Any how it all starts when my New to me Vehicle starts Knocking I take it into Manley Motors for Service thier service technicians can't hear anything wrong with this motor. My Friend goes over on his lunch who is a mechanic at Boyers Chev and had already diagnosed the problem as lower end knock, and points this out all of sudden they can hear the noise but it insist it is a lifter causing the issue anyhow they decide they can't work on it this week due to getting a new hoist installed on the monday so for the weekend I take it home (does this sound like a lifter) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OWI64EQ4amA&t=6s So I take it home for the weekend am told by John that Doug probably will not repair vehicle due to me not buying it from Manley Motors he makes 25.00 less / hour on warranty work when the vehicle is not purchased at Manley Motors (this was said in front of my mechanic friend) Anyhow Monday night comes around and I drop if off @ Manley Motors for the repair.. again they are insisting that the noise is comming from the valve train They replace all lifters on the left side (this takes 3 weeks) I was surpposed to be ready the previous thursday but according to John (service manager) they had to take it apart again because all the push rods had been installed wrong. I was like what kind of damage is this going to cause being the Hemi 5.7 is a interference engine. John said this would not hurt anything ok news to me especailly since they been running for at least a day.. anyhow finally the day comes I get a phone call at 10:00 am your vehicle is repaired no more noises .. great I leave the keys in it Ill pick it up after work and leave the rental vehicle .. I get there and start it up Sept 11 2018 start it up and guess what the the lifter job did not fix the knocking problem is still there https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cCijyoAHmwA I decide to leave the vehicle there and take the rental home with me because I have no other mode of transportation and call them at 8:00am John is busy outside I am told they will have him call me back .. a few hours go by and I decide to call back when John informs me they can not hear any thing wrong with the truck and its fixed and I am responsible for the rent on the rental they will not be doing anything else to the truck because it is fixed and this is all my imagination . Oh one more thing before I go.. Don't leave anything valuable in your vehicle as their mechanics will take it with the excuse they though it was theirs ...

As it was the end of the season, I decided to let them winterize my RV since they were going to be doing this maintenance, otherwise, I would have winterized it myself per usual. When I booked it in, I was told to empty the tanks. When I picked up my RV, I was told they couldn't find the by-pass switch so they cut a new one. And since I had emptied my tanks, they couldn't check my hot water tank. Rather than over react to this news, I went home to think about what they had done. Disappointed in the fact that they didn't call me to find out where the by-pass was located and proceeded to cut a new one and charge me for it; disappointed that they didn't provide the service of checking the hot water heater as requested, I phone back to talk to the owner's daughter to express my disappointment in a calm, rational way. I was told that they have trained technicians and I shouldn't be questioning their work. I was told I would not be compensated for their mistakes and lack of service as requested and not to come back again. So needless to say, I'm extremely disappointed in their service all the way around. They obviously don't value their customers. I would not recommend anyone I know to use this service.
