They actually have a Nurse Practitioner in charge. So the name, MedSpa = medical spa. They are probably the only local spa who offers IV infusions which you normally have to go to Houston for. The Myers infusion is awesome for fibromyalgia, and a shot of glutathione can be added. Some fibromyalgia patients come weekly and have gotten off prescription medications. They also offer cosmetic injectables, body contouring, spider vein treatment, tattoo removal, lash extensions, etc., and they are the only spa to offer the hydrafacial MD treatment. They actually sit and talk to you in depth to determine what is best for you in every aspect. The staff are professional and extremely friendly and attentive. (Only negative--she could have brushed all the hair off of me after!!) ------------------ October 2015 2 months later; I was in town for a HS homecoming game and thought I'd get a touch up. Since the first cut in August from shoulder length to above the collar--was shorter than I've ever worn it and a brand new look/cut for me---it just needed a little tweaking. I wanted my 2 front cow licks to lay right after blow drying & the sides (by my ears) not be so heavy (I showed her) She seemed distracted because I shouldn't feel rushed--and that I don't have her undivided attention---but, I did. The tweak? To "me", my hair looks exactly the same--doesn't flow. I was in and out of salon in 20 min tops. Not sure, I will go back. Sad. I bought a gift card on Tuesday for $325 for a spa day at Tina's for my wife. That night, she said,…read more"Oh, I've been there before. It's old and funky and not a spa experience." So Wednesday morning, I called Tina's to ask for a refund for the gift card. I explained that it was never used and that we decided to go somewhere else. Edward, who answered the phone said, "We can't give refunds for gift cards." So I went to Square's website where I actually bought the card (linked from Tina's site). Their rep told me that Tina's could, in fact, issue a refund for a gift card and even gave me a link to share with them: https://squareup.com/help/us/en/article/6168-refund-to-gift-card-in-the-square-point-of-sale-app. I called Edward back and tried to share the link. He said, "The owner knows how to use the Square app." So I asked him to have the owner call me. Later that day (yesterday), someone named Alicia (not the owner) called and told me, " We don't give refunds for gift cards." I explained that I just bought it yesterday and it had never been used and I offered to give her the link to the refund instructions. She refused and got hostile with me telling me they have to pay $8 for each gift card issued. I told her I would be happy to reimburse them for the $8 if I can get my $325 back. Then, I asked to speak to the owner, Tina, and was told she would not be available until after Easter. I'm sharing this story because I've been in business for 30+ years and I would never treat anyone like this. If a customers asks for a refund and I have not yet delivered any product or service to them, they are entitled to that refund. And telling them, "that's our policy" wouldn't cut it!

If you walk-in during peak hours (lunch time, after work) you might wait for a longer amount of time than if you go during the morning or afternoon. If you want to avoid waiting, call ahead to make an appointment. The waiting area has several couches for you to sit and has a television showing daytime television. For longer services, like facials (microdermabrasion, peels), you need to call ahead to make an appointment. The quality of the eyebrow threading is high. I usually ask for them to remain thick, for the stray hairs to be taken out, as well as to have the shape enhanced. When I first started coming here, I had a goal of growing my eyebrows in towards the center about one centimeter each. Throughout my life I'd 'over-plucked' my eyebrows, and this is not on-point with current trends. The beautician recommended certain oils to promote hair growth, and shaped my eyebrows to look nice during my transition phase. My eyebrows are now how I want them to look, and I come here for maintenance when I'm in town. After each visit, the end result is just what I want, and the beauticians are knowledgeable and kind. If you've never tried eyebrow threading before, this is the perfect salon to try it. My mom also comes here for threading, and has her eyebrows color tinted to a darker shade. She loves it, and the results are exactly what she wants.

The issue was with the front desk and the lady in charge of billing. They have no clue of what they are doing or they act like it . On the front desk. They charged me a copay that i should not have paid, I asked the lady in charge of billing to please call my insurance to verify as the day before when I went for my appointment they asked me for a copay. I went back to the office with insurance paperwork to show them my coverage she refused to look at it and to call the insurance company. They claim they take a deposit , what the he'll for that has never happens to me before. They kept insisting I have a big deductible when I don't. I just got irritated and cancel all my appointments. They did not seem to care. What has happened to customer service these days. Cant deal with unprofessional people. Will find another doctor.
