We recently had a tree removed and I just knew our gutters were in dire need of cleaning. I did look at having a gutter guard of some type put in but the costs (cleaning was included) was significant. After I rec'd the quote from Gutter Maids I figured I could get this service done once a year for the next 12-15 years and still be ahead of the game. BTW, even with most gutter guard system it is still recommended to have your gutters cleaned every few years. I wasn't there when the crew arrived but my wife works from home and called me to complain about being distracted by men walking on our roof. So at least I know work was being done. When I got home everything was cleaned up and there was nothing out of place. I could see the first floor gutters from the upstairs windows and the job looked perfect. Chris spent almost 2 hours going over the new deck plan I had drawn up, and suggested some changes that would allow us to have a larger deck, and still stay within our budget. Our new deck is almost 10 feet above ground. The stairs go down to a 4x4 landing, and then make a 90 degree turn, and end up directly in front of our gate. The deck is beautiful, and rock solid. Chris and Darian were polite and professional throughout the entire project. Chris made sure that all of our needs were met, and gladly accomodated us on some last minute changes. Craig, his key guys (Marty and Chuck) and all of his subcontractors were extremely professional, easy to work with and PATIENT. As we met with the various material suppliers and told them we were working with Schoenberg Construction, we always heard: "Oh, they're good to work with." With any large construction project, you always run into unforeseen issues - ALWAYS! What counts is how those issues are resolved. We, of course, had our share of unexpected issues, and Craig and his subcontractors always worked to resolve the issues in a prompt, fair and equitable way. Craig also worked very closely with our bank throughout the construction process to provide the detailed financial records now required by banks from the start to completion of construction. We highly recommend working with Craig and his team.
