Outstanding Home Inspection - Highly Recommend John! We…read morehired John in July 2026 to inspect our brand-new 2025-built home in Howe, TX, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. As a family relocating from out of state, we were nervous about buying a new-construction house without being able to oversee everything in person. We needed someone we could truly trust--and John delivered in every way. From the very first conversation, his communication was excellent: clear, timely, and professional. He walked us through the process, answered every question (even the ones we didn't know we should ask), and kept us fully informed every step of the way. On inspection day he was extremely thorough. He took the time to carefully examine every system and detail of the home, explaining what he was looking at and why it mattered. Nothing felt rushed. Because we were out of state, we had to rely completely on his judgment and updates. John made that easy. He gave us confidence that our investment was being looked after with real care and expertise. We trusted him completely, and he more than earned that trust. His inspection report was so great that the home builder ended up fixing a majority of issues. If you're buying a home in the Howe/North Texas area--especially if you're relocating or purchasing new construction--we wholeheartedly recommend John. Professional, thorough, and genuinely helpful. We're so glad we found him! Feel free to adjust any details or add the company name if you'd like!

From the very first interaction, the communication was clear, candid, and incredibly helpful. All of my questions were answered thoroughly, follow-up was prompt, and there was zero pressure at any point. I really appreciated the honesty and transparency throughout the process. Even without formally using the service, the level of professionalism and customer care stood out to me. Based on that alone, I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for someone knowledgeable, responsive, and straightforward.

Initially I was confident utilizing this company for inspections, based on my realtor's…read morerecommendation. We paid $2585.00 to inspect the main home, pool/spa, 2 metal buildings, septic, generator, foundation elevation and thermal scan. They were going to send 3 guys out to inspect the property. The experience turned into somewhat of a nightmare. I attempted to share my concerns privately via email. Just like they appear to have done with other unhappy customers, they blew me off and replied with their standard message of how they did nothing wrong while changing a few things to make it fit my specific issues. Below is the email I sent to Viking. Again, their response was generic and dismissive (probably just like the response they will post to this review). Due to limited characters allowed in reviews, I am unable to add it here. We had multiple inspections performed earlier today. During the inspection process, and now after the inspection, I am having significant concerns regarding the accuracy, thoroughness and details of the inspections. Before I go out to the link that was sent and leave an honest review stating facts only, I would like to give you the opportunity to make things right. Just a few of the many items that did not go well: When reviewing issues that came up during the inspections I asked what levels both propane tanks were at. They were surprised. One had been completely missed, so they did go back out. It was found to be completely empty and had a large amount standing water around all of the valves and other equipment. After I, the consumer, pointed this out it was added. That inspector had already left the premises. One of the two inspectors that remained agreed that it was a concern to miss something so major. Come to find out from the homeowner, this is also potentially the reason why the inspectors could not get the pool heater to turn on. If a potential buyer had not been in attendance and pointed it out, it would've been completely missed. Of note, shortly after all of your employees left, a propane company showed up to add propane. The greenhouse was not inspected initially. I had to show your employees the email from Viking stating it would be included. They did end up adding it and stated the messages they get from the office are limited. Sorry, but not my fault. Again, it would have been completely missed. As I sat down to begin reviewing the reports, the first that I scanned (the termite inspection) stated the house is wood with a composition shingle. It is in fact an ALL metal roof and fiber cement siding. When I was speaking to the inspectors and one of them mentioned "wood", I asked that we go back out and verify this. I was not interested in a house with 100% regular wood siding (d/t potential wood rot). One of the other inspectors went with the other and confirmed it was in fact fiber cement. Again, an inspector cannot tell the difference in wood and fiber cement siding? Unacceptable. These are just 3 of the multitude of concerns that I have at this time. I have not even begun to review the whole home inspection report in its entirety. I can only imagine what has been missed and/or recorded incorrectly. Disappointed as you came recommended by our agent. I will inform her of my personal experience. Is this how you would like your employees to represent your company? I should hope not. My reply to their dismissive response: So basically, just like you respond to your other customers who express concerns via reviews, you shift blame and blow them off replying with the same generic response. Again, I brought up the second propane tank, greenhouse, and siding issue. That is why they were included. I can confidently say, after buying and selling over 10 properties since 1998, working with inspection companies every single time. Your company has been the absolute worst one I have encountered. Congratulations, I am certain this will catch up with you in the future.

You should be able to spend a night in a home to test drive it before purchase...but until that becomes normalized - there are home inspections. We are working quickly to close on a home in Coppell and reached out to Angel based on his excellent reviews. He truly lived up to the hype. He was able to inspect the house within 24 hours of our request and spent a thorough 3 to 4 hours going over every detail, even climbing up on the roof. There is an upcharge to include a pool inspection, but we added it because it is always better to be safe than sorry. Angel noticed things we never would have even thought to look for. After the inspection, he took the time to personally walk us through the report, answering all of our questions, and then sent a detailed copy with photos just a few hours later. You really cannot put a price on peace of mind. Highly recommend!

He truly inspected every nook and cranny of the house and paid close attention to details that we never would have noticed on our own. What impressed me even more was the time Brian took after the inspection to walk me through his findings. He explained everything clearly and patiently, making sure I understood not only what he found but also why it mattered. I had several questions related to the inspection, as well as some questions that went beyond the scope of the inspection, and Brian was knowledgeable enough to answer all of them confidently and thoroughly. You can tell that Brian has a great deal of experience and genuinely cares about helping homeowners understand their property. His attention to detail, professionalism, knowledge, and willingness to answer questions gave us a lot of confidence as we move forward with our new home. We will definitely be requesting Brian again for our 11-month warranty inspection. I would highly recommend Brian Baney and GreenWorks to anyone buying a home, especially a new construction home. If you want an inspector who is thorough, knowledgeable, patient, and truly takes his job seriously, Brian is an excellent choice!

I hate to be the person to leave a bad review, but people falling for five stars need to understand…read morewhat a horrible experience I had with this company. I was in an option period and my initial inspection flagged major foundation and structural issues with the home at Friday at 6pm. I was referred to other companies, but they were closed over the weekend. Googled companies and came across GreenWorks. rep not only said they can accomplish a full evaluation of both downstairs and upstairs, but also share estimates on price and come on that Sunday. With the option period ending the following Friday , I had felt I had to take a chance on them considering they said they can give me what I was asking for. Sunday comes and I reconfirm with the engineer in person my asks: evaluate downstairs and upstairs and give me a cost for repairs. Not once was I stopped to clarify if they could actually do the work requested. They had no problem accepting my $900. Fast forward to the end of day 3 (Wednesday) and after several calls emphasizing any expedited request I get the report, only to find upstairs was not evaluated and there was no cost repair plan (they claimed it would come within 24 hours). 48 hours to decide on moving forward on a home, and I wasted those days to not get the full answers. Called 4 times between end of Wednesday and Thursday asking to speak to a manager and every time they told me they'd call me back asap. Never once got a call back. MY FIFTH TIME calling, I get on the line with a customer support rep, not a manager. I'm then told that evaluation of upstairs was not part of the deal, and that no estimate was promised in my proposal and they will not be sending estimated cost (it literally showed in the email a "cost repair" link) I burned Sunday-Thursday waiting for something they refused to acknowledge they told me they could do, had to hire another company to come out and they gave me rough estimates within the same day. Not only that, they "worked" towards getting me a full refund, then the following week said best they can do is $300 because there's no "proof" that they confirmed price and upstairs evaluation. Do not use this company. Incredibly frustrating experience all around and zero accountability. I've advised all my contacts in the real estate industry to put them on a "do not use list".
