Chad and KraftMaster did a custom front entry redo for us this fall. We'd already had plans drawn…read moreup by an architect friend and the point of the remodel was to remove the original brick and concrete entry, that was falling in due to ice heaving, and replace it with a wooden deck with storage underneath. We'd taken care of the demo and landscaping to prep the site. Chad and his crew took it from there and did a really fabulous job. We have a challenging site because of heavy clay soil and large tree roots. They carefully set the posts and quickly got to work - late in the fall - on putting up the structure. The deck went up quickly and they did everything - including the horizontal privacy cladding, a custom bumpout to integrate the new deck into the 70s house, a custom double swing door to access the storage space, and a custom railing using wire panel - exactly to spec and with a high degree of craftsmanship. Chad and his crew were always timely, courteous, and did a great job cleaning up the worksite each day. We really appreciate the great work they did and have already been so thankful to finally be able to store some unsightly items out of the way and can't wait until spring when we paint the house and stain the deck. Finally, as a female homeowner, I really appreciated that they recognized that I was the person in the equation who cared most about the outcome of the project, who had the strongest viewpoints on the design decisions, and who needed to be consulted as the project went along. This is not always the case and it's refreshing to work with a crew who doesn't ignore "the wife."

We had Mike help with our bathroom…read moreremodel a couple of years ago and knew exactly who we wanted when it was time to tackle our kitchen. Mike is a pleasure to work with in every sense of the word. He is knowledgeable, detail-conscious, and flexible. We wanted to do a portion of the work ourselves, and Mike was very willing to work with us on that basis, despite the challenges we know that handed him. He never made us feel we were too small a job to be important or that our wish to handle some work ourselves was a nuisance or hindrance. He was always ready and willing to pitch in or pull back according to our wishes. His input from design to structure to finishing was invaluable, and I always knew I could trust his opinion. We had the same experience with each and every crew he contracted work out to. They were all friendly, knowledgeable and respectful of us and our home---even down to our obnoxious barking dog. We had complete trust that what any of them suggested or did was worth doing and done right. In a situation that can be stressful, frustrating and exhausting, Mike is calm, competent, and reassuring, and his work is definitely top grade. His patient attention to every small detail is amazing and shows in the finished product. There is not enough I can say when praising Mike, both personally and professionally

Along with this work they were able to help us with a lead-based paint hazard reduction and a Radon evaluation, with the install of a Radon removal system. Working with Nicole was a pleasure, her attention to detail and pleasant personally made the whole process easy on me and my wife. At the conclusion of the process, the very minute concerns we voiced were quickly addressed to our satisfaction. I would recommend them highly due to the speed of their work, the low impact on us the home owners, and the quality of their completed project. At our last visit with Nicole, she made sure to remind us that Four Seasons Contracting extends a 10 year labor warranty on our roof install, along with a copy of the manufacturer's warranty. Chris was the only person who looked at it who was able to figure out how the water damage was actually happening. Even the insurance adjuster missed it! I also appreciate that Chris and his team worked to save me money, e.g. keeping the original bathroom vanity when we determined it was still usable. This was an unplanned expense, so the ability to work with GreenSky was a big plus, too. The vinyl plank floor looks and feels great; now I wish I could have it in my kitchen and entry, too. They showed up to work on the job when they said they would, painting my exterior with precision and care and stayed on the job until it was completed. This home is a three story Victorian with areas that are not easy to reach, and intricate trim that is unusual. They were professional, competent, and skilled at their craft. They were considerate by caulking joints that needed it, pointed out issues I could not see from the ground on my three story home, and completing the work to my expectations. The price was very reasonable and they did a walk around to confirm the work. They have a small town "responsible for their work" value system that left me feeling that they were trustworthy and honest. They were careful with my exterior plantings. The work they did has added to the value of my home but it was done with such ease that I wish I could have them do all of the maintenance work (plumbing, electrical etc) as it was so easy for me, and that is not my usual experience. I have contracted with them to do interior work, and would be ok with them in my home when I am at work based on the care they showed for my property. As a woman, I am thrilled to work with craftsmen who show respect for me and my instructions. Corey and his crew are so professional and respectful that I would recommend them to my elderly female relatives with confidence that they would be treated well. I confidently recommend them to anyone who has exterior or interior painting needs as of their competence, straight-forward approach, professional and courteous interactions, that are done in a timely manner with customer service as their motto. I was fortunate to have them beautify my home. Check out their website to view some of the work they have completed.
