They have a surprisingly great selection of fresh produce, herbs, groceries, tortillas, beans, rice, pantry staples, and more at prices that help stretch my budget. They also carry produce you don't always find at larger grocery stores, like papaya and lychee, along with plenty of other specialty items. I recently picked up everything I needed to make my homemade herb hummus with fresh vegetables--all at a reasonable price. The aisles are a little narrow, but so are my pockets these days, so I'll happily trade a little extra maneuvering for the great prices and selection. What really keeps me coming back is the people. Everyone has always been patient, pleasant, and welcoming. It's nice to support a small business that genuinely serves its community.

My favorites are the beet juice, and the breakfast juice, which includes pineapple and carrots mixed in. They also offer kimbap here, which is such a great option for on-the-go meals. I highly recommend getting a beverage here and walking down the block to Rittenhouse Square, where you can enjoy some beautiful weather, and a refreshing drink.

Some items had a bit of mold and needed trimming, but honestly, for the price, it was still a steal. I also took a walk through the store itself, and everything on display looked fresh and well-stocked -- clearly, the regular shoppers get high-quality produce. The owner was super kind, even let me pick out my own bag, and the whole customer service experience felt very relaxed and friendly. For a spot inside the busy Reading Terminal Market, OK Lee's really holds it down. It's super clean and well organized. It's officially my new go-to for weekly groceries.

I actually try to listen and brush up on my high school Spanish. In this store the shelves are full to the brim with grocery items, snacks, treats, deli items and incidentals. They actually just expanded the the deli this year to include breakfast and different types of sandwiches. Every time I step out of the store I can't help but feel like I am missing something....not the items I purchased but the rich family and community that emanates from this magical place.

They also have random DVDs and appliances for sale here. It's open fairly late, too. I believe it's open 10am-10pm 7-days a week. Don't go out of your way to seek this place out but if you live in the neighborhood it's definitely better than most.

Yesterday I picked up luncheon meat - provolone, capicola, and some salami to make sandwiches at home - and it only cost about $20 for 2.5 pounds. Hard to beat that! The owners are so nice and they have everything. I often stop by in the summer to get some ice cream sandwiches or other frozen ice cream desserts. The trust deli is a neighborhood treasure!

The Oreos are all different flavors and are slightly thinner than the Oreos sold here in the US. The flavor I tried was White Peach and Crystal Grape. Interesting combination to mix with chocolate but it was actually tasty. The matcha chocolate doesn't taste like chocolate. The matcha flavor is very strong and it tastes like you're biting into a block of matcha but with the consistency of chocolate. I wasn't helped by anyone besides the cashier so I can't speak too much on the staff but overall I was able to navigate the store without any questions. The store is a little tight especially when you're sharing the aisles with other people. My understanding is that the S.mart directly next door is owned by the same family and is a store specializing in skincare. They share the same name but sell different items. The space was large with lots of choices, bright lighting and clear signs with pricing. The produce looked fresh and was super plentiful. The prices were also great. We got about a weeks worth of groceries, including frozen dumplings, fresh veggies, apples, eggs, chicken, oil, spices, tea and noodles for under $50. It was also so helpful to have a large parking lot available right there!
