They actually have a Nurse Practitioner in charge. So the name, MedSpa = medical spa. They are probably the only local spa who offers IV infusions which you normally have to go to Houston for. The Myers infusion is awesome for fibromyalgia, and a shot of glutathione can be added. Some fibromyalgia patients come weekly and have gotten off prescription medications. They also offer cosmetic injectables, body contouring, spider vein treatment, tattoo removal, lash extensions, etc., and they are the only spa to offer the hydrafacial MD treatment. They actually sit and talk to you in depth to determine what is best for you in every aspect. The staff are professional and extremely friendly and attentive. She did not tell me how much she was going to do befpre beginning, and ended up doing way more than we discussed. I had a large knot in between my eyes for over a month at one of the injection sites. I was not happy with the fact that they gave me more than I wanted, which made my treatment double the price I intended to pay. I had a large goose egg in between my eyes for almost 2 months so I went to other places for followup treatments. The other places around town were wonderful, they did as much as they said they were going to, and I never had any lumps or problems. I decided to try health & Wellness again today because they had a May special for $10 a unit, and a quick appointment opening. Today I talked with the practitioner and discussed what I wanted, and past problems with the lump. I told her I usually get 11 units because I've never done more than 11 without an issue. I also prefer a more natural look, and know I can always come back for additional injections once I see how the 11 turn out & settle. She began the injections and then told me that she did eight units alone in between my eyebrows, which is where they gave me the lump before. (Other places I have been to and told about the lump I got there stayed away from that area in general, and only spread out 11-12 along the forehead. ) when I went to pay after the appointment I was told that they used 20 units. That is almost double what I told her I would like to get when we discussed what I would like. Out of two visits here I have had two very questionable experiences with this place and left feeling extremely frustrated both times. It is safe to say that I will never return to Health & Wellness. There are many other places in town that I've had great experiences with, and great results. I thought after so many years I would give them another chance, but after today I will never return.

When I have problems with my bills, the billing department helps me take care of it and explain everything thoroughly to me. My mom and I see Dr. Moore (who is no longer there) but she was awesome. I haven't been back since Dr. Moore left but my mom has and she sees Dr. Gayle and she is so sweet and explains my mom's results to her very throughly. I like that, you go in a week before your actually doctor appointment for your Lab work which takes me between 20-45 minutes and you're done. Then a week later, you go in and the doctor will read your results. I always schedule my appointments in the mornings and I am usually out of there in about an hour or so. When I had a sick visit, they schedule right away. I called on a monday and was able to see the doctor on a tuesday.
