Had this contractor put on gutters. 2 sales people gave $$ and left company. They wouldn't honor the quote. The work was average and the mistakes I requested to be fixed were supposed to be done as committed to, but we're never completed. Being my first experience having a claim I was not impressed in any way, shape or form with this company! They do not even deserve the one star. I was getting my old home ready for sale when a lovely hail storm hit. My roof suffered only cosmetic damage, but I figured a new roof would help my sale. After some research I decided to go with Oberg. This was due to me knowing some of the workers. Now I made clear to them I was struggling with my insurance company and needed professional help. At first I had some relief things would start to move in a positive direction. The representative assured me numerous times they and my insurance company were on the same page and I would receive a second check after completion. So i gave them a check for $9600 to start. Early summer they finished the roof. Afterwards I received a bill for another $9000. They said the insurance wasn't going to pay anymore, even though they stated earlier I was going to receive a check. $15,000 I paid these swindlers. Insurance only covered $3,000 of my gold layered $18,000 dollar roof. Hustlers, swindlers and down right dirty practices. This was a rambler low pitch roof. I new I should never trust a company that rolls around in all brand new Chevrolet Trucks. Not to mention after talking to over a dozen other friends they had a similar experience to mine!! Let my mistake be your lesson folks! Stay away from them. Go with someone local and get lots of estimates people!! I know and researched a bit of the people there as well. Absolutely The worst group getting results from an estimate I can only imagine if I hired them to do the work I asked them for a estimate which they said no problem I said come to my church they took a measurement trying to be clever measuring with a drone Single story church OK I thought wow fancy really they just needed. square footage of the roof and the building for the siding simple but then Jake calls is all excited and wants to save the windows of the church Around the siding absolutely I said but yet 4 weeks go by and they could not give me a bid they were hemming and Hying and then I finally i said how if I pay the materials roofing, siding material have them delivered to the site and you tell what you want and you Need and bill me for labor nothing wouldn't call me back didn't want to talk about it they just are jacking up prices my suggestion keep looking you have to do better than these people the way they communicate or lack of communication I just need to know what it would cost me for your company to do the cost of putting a new roof on my church and siding on my building that's it it's not brain surgery I called Jake two times this week that I said I'll pay full price trust me I have no problem then they called me back because they know that I was offering more money I asked for the estimate with the measurements "well I don't have them on me I have them at the office I said was it could you get them at the office and just somehow give me an estimate after 4 1/2 weeks now yeah I will I'll get back to you" never got back to me do not stay around for the estimate because you'll never get it bummer read more

I can't say enough good things about oberg roofing! we got a new roof last year after a hailstorm, and joe was our salesman. He dealt with all the insurance stuff for us and had it set up really quickly to get the new one on. The guys showed up and had it done in a day! This year we needed new siding and windows, so we called joe again and he came right away for a quote. They were very competitively priced and worked with us on our budget. The guys that did the work were great! They were professional, courteous, and super accommodating to all our requests, even last minute things we added on. They worked in sub zero weather which we definitely didn't expect. They got the windows in and out quickly during the cold, and cleaned up very well after they were done. We had another guy come and trim the windows inside the house and he did a great job too! The house looks amazing! We keep seeing cars slow way down in front of our house to check out the new look! We even had a few come back around the block to check the sign in the yard! Even after they were all done, we bought all new exterior/flood lights, and were nervous to hang them on the house because we really didn't want to mess up the new siding. We called joe to get instructions on how to do it, and he just sent someone over and he hung all the lights for us! Amazing customer service and excellent work! I highly recommend oberg!! read more
