Made the mistake of giving in to a free inspection of siding from a door-to-door guy. This…read moreultimately turned into a 2+ hour ordeal of pushy, aggressive sales pitch. Of course they said I had all sorts of problems with my siding and quoted me an expensive job. I stated that I didn't want another bill to pay and blatantly said I would not be signing or deciding anything today. Each time I said no the guy said he needed to "call in the numbers," and would then call in and get the price lowered. He would make comments while on the phone like, "wow I didn't know we could go that low!" or "Well that's just a no brainer," like I was an idiot and couldn't see what he was doing. Every time I said no he would do this call and then lower the price. I had to repeat myself at least 4 times and stated, "I'm getting frustrated," twice before I was able to get the guy to finally leave. He kept saying, "I completely understand," in response to me, but then would just go right back into his sales pitch. I finally said, "Do you? Because you completely disregard everything I'm saying." They will also ask obvious questions designed for you to say "yes," and pressure you further. So glad I didn't sign anything with them, I will never do business with a company that trains their sales people in tactics like that. It was awful.
