This is the worst courier that you could have choose for a delivery. If you pay for express shipping, you won't get it express. Paying for DHL service is like throwing money in the trash. If you have no problem with throwing away money, then by all means use their service. The customer service workers are rude. When you ask to speak to management, the worker will hang up the call. Workers apologizing is no help when the drivers do whatever they want to do. Instead of apologizing write up these non-compliant workers and/or give them some unpaid time off That way, the workers will take their jobs seriously rather than allowing the workers to get away with antagonizing customers. I will make it my duty to NEVER use DHL. I will ensure that business owners using DHL will no longer use your services. In the last hour, I have spoken with several business owners who said that DHL provides the worst service of all the couriers available. Now, what does that say to you? I'll tell you exactly what it says. It says do NOT use DHL. PERIOD. DHL workers act as if they aren't consumers. Maybe if DHL ditch them, they would understand how customers feel. 0 star would have been more appropriate. My wife had contact lenses shipped from Hong Kong via DHL. The lenses never arrived as DHL insists on FDA codes and the manufacturer does not have one as it does not market in the US. The lenses are in limbo and DHL wants to charge $30 a day. I don't understand why they did not flag the requirement when the package was consigned. Instead DHL happily took the fee. What a company!!!! read more

Utterly terrible. They keep telling me my package is in Australia...my package was being sent from Australia and today at 8:41AM I received an update saying it had just gone through Los Angeles Gateway CA and would be here at 12PM...it's an hour and a half later and still no package. This particular delivery is a custom dress that I need for a big event tomorrow so I call to ask if I can just pick it up because I need this freaking dress that was custom made and literally hundreds of dollars. Both times I call the reps barely speak English and tell me they don't know where my package is because it's in Australia. I tell them they're wrong I'm looking online and it says it was in LA at 8:41 AM and that I just want to know where it is or at least update the delivery to be delivered without a signature so I can run the errands I need to run today as it was not here at noon like it was supposed to be. In all honesty they seem incapable of any kind of common sense or the mental capacity to even work in any capacity whatsoever if they can't figure out where my package is and can even tell me accurate information. This DHL distribution center in Las Vegas provides Terrible service... They make it a policy to Never answer the phone... Our OVERNIGHT package sat in their office for over one full week and nothing we could do to get delivery. Our calls, when we could get through, were ignored. The main USA office for DHL was also unable to get anything done. --- Our original delivery address was in Utah, but DHL reports that Utah is a "remote location" and they don't go there very often. So we changed our delivery address from Utah to Las Vegas - on the same road (Charleston Blvd) as the DHL Office (less than 12 miles away) but still DHL would not deliver our package... After SEVEN days our package is still sitting in the DHL office at 1736 E Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89104 - We will NEVER use DHL again. Holy hell they really are that bad. It's like someone designed this company with the sheer intent to make shipping as difficult as possible. Like SO MANY OTHERS, I got an "attempted delivery" message on my tracking number when I was literally home all day. Even if they were here, they didn't follow policy and leave the "we missed you" card that they promise. I didn't even realize I missed it until a few days after this supposed attempt that definitely never happened. So I call customer service, got an automated message that they couldn't help with my tracking number. Went online to attempt redelivery, they wouldn't even recognize my tracking number! It came up as invalid in every way I tried it. In fact, the only way that I could see the package tracking was through the email that the company I bought it from sent me. So I call again, stayed on hold for HOURS, gave up. Sent an inquiry online, no answer so far. Called again, FINALLY spoke to a real person. She says that my tracking number didn't come up because it's handled by a sub warehouse (whatever that means????) and transfers me to that company's number. I've been waiting for a call back now for hours. Something tells me it's never gonna come. So now I get to look forward to driving across town tomorrow to this site to try and figure out where the hell my package is. Please just use something else. It's not just a couple disgruntled people on yelp, everyone I've talked to has had issues with DHL. I would give negative stars if I could. read more

If I were able to rate with a negative score, I would. First, I have been home waiting for my delivery and I have ring. Ring records anyone that approaches and notifies you through your phone someone is coming. I received an automated text that said the driver attempted to deliver the package. I called DHL office because I was home and have ring, and NOBODY came to my door. When I spoke to the manager Daniel Garcia, he was insisting that the driver came despite me not having footage of any delivery nor a "Sorry we missed you" door hanger. I am so disappointed that the manager would assist his employee in lying and speak to a customer so condescendingly. Late deliveries are great!! 8 pm is nice for when I'm off work. It takes a couple extra days sometimes cause they delivery early but don't leave on 1st delivery. But second delivery comes later in the day which was awesome. 8 pm is late to delivery but you guys do it. read more

I had been waiting for an overseas shipment for a month. The DHL driver came to my door and tapped on my door with his phone so quietly that my door laying by the door didn't hear him. I have a video door bell and I later discovered the video. Why he wouldn't have rang the bell as opposed to using his phone to TAP the door is beyond me. Gee, just noticed Kay A.'s post similar to mine. Sounds like that is not an uncommon problem. I am going to a store and show them the video. This person should recieve a warning. He was at my door for maybe a grand total of 30 seconds!!! And back in the truck in probably in less then a minute. Normally I avoid leaving negative reviews. However this time it just needs to be out there. a couple days ago I got a text from DHL alerting me that an important package was going to be delivered that same day. Checked my email and it also showed on the DHL website that I could expect delivery that day. I called the DHL customer service to confirm this and was told "Yes it will be delivered by 8 pm and requires my signature". I took off work and went home to wait. Nobody came. The next morning I started calling DHL at 8 am. The customer service line told my it would maybe be delivered by 4 or so. Eventually after 2 hours of escalation I found out the package was still at the local warehouse. I went and picked it up myself. At the warehouse I was told by a snooty manager that I myself had changed the delivery date??? Way to CYA DHL. Very lame. Bad customer service. Never use again. read more
