She hit every sore spot, working out the knots and bringing much needed relief. The price of 75 per hour was also nice as well. My mother is in her mid 60s, suffers from chronic rheumatoid arthritis, has had scoliosis and like many of us, sometimes finds herself cleaning, bending and organizing a little too hard :) She severely strained her back recently and was just about immobile for a week. Every time we spoke - could hear the pain in her voice and she was starting to worry that it was a more serious condition. She applied heat and cold packs - neither worked. She considered going to one of those quick medic offices (that cost an outrageous amount of money to be given pain medication and be told to rest). After quite some pushback, I got her to agree to get a a masseuse that had expertise in medical massages. My mom has maybe had three massages in her life - one real about 10 years ago and the rest at those quick spots you find in the mall. I found Twilight online and unlike others that had limited opening hours, was able to schedule something ASAP. My mom called me immediately when leaving - she raved about how comfortable the place was (ie remember she's not used to this) and most important, she raved that Marquita's massage gave her immediate pain relief. I filled out a brief form detailing my massage therapy history, needs, and medical history. This was my first massage session. Marquita did a great job helping me pinpoint exactly what areas I wanted to target and ensuring that I got the most out of my session time. She was very personable and took her time with my massage. I was so relaxed at the end of my session and rather than rushing me out, she encouraged me to take my time getting up and dressed once I was ready. Very relaxing - which is hard for me - so for those that are newer to massage therapy - I recommend trying it for sure at A Twilight Massage. I went in to get a targeted massage and foot scrub and let me tell you Marquita is awesome! The nicest person ever! She makes you feel like she's your friend!
