Nothing special just like a shopping center with normal prices (high) lol so value would be okay selection there is a variety of of items. Service n/a. I'd rather go shopping at Manly Beach or downtown Sydney . read more
This stationary shop decked out wit other various items such a large wooden letters to help spell names, words, phrases and so forth. They also have ceramic items such as tea cup and saucer set, novelty items etc. From books, to calendars, notepads, pens, travel mugs, canvas prints, back to school packs and the list goes on. Cute store! read more

I must admit, having lived in Sydney for almost two years now - I was vaguely aware of this shopping centre. It was only until recently that wanting to shop at DFO caught my attention. It felt difficult to get to, a mere obstacle at first. With the trusty TripView app, I found that coming here was an easy 525 bus ride from either Strathfield or Olympic Park train stations. Came here for some bargains, and bargains I did indeed receive. So happy to find Lululemon here. $20 off a yoga tank top already, not to mention scoring a new pair of boots at Diana Ferrari. Not to mention a new candle at Royal Doulton. Yes, and you can even buy Versace glassware at 50% off. This is one big circle. Great shops earns three well deserved stars for this DFO. It loses two stars for the lack of eating facilities. Not everyone wants to eat from the chains come lunch time. The tables fill up quick. It will be good to enjoy more variety of lunch spots for the hungry bargain shopper at heart. read more
Coming from Las Vegas where we have a couple of large and rather nice factory outlet malls, DFO is a bit underwhelming. It's currently undergoing quite a lot of construction, which drastically reduces its aesthetic appeal. The parking lot is cramped and most of the middle section is missing. Still, this is all irrelevant if you can snag that one amazing deal. Mine wasn't amazing, but I'm happy with the coat I walked away with. The price was right and the design isn't something I had seen around much on the men's side. Overall, I'm going to say the outlet mall is average. Not the greatest shopping experience, but you might just find something to make the trip worthwhile. read more

Ah, I have a sort of love-hate relationship with DFO Homebush. Maybe it's because I expect so much of it now, seeing as my first visit there was amazing. It's pretty much the luck of the draw with DFO... sometimes, you can find the most awesome stuff for ridiculously low prices... and sometimes, not so much. Still, I *always* manage to return with some great purchases, which always cost much less than they would at the retail outlet. There's an almost endless variety of shops to choose from, from furniture stores to shoe shops, and there's a more than adequate food court at which to take a break and recuperate from all the shopping. And also to take stock of just how much money you've spent (hint: obscene amounts). read more
So you think factory outlet, you think cheap, you'll be wrong. Sure there are some bargains to be had, but beware that mostly it's going to cost you about the same or sometimes even more from a normal outlet. The renovations have made it a wee bit more appealing at least and it seems there's a lot more parking. However just bear in mind that before you go on a shopping spree to check the prices against other places so that you aren't being ripped off. Oh and they have free wifi. FREE! About time somewhere in Australia did this. read more
It was about time that this place had an uplift and the renovations achieved this. I was pleasantly surprised as I caught the travalator to the food court. The food court is still quite noisy. There is a wide range of fast foods to choose from before you hit the shops to spend up big. I just wait to spend the dollars at the January sales. Parking is still a huge problem and the entry to the area needs to be looked at by the local council....traffic is at stand still and the lights at the round about are not turned on! Someone needs to look at this situation as there will be an accident here with aggressive drivers. There is a free car park beside the centre which is beside a park...go there, lots of shade and not too far to walk. read more
I came here with excitement, thinking about "cheap cheap cheap!" but walked out with disappointment. Despite being known as a factory outlet, it is not exactly *that cheap*. I agree that the prices are cheaper than the retail shops but the discount is not steep. I am sure there are some bargains in some of the shops, but you probably have to spend a lot of time looking for them. (time is money!) If you are around the area, it's worth stopping by to check out the store but otherwise, save your money on petrol ;) read more

A couple of times I've made the journey out to Homebush to go to DFO and each time I've come back semi-disappointed. I think in my head, I'm expecting to get super-dooper bargains, when the reality is slightly cheaper stuff that couldn't be sold in the main shops, such as clothes a few sizes too big for your averaged sized human. It does have its certain plus points, in that you can pick up some bargains, and if you're in the market for bits and pieces for the kitchen/bedroom, then you're not going to mind if it's the end of the line products (although going to Victoria's Basement would be just as cheap - if not cheaper - in the kitchen department). It's definitely worth checking out as you never know what you might find, but don't go expecting that this is the holy grail for bargain hunters. read more

Direct Factory Outlet (DFO) has over 100 big brand name stores which sell heavily discounted clothing, homewares and other goods. Customers flock to this super centre for huge savings (up to 70% or more). Excess stock and goods from last season are sent to DFO which are then sold. Items are generally in tip top condition; what you'd find in a normal retail store. I have been to DFO on multiple occasions, it's great for Christmas shopping! One of my best purchases were some really cute pajama shorts from Peter Alexander for only $15! Homebush can be a bit of a trek for some, but is worth the trip! If you get tired easily, there is a food court within the shopping complex. There's little choice and the food is somewhat 'pricey'. A word of warning: Not all all stores offer full refunds. Some businesses barely discount their wares. However, most stores such as Cotton on and Wanted heavily discount their goods. read more

With sales happening almost 8 times a year in regular stores, I wonder if anyone actually pays retail. Even at DFO they have sales and sometimes offer further reduction on those sale items too! Best times for this are after Christmas and during financial year end. Sizes - Not a problem. I've always managed to find clothes my size. Colours - The classics are not as heavily discounted as the seasonal colours. (especially in Handbags and shoes) Styles - Last season and sometimes even a year old. But a black skirt looks great irrespective of the year and at bargain prices, it's a steal. Each store, resembles their retail outlet, so It's not like shopping in a warehouse and pulling items out of heaps or boxes.. Although, if you do come across the heap, that's where it's probably heavily discounted. I once found a pair of Tony Bianco shoes for $10 and in my size! Finding a parking spot is annoying though. The carpark is huge, but there's never a free spot, especially true if you go over the weekend! read more
I wanted to be excited !!! ...... I wanted to have fun but unfortunately it just never happened. They get you in with promises of great & amazing discounts but at the end of the day ..... you are just getting 'Old Stock' ...... discontinued Stock ...... And just plain Bad taste Stock ....... small savings that are lost in the petroleum used to drag yourself out there in the first place. In future I will avoid the place and pay just alittle more to avoid the crowds & traffic & false advertising. read more
Big outlet shopping mall with lots of shops. There are lots of bargains at times, but stock levels do vary, as they are selling end of season and discontinued stock. It can get crowded on the weekends, and the 2hrs of free parking is not enough to peruse all the shops. The food options are also not very good. You are probably better off going to Flemington for food read more

Shopping is good but the stress of only having 2 hours free parking is awful..not enough time. $5 extra for us as we got caught in the exit traffic..by three minutes..rip off. Very bad design the exit boom gate is too far from the carpark exits and all the traffic builds up and makes you late..is this deliberate? No more shopping at dfo...bad parking experience. read more

DFO = fun shopping and some bargains My top picks are Peter Alexander - bought some pajama shorts reduced form $30 to just $3.60 BARGAIN Dotti Little black dress ( this season) reduced from $80 to $20 BARGAIN I am sad that Bras and things have left the centre - I may have actually shed a tear when I found put they weren't here anymore as they were always a great shop to visit. Todays shopping adventure also included a visit to Lisa Ho store . The dresses there are heavily discounted but not dirt cheap - $600 dresses reduced to $260 . The dresses are all beautifully made and are well worth the money. I didn't buy anything here today but may be back to buy a formal dress for the christmas party season. The sales assistants here were lovely. I recommend a visit here if you need a formal dress read more

Newly renovated with a lot more high end stores and much bigger car park. I was here before Xmas buying my Xmas gifts at the converse store. I noticed there were Michael Kors and a few other branded stores. I walked in but they have a lot of older stuff as most outlets usually do. It's a great place if you're looking for everyday things or gifts. Beware of crowds. Especially before and after Xmas. It may take you half an hour from the round about to the parking area. Most busiest days are the weekends. They do have a new system which will tell you how many parking spaces is available. During the high season there will be workers who will direct you. read more

Do not buy at Ralph Lauren - Salesladies are rude. I was with my sister in law who came here in Australia as a Tourist. We were looking for sizes at mens shirt. The saleslady told us not to touch the folded shirts and if we want sizes just call her then she left. We stood there and waited for her. We called her back and ask for sizes and quickly said they dont have that size without even checking the shelves. Very bad customer service. read more

If you happen to be cruising through downtown Homebush at any stage, make a pit stop at the DFO factory outlet... bring your credit card... and plenty of time to shop till you drop for everything and anything under the one roof. If you're lucky, you might spot that pair of Nine West shoes or Country Road blouse you didn't get around to buying in season - now slashed to some ridiculously rock bottom price. I'm on the prowl for work shoes, and I'm in luck. $10 for a pair of black suede Wanted numbers. I'm warned of the no exchange policy on $10 bargains, but the car ride back here would cost more than the shoes anyway. Oroton bags and wallets galore - slashed, then slashed again. 50 per cent off the already slashed price to be precise. Men, women and kids are all well and truly covered here from top to toe. But this chick's firmly fixated on ladies gear... think Witchery, Portmans, Jigsaw, French Connection, Marcs. Even Lisa Ho and Polo Ralph Lauren are sharing the markdown love... read more

Visited DFO on the 12/7/16 and all I can say is don't waste your time. This place sells nothing but poor quality, very old out of season stock. It is absolutely crap. I mainly went to the womens clothing and was so disappointed. Everything I looked at and picked up was either damaged or very tacky and cheap looking. A lot of the knitwear had holes in them and the threading was coming undone. Sizing is also a problem. Nearly everything I looked at was a large. As for the pricing on some of these items, absolute rip off. No bargains at all. I've seen better quality clothing at the Salvos. After leaving DFO, I went to Westfield Burwood and found some amazing sales and much better quality also. I also noticed some of the prices at Westfield weren't that much different to DFO's. Don't waste your time visiting this place!! read more

Yes, on the surface at least, there's a sale year round. But it also feels so last season.
