    Seafood special over rice.

Arrived on a Tuesday at 5pm when the restaurant opens. Sat at the bar where I was greeted by a bartender who obviously knew what she was doing. The mule I ordered was perfectly made. This place is very cute, comfy, and homey. Great place to chill out and have a nice meal. I just wish the food was not so disappointing considering it is a bit pricey. At a lower price point, I might be more forgiving. I had a small salad that consisted of merely greens, sliced almonds, and mandarin oranges. The fish special was good, but nothing special. I wasted calories on the key lime pie that was, again, ok but nothing special. Within 45 minutes the place was packed so be sure to make a reservation. However, I agree with another reviewer who said the food at Lucy's across the street is better.

Best sushi I've had so far. Super fresh. A little pricey but always worth it. I love their bruschetta appetizer as well. And the pineapple jalapeno margarita is FIRE. love it.

    Cowboy and big bend rolls

Food was good but a little pricey. The rolls are big but some rolls were up to $24 and I just don't think that they need to charge that. Especially when there are other great sushi places that are similar rolls hitting around $17. Also dessert was $10... probably $6 at best. Cocktails were good priced around $13 and up. Miso soup $6... seaweed salad $10... It was nice to try once but I'm not sure I'd go back unless it's for a weekly special. Service was the best part!! Also the inside was small but cute. For 2 ppl we spent well over $130. I'd definitely recommend making a reso on a Friday night. It was very busy.

FGT's with tomato jam and goat cheese is just a great as before. So good! I deleted the previous pick in which my wife had swiped one before I got back from the bar. LOL. Here's an unmolested order.

Craving sushi and had never been here so had to try it! Started out with the smoked tuna dip and some cocktails. Very refreshing and delicious! We each got a few different sushi rolls. They were good. Not the best sushi I've ever had (I've had a lot of sushi) but pretty good sushi. We didn't make a reservation and had to sit outside in the middle of august which was less than ideal... so make a reservation ppl!!

My wife and I stopped in with friends last night, Thursday, for dinner at approximately 6 PM. We were happy to see that the place was not fully packed. That said, however, it was much fuller when we left after 8 PM. We open with adult beverages and their bruschetta. Must say that they do know how to make wonderful cocktails there and the bruschetta was huge And delicious! For our meals, my wife went for their steak while I decided on getting a couple of their rolls. All the meals were absolutely perfectly presented and delicious! Our waitress was professional, helpful, and friendly. Only our second time visiting, but we know why they're always so busy! Great place to stop!

Had the miso soup and tuna dip for app's, they were great. DELICIOUS sushi. Staff was very nice and we got seated quickly. Sat outside and it was beautiful and quiet out. Sushi took a little while to come out considering the restaurant wasn't packed but it was worth it. The Big papi was my favorite, then the panhandle, then spicy tuna. Would definitely eat here again.

Located in one of Pensacola's historic districts, I was really excited to go. Arriving inside, the decor is a mix of blues and a hodgepodge of pictures, mirrors, etc. with a bustling staff. I was seated quickly, but the service was slow - very slow. I ordered two sushi rolls, which took over 25 minutes to receive. I was very disappointed as the rolls had zero creativity in plating, and the cold rolls - being more room-temp than cool or cold, which sushi should be served at, as a standard. Street parking is available, and seating is a little tight in certain areas. It was comforting to see that the hostess was fastidious with her Covid precautions - mask with frequent antibacterial cleansing. I really wanted to like Dharma Blue, but for sushi, I cannot recommend.

Decent food that took a long time to come out. Server was very friendly though. Started with the calamari and bruschetta, both of which were really tasty. The sushi itself was quite mid. Cheeseburger was juicy, indeed classic. Overall vibe was chill, interesting art of the wall to look at.

    5 rolls to try!

We tried for the Monday special ($2 off rolls when you dine in) and were not disappointed! The rolls are a tad more expensive than most places in the area but they are very unique and delicious. I recommend trying the sunset roll - so different! The drinks were great too - they have a huge "mule" menu. The restaurant itself is in an adorable, walkable little area full of historic homes. My only recommendation would be that they play some soft music inside or outside as it was very quiet. But that may be an ordinance for the area because we noticed that most restaurants nearby didn't have music.

Where do I even begin?…read more We had our wedding at Garden & Grain this weekend and it was absolutely flawless. I have to start with the most important parts of our day which were Cara & Jadyn, our event coordinators and Nick & Jesse, our bartenders. Cara and Jadyn were literal earth-movers and magic makers. These two helped us get everything decorated and torn down with absolute ease (and we had an awful lot of decor we brought in.) By the time we moved into the ceremony, Jadyn was everywhere ensuring we started when we were ready, the guests were ready for us to enter, and just made us feel so at ease. We heard from so many guests that they didn't even realize the chairs got moved from the garden into the grainhouse between because it was so fast and flawlessly executed. These folks were so stealthy bringing 75 chairs between different spaces. Bravo. Our caterer was just arriving as we were about the walk the aisle. We had no idea the chaos that was ensuing behind the scenes that Jadyn and the team worked out as quickly as possible and without our guests even recognizing there was a delay in the start time of the food service. Obviously catering is a huge part of the day, and it would have been so stressful had we realized they were 30+ minutes behind. The execution of our wedding could not have happened flat out without these two wonderful people. We are so grateful for you both, Cara and Jadyn. You deserve all the praise in the world and are absolutely amazing event coordinators. Oh, and Jadyn, thanks for never letting us have a drink less than half full - your impeccable attention to detail is what every event coordinator should strive for. Now, the other critical aspect to a wedding is bar service. Nick and Jesse had those drinks flowing non stop all night. There was never a guest waiting in line or without a drink from before the ceremony to last moments. Our guests were complimenting all night on how amazing the bar service was. We are a family with one side from New Orleans, we know how to party and going into it with 2 bartenders for 75 people who know how to have a good time was an anxiety for us, but there was not a single mishap in the bar service and we couldn't have asked for a better experience for our guests or us. Not to mention, every time I looked at Nick or Jesse, they were both smiling and so happy to be there with us - it meant a lot to feel like your vendors were a part of your wedding. The space lent itself so naturally to our ceremony and reception. It was beautiful, cozy, clean, and just 100% our vibe. Our guests also complimented all night on what a cool venue we had. If you're thinking about booking an event, particularly a wedding here, don't hesitate. There's not a dang thing I would change about Garden & Grain, Perfect Plain and the people they had assisting us and our guests throughout the event. Being able to look back and see how smoothly things ran is every Bride's dream, and without a doubt you will have the same experience that we did here. Thank you G & G/Perfect Plain/Perennial Hospitality for the amazing experience on our wedding date. You have no idea what this meant to us. It means even more to feel that you guys actually enjoyed being there with us. Pat yourselves on the back and know that you are shining examples of what a wedding venue is supposed to operate like. Cheers to you guys, thank you once again for everything!

You can make a meal with a something similar to a bowl of ramen, or get tapas. We opted for tapas, 2 per person is about enough for a normal meal portion. In order of my preference, we ordered the following: 1. Ribs. The ribs were out of this world, and I don't even like ribs. They had a ginger, soy/teriyaki flavor, lots of tender meat, so good I used the sauce with the fries. 2. Tuna tacos. They were present as large chunks of seared tuna with excellent toppings, and hard shells. I would have preferred soft tacos, but still excellent. 3. Bao chicken bao cow. Very good, 2 steamed buns with meat and veggies, similar to a mini banh mi. 4. Ceviche. Good, but a very small portion, enough for 5-6 bites, not with the price per portion. 5. Duck fries. Good flavor, but no longer offered with poutine, which is what made it stand out in the first place. Not very original compared to other dishes. My wife also bought the kiss of the prom queen drink, which was extremely tart, which she loved and I hated ha. Mandy was our server, very friendly and genuine with perfect recommendations. We brought our baby too, no high chairs available, but we brought our own portable one.
