shot. On Saturday nights the rates are really reasonable. They have lots of different beer on tap and bottled. I ordered the chili and grilled cheese sandwich which I figured, would be enough to stave off the hunger pains, but no , it was a big bowl and you and your date could share it and not go hungry. This place is definitely more classy than most pool halls and less noisy and bothersome than the typical arcade type pool table setups. The bartender / waiter/maitre'd was helpful without being pushy. I would have given it 5 stars but some of the tables were a little close to obstacles like bar tables and chairs that were in between the rows of tables. Took my family here last Saturday and had a amazing time. The service was great nice warm welcome they offered us drinks right away really quick service. The nice lady checked up on us without bothering us refilled our drinks made good conversation. The equipment and tables are all keep really well just a really great space you can bring your kids and not have to worry about the surrounding or smoke as it is smoke free just a really lovely place. BILLIARDS REVIEW ONLY ---I am not reviewing the restaurant. The pool hall is very nice. I loved the fast table speeds. This was my first time here and many of the regulars seemed happy with this place. Playing pool for the past couple of years, you learn that when pool locals are happy, then the establishment generally takes good care of their tables. They have 8-footers with automatic ball return. The racks are metal and make cowbell sounds when you try to set the rack. I believe they have 15 tables, plus/minus 1-2. I played in the Saturday night 8-ball Chips Tournament. This was a new format to me. If you are unfamiliar with the format, they assign 'chips' to every player based upon skill. They use your APA/BCA league ratings. The higher skill level you are, the less chips you get. The lower skill level you are, the more chips you get. You lose one chip for every loss. Once you lose all of your chips, you are out of the tournament. When it gets down to the final 4, they draw balls and play it out to see who is the last one standing with 'chips.' It is an interesting format that is like a continuous running round-robin. If you win, you remain at the table and rack the balls for the incoming player to break. If you lose, you tell the tournament director and wait to hear your name and table. There may be a bit of waiting involved depending on the number of players, tables used, and amount of people with more chips than you. They try to narrow down all chip players down at same pace. My biggest complaint was that they advertised the tournament starting at 8PM, but they didn't start until 9PM. Once it started though, it did seem to run smoothly. So I give them credit for that. However, one regular did tell me they never start on time. I made it to the money round and they started that by 1AM. So if you anticipate to play, take time into consideration according to your skill level. They also have horse track betting. I asked some people about that and it is just like betting if you are the horse track. I will Yelp again when I actually bet myself to review my personal experiences. I also asked about the poker tournaments. Some of the regulars told me it gets really hectic and crowded on league nights. I will also review when I actually play in one. read more

The service is always attentive and kind, the food is pretty good, and they have done a great job keeping their equipment and tables in excellent condition.
