They're also not joking when it comes to their vindaloos, they're proper spicy. The first time I ordered the lamb vindaloo with a friend, our server asked us twice at the table if we can handle spice, and afterwards the manager came over and told us it's a spicy dish. I found that quite entertaining, but do appreciate their concern. In the end we thoroughly enjoyed it down to the last drop of sauce. The food was good and each main came with its own naan or rice. It was a lot of naan/rice so towards the end there were left overs of 3 mains with 3 baskets of naan (different flavors) and 2 bowls of rice. We were all quite full. I asked how many dishes were left and she said 1 fried rice and prawn dish followed by dessert. She asked if we wanted this last dish packed to go or if she should still serve it. We asked her to serve it so we can still try it together. We were later told our reservation time was ending and we had to start finishing up so all the food was packed up for us and we were given our dessert. After we left we realized the fried rice and prawn dish that was never served (because of time) was never given to us to go. Not sure if it was intentional or mistaken but considering there was a conversation about it seemed odd. Also once the food was packed we didn't leave quickly as we still had our dessert to eat then pay, and we later stayed outside the restaurant to chat for a few minutes. I doubt dishes are mistakenly left behind at the kitchen but if so there would have been plenty of time to discover the mishap. I understand the 20% gratuity and it is clearly stated but for sharing so many dishes, we had to ask for our dirty dishes to be changed towards the end of the mains. Each dish has curry/sauce, oils and strong flavors and it just continued to stay on the plate since the first dish. I'm pretty sure if we didn't ask for new plates they never would have been changed. High dining places change the plates after every dish. I can understand if it was only after the saucy dishes but that was every dish here.
